Fun in the Sun is a sub-contractor for our pool builder (reason for cost being noted at zero) but their level of professionalism was phenomenal. Everyone that worked at our home explained what they were doing, answered all of our questions (we are new to solar and having a pool, so there were a ton of questions!), cleaned up after themselves and even painted the pipes that connected the solar system up to the pool filter and pump which we thought we would likely have to do ourselves. I would highly recommend Fun in the Sun, you will not be disappointed!

The techs arrived as scheduled and reinstalled pool heating solar panels that had been previously removed so a new roof could be installed. This crew had previously removed these panels and now reinstalled them. The workers were careful while handling the panels so as not to damage them and were equally careful not to damage the roof. The work was done efficiently and with great care. The workers answered all my questions and cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely use this company again as the need arises.

I had noticed what I thought was a leak in one of the panels. Not only did they arrange to check everything around my schedule, they are friendly, courteous, honest and very reasonably priced. I could not have asked for more. Plus the solar checkup was a 'special'! I am grateful and would recommend them to anyone who wants excellent service and workmanship at a more than reasonable and fair price!!

I initially asked for a quote for installing a specific make and model propane gas heater and also asked for a quote, if I were to furnish the heater. I was very pleased when John did not balk at all at the idea of me furnishing the new heater, as I am certain most companies would have. I ordered the new heater, contacted John, when I received the new heater, and he promptly arranged to have someone come and install the new heater. Jason arrived on time, was very courteous, and completed the installation quickly and left no mess or evidence he had even been here. The frosting on the cake was when he gave me the bill and I found he had charged much less that the high end of the quote I had received. Obviously, we are very pleased and will most certainly have Fun In The Sun at the TOP of our RECOMMENDE list.

They were on time, on budget and very professional. The system works flawlessly. Iwould highly recommend them to anyone wanting a solar system

Excellent service. Family owned and operated. Very fair and customer minded. The owner's son performed the work and he was extreme;y courteous and knew what he was doing. He helped me weigh out all options, reaching the most affordable way to go. It is not often that you see a business run this well. They are a huge step above all the rest out there.

The guys from Fun in the Sun Pool Heating came on time. They did the job as quoted. There were no surprises and they were able to complete everything I needed done.

The experience was very positive. We had moved into our house here and we had them install a solar pool heating system. It went without a hitch and it works beautifully. So we are very happy.

The inspection and such was well done. Was disappointed that the issue I called for was not corrected on that initial visit.

Mike, the owner, came out for the estimate. He was very friendly and informative. Didn't speak negatively of his competitors which spoke highly of his character to me. Seems like a good honest guy. They just need to update their website. ;)

We have had no problems with them. They were very kind, were on time and so far we didn’t have any problems. Their price was fair as when we checked around we found the same price all around. We went with them because it was more established company. They were very detailed in explaining all the different stuffs and we think we were happy with our choice.

I called the company to fix some leaks. The technician was not able to come out for 5 days. When he did come, he called me and said there was nothing they could do because the former owners or roofers had filled in leaks with silicone. I asked if we went up and removed the silicone if they would be able to fix it. He said he talked to his service manager and he said they would not be able to touch our panels at all. He told me we needed all new panels. My husband went up on the roof the following day. He removed the clamps, took off the silicone with his fingernails, washed out the rings inside and put it all back up. My pool is 95 degrees with absolutely no leaks. Fun in the Sun called today to collect their service fee of $80. I was quickly asked if they wanted to set up an estimate for a whole new system which the technician told me would be between $3,000-$4,000. I told the receptionist that my husband had fixed everything himself. I asked if they would reduce my service call fee since they didn't do anything. She told me he took pictures. She also said that if anything breaks in the next 30 days they would come out without a service fee. I understand that they didn't want to work on the panels with the silicone because they worried they would ruin something. I don't understand why they kept telling me I needed a whole new system. I also don't understand why they wouldn't reduce the service fee since they did nothing to the system at all. A little bit of professionalism goes a long way. If they had just reduced my service fee or waived it, I would have been a customer for life.

The rep was so honest and told me that most of the things were fine, only certain things needed fixed. They were very honest and the cost was lower than I had thought. I am so happy with this companies integrity and honesty. It was very nice to know that they were willing to go above and beyond. Not only was there tech a good experience but the communication with the individuals at the store is excellent.

We had several quotes and were very pleased with Mike Brewer from Fun in the Sun. He came out inspected our home and explained the type of system we would need. He was very patient and answered all of our questions. I found Mike to be very straightforward and honest. He did not suggest extra features or equipment we did not need. They scheduled a time and were prompt. I asked them to call ahead so I could lock up our dogs, and they called 15 minutes before they arrived. They installed the system in about 4 hours. They made sure and demonstrated the system to us. They included a manual and warranty for our records. They cleaned up completely, and even took away my old pump and motor. The solar system is very easy to use. You practically set it and forget it. We hope to use the pool for many more months. We would use Fun in the Sun for any future pool repairs. A GREAT EXPERIENCE.

I already have a pool service and didn't really want to have to shop around for someone to do solar heating for my pool. So i ask my pool service to find someone they could work with and have it installed. Fun in the Sun worked great with my pool service. They were excellent and efficient. 6 solar panels installed on 2 different levels on the house. I didn't have any way to put them on the south side, so the recommended the panels to on the west side to they received the sun at the hottest time of the day. They connected the system to the existing pump/filter system. After they finished, they asked if i had any house paint left which i did. They painted the white pipes to match the color of the house to everything blends in very well. There was no trash left to clean up. Lastly even though I won't be working with the equipment as much as my pool service, they explained and showed me how everything worked.

We had some leaves in the solar panel up on top. My husband tried to call another provider and it didn't work, so we called Fun in the Sun Pool Heating. They came out and fixed it. It has been working beautifully since. They even painted the pipes that they put in. It's wonderful. They were very responsive in getting back to us. We really liked the quality of their work. They did a really good job. We didn't have to call them back or do anything. They came out and fixed it right the first time. We are pleased. They would be the first ones we would call in the future if needed. All the members of all the companies that we use on Angie's List are very responsive in getting back to us.

Their poles were accurate. The work was well done and done quickly. I would use their services again in the future.

I spent $2000 on that work. They were responsive and professional. The spa is working fine now.

Fun in The Sun arrived. They were very professional. They had already pre-located the home and viewed the roof lines and sun diretion/angles via google maps. They checked with me to make sure the layout was ok with me. They then installed the panels, plumbed them to work with an existing propane heater and PentAir Intelliflow Pump. They programed the pool automation for full solar or solar preference (before the propane heater is used, if necessary). The described and showed me the changes in they made in the pool controls, describe the flow rates necessary. They also explained how to change the remote control settings, how the temperature sensors an air relief valves worked. Their work was very neat, they keep the lines close to the roof line and very neat. Everything was cleaned up.. they even raked the dirt smooth where the pipes were buried. I was impressed. I would definitely recommend them!

On time arrival. Sales pitch went well. talked about panels neighbors had (probably the only bad was how everyone else's are so bad and inefficient- but they work for them very well). Showed me their very nice panels. Impressed w/ quality and could talk to owners of same setup. My workmate has their panels and raves about them. Offer was pretty good but $7000 to put in panels in April was not in our cards. we don't like to use credit for purchases like this. So we put it all on hold until we can have the money saved.

They were very responsive from the day I called. They were out within two days. They got the work done within the time limits they gave me. I had used them before and that's why I called them back. I would use them again.

Wow. Can these guys talk. If you decide to contact them, make sure you have plenty of time to kill. I had done a fair amount of research into the various different products available, so I didn't have a lot of questions. Good thing too, because I had a heck of a time getting the salesman to talk about the product. I heard the salesman's entire life story. I heard the owner's entire life story. I heard how the salesman and the owner's son used to work together at another company. I heard which church the owner preaches at. I heard everything but why I should buy their product. (To make it even more frustrating, the salesman is obviously a very heavy smoker, and the overpowering smell was making my eyes water. Yes, it is his right to smoke if he wants to, but if you are going to be sitting in peoples house making a sales pitch, a little consideration please.) I tried a few times to get him back on track, and got a little information out of him, but mostly what I got was some shameless mudslinging and personal attacks against their competitors. After telling him a couple of times that I needed to wrap it up, he started the hard sell - "What's it going to take to get you to sign a contract today?" When I told him I was not going to sign a contract that day, he insisted on calling the owner to "see what we can do for you." So he called the owner on his cell phone and left a voice mail for him to call him back, and then sat there at my kitchen table and wouldn't leave. Their competitors took about 45 minutes of my time to give me a thorough overview of their products and services and why I should buy from them. These guys wasted an hour and a half of my time, barely talked about the product, and I honestly thought I was going to have to physically throw him out of my house. Even if these guys had hands down the best product on the market, no way would I give them a penny of my money.

After Ryan with Central Florida Solar attempted to scam us into getting a new solar system by saying the warranty was void and the entire system was going bad when we requested service for a leaky panel, we called Fun in the Sun which has provided us excellent service since coming under its current ownership about 5 years ago. Fun in the Sun switched product lines, so we had received a letter from the manufacturer that the warranty repairs now had to be done by Central Florida Solar. Since CFS wasn't going to honor the warranty anyway and we were quite suspect about their recommendation, we decided we should go back to Fun in the Sun, who then told us over the phone that they would honor the warranty, despite the fact that they would have to absorb the cost of the new panel since they were no longer the manufacturer's authorized dealer (they would replace it with a different brand). They are doing this to continue to provide excellent customer service to their established customers. We only had to pay labor and service call. When James and another serviceman came out, they were able to plug the leak, so we only paid the minimum service call fee. They inspected the system, said it was fine, even laughed at some of the lines given us by Ryan.

It was a big endeavor. We were very happy with them. They called the manufacturer of our old one to see if it could be repaired first. They gave us a great deal and it worked out wonderfully. They were genuine and honest. They are great.
