I had a claim from my warranty company that was assigned to Fahrenheit Plumbing on Wednesday, July 13th...I spoke to the dispatcher that day and she said there were no morning (8-12pm)appointments available until Monday the 18th. So we scheduled an apt. for the 18th. This claim is for a leak that is coming from my ceiling into the kitchen. At 11:52am on the 18th (day of my SCHEDULED apt.) the dispatcher, Yolanda, calls and says the tech assigned to my call is tied up and won't be able to make it until this afternoon but she will call me again when he is on the way. At 3:00pm I had heard nothing from the company so I called and spoke to the dispatcher again wanting to make sure they knew today was the only day my husband would be home and to please make sure they made it to my house that day. The dispatcher, again Yolanda, said she understood and would have someone there today. At 5:54 pm, Yolanda called and said a technician would not be coming today because my warranty company would not pay "after hours" fees... (mind you I had an appt and had they shown up for there scheduled time there was no need for "after hour charges" but because THEY were running late I was going to be penalized!) Yolanda informs me that she can send a technician first thing tomorrow morning (Tuesday), I told her I would need to call her back and let me call the warranty company as my husband and I both work and there would be no one home tomorrow. My warranty company was very apologetic for the troubles I had gone through thus far with the company but they could not force a technician out and they wouldn't pay the "ridiculous after hour" charges. So I had no choice but to call Yolanda back and tell her to please send someone in the morning because my ceiling is still leaking and my roof is sagging. The dispatcher that answered this time was TINA...I asked to speak to Yolanda but she had gone home, so Tina said she would have a tech at my house at 7am tomorrow morning, I asked if she knew who was calling and she replied, "yes, Mrs. Conway you are the only causing trouble!" and then hung up the phone!! This was all so rude and confusing...I hadn't done anything accept call one time at 3:00pm to verify they were still coming, that is far from TROUBLE! The next morning I called at 6:45 am because I had yet to receive a call that the technician was coming...again I had the pleasure of speaking with Tina who said she would call the technician to verify. At 7:15am I still had not heard back from Tina and a tech had not shown at my house. My husband called and spoke to Tina who rudely informed him that the original technician had a sick child and would not be in but a technician was on the way.... The technician finally shows up and begins taking pictures of my ceiling and leaves my shower water running (possible origin of leak), he steps outside to speak with Tina. When he comes back into my house he says there will be a $75.00 access fee to cut into the ceiling and to not shoot the messenger he had had a long night and doesn't do residential work. I asked the tech if the $75 is in place the other $45 fee I had to pay..he didn't know but would call Tina. This time the tech does not leave the house to speak with Tina he calls her from my kitchen...I can hear Tina speaking to the tech through his phone...she informs him that there are two fees because the warranty company would not pay for the access fee and he should not allow her (me/homeowner) to talk down to him be mean to him! I was completely flabbergasted at what I was hearing! Again, I was not rude to the tech and did nothing at all to the dispatchers for her to be that rude! I verified with the tech that I heard Tina correctly through his phone and he said yes but that's between me and her!! I felt so disrespected...again I've been more then patient with this company and they were just very rude. I had to ask the tech to leave because it was so inappropriate. My warranty company reassigned my claim and filed a complaint on their end as well.
Description of Work: Nothing and that was the problem, they didn't keep their appointments and their customer service was HORRIBLE.
