This is the most scandalous property management company I have ever dealt with! First, they send out an email for you to sign up for FREE online rental payments through eCheck, but once you do, they still charge you $9.99 to pay your rent online. Secondly the lease is full of wording that takes advantage of tenants and tries to take away your rights. One is the "non disparagement" clause that tries to force tenants not to write poor reviews about their company. If they didn't run things so poorly, perhaps tenants would not write the TRUTH about Florida Realty Investments! They also stuck in a clause that tenants have to pay a mandatory $125.00 fee for cleaning, no matter how clean the residence is left. $125.00 for nothing? That is just greedy! Besides, the Florida regulations already cover a landlord if the residence is left dirty or damaged, it's called deposit forfeiture! Finally, they have a clause where they can enter your residence at ANY time for ANY reason! There are Florida statutes prohibiting landlords or their property managers from doing so, but FRI put that clause in the lease anyway, because that is how little respect they have for the tenants! I don't know why any owner would ever choose this horrible company to manage their property! It is definitely a way to run off good tenants for sure!
