E.C. Waters Air Conditioning & Heat

We have used the services of E. C. Waters for many years. They serviced our previous A/C systems and eventually installed our current Trane air conditioner systems. They are always quick, efficient and fairly priced. Tim is a wonderful technician as he fully explains any service needs and makes helpful recommendations for continued care in between seasonal maintenance. We highly recommend Tim and E. C. Waters!

I called EC waters for a replacement of my AC unit's motor, the first estimate I got was 150 at most. I called I think her name is Debbie not sure and asked when are they coming back to replace it. She said that my motor was not under warranty and it ended Nov 24 2022 it's only Nov 3 2022. She said her mistake and now, if we want to get it fixed it will 380 dollars. We went ahead and did it anyway. Big mistake!!! the work took 10 minutes and we paid 380 dollars for it. If you want Honest company EC waters is not it. GO somewhere else don't even bother with EC waters they are greedy!!!.

Alan came out from EC waters. Diganosed the problem quickly( was the capacitor). Got it fixed quickly. Decent prices; and Was able to advise us on the age of the unit and how much life he thought was still in the unit. Was very down to earth. Alan definitely represented the company very well.

EC Waters installed our air conditioner in 2008. Ever since then, we have had them come out twice a year to do the maintenance check. Each time they have been very professional, punctual, and thorough. We will continue to use them.

So far, we are very pleased with our new heat pump and E.C. Waters, the company that installed the unit. It is always difficult having to make such a major appliance purchase. However, they took the time to listen to us and to help us find a unit at a price that we could manage. They took care of the permitting and were able to do the installation, soon thereafter. During the installation, the owner came out to check on the progress and to make sure it was being done properly and to our satisfaction. It was a pleasure to do business with everyone that works at this company. The ladies in the office provided any paperwork that I requested and the company has been very responsive to any questions that we have had so far. Again, let me just say, it is always difficult having to make such a major appliance purchase, but we are glad we found E.C. Waters A/C. They made the entire process a pleasure.

Of course the AC quit during a heat wave!! The wonderful office person, Crystal, was very professional and courteous even though her phones were ringing off the hook. She was very understanding and helpful. I set up a diagnostic appointment for the next day, since I was calling in the late afternoon. The technician, Tim, showed up on time and was very professional and thorough in his assessment. The fan motor was not working and was under manufactures warranty. He ordered one and hopefully it could be delivered and installed the next day. Crystal called on Thursday to let me know the part installation would have to wait until Friday. Technician Alan called me in the am to report he was on his way to repair the AC. Alan showed up on time, with the part, was very professional and courteous and very focused on getting the AC running. He repaired the unit, informed me of the warranties, etc., and was very polite . He was all business and focused on completing the repair and continuing on to his next scheduled appointments. I am very satisfied with the work and customer service skills of all concerned at E.C. Waters Inc. and would use them again and recommend their services.

I first hired Mr. Waters 25+ years ago. He has installed two complete systems in different properties for us and has done our PM ever since. If you are looking for a fair and honest A/C and Heating company I assure you you will not go wrong hiring EC Waters.

Our A/C unit just after a year of its installation began to malfunction. We always have the thermostat set at 78 degrees during the day and at night at 76 degrees. When I woke up the A/C was very loud and it was at 80 degrees we called the provider and they said within 2 degrees it is very normal. Eventually it was at 82 degrees and we contacted them again where they mentioned they had after hour services. Then the temperature reached 85 degrees and we really needed someone to see it right then. We eventually got some after hours services provided over a couple of days. We offered to pay at the end of the first day but they wanted us to be billed at the end of the repair. On the second day the owner's son came out and we were billed for $221, we asked why it was 221$ and he said it was because we came out twice and had to replace some equipment. A week later we saw an extra charge for $115 along with the $221. We eventually got in contact with them and they charged us for an extra invoice of $115 for the first day of service which we weren't made aware of and did not sign. I asked them for a copy of this invoice, they claimed they gave us a copy of the invoice, but after finally receiving it, it shows that we signed the bill for $221 but did not sign the $115.

It went really well. We really liked them a lot.

After researching companies, we had 4 companies give us estimates. All four companies suggested the same type of variable speed equipment, however different brands. In the end we chose EC Waters for two reasons. The first reason is the company and people and the second is the product they sell. I was very impressed with the owner, Clark Waters and the sales person Alfredo. They are both professional, responsive and took time with my questions and researching my special needs. I loved the examples they shared of how they have fixed many buildings with poor design for air conditioning. And now they can add my house to the list. I was told that it would take 2 days to install the whole job, which was the same as others told us. However, they ended up sending 4 guys and doing most of the work on the 1st day. That meant we didn't have to go to a hotel over night. The owner's son, Steve Waters was in charge of the installation. He was great to work with and explained everything as they went. He was great in explaining the new high tech thermostat to me as well. It all went very smoothly. The team was prompt, professional and cleaned up as they went. The owner and sales person both stopped in to check on the job. The company also did a great job with getting the permit quickly. This was good since one of my neighbors called the city to come check us out. The second reason we chose this company is because they sell Trane. Most companies I talked to only sell Carrier and lower brands. I wanted something that will last longer. Trane is more expensive then other brands, but when we looked at the design of the system with the all aluminum coil and positive pressure in the air handler, we felt it was worth it. So far the system is working well. It's finally nice to enjoy our upstairs!

it was a simple fix. Tim the man from waters who came out explained everything to me. He was very helpful and very professional .

morning of dec 17th blower motor burnt out leaving me with no heat. called ec waters they had rick out the same afternoon. promised to get me new motor in asap. sure enough the NEXT afternoon had installed new motor and heat was back on. great job! well done!

We have used their services a couple of times within the last year. Scheduling has been very easy. They are very reliable and we highly recommend them.

I have been using their services for about ten years now. They are fantastic! Their pricing is fair and their warranty is great! If anything ever goes wrong, they will come out and fix it without any problems. They are always prompt with their work. They have always done a good job.

Their price was competitive to others. They completed the work in about eight or nine hours and their clean up was perfect! They had a lot of personal care and were professional. They were very knowledgeable of their product. My experience with them was wonderful.

They came out within a reasonable amount of time. The technician had the part with him on the truck. The price seems to be outrageously expensive. I did let the technician know this. Other than the price, he did a good job and it has been working fine since. I am satisfied with the quality, but not the price. I would not ask them to come back.

When they were here providing the estimate for the installation, we had them check the duct work. They were honest and did not try to sell us any work that we did not need. We purchased a ten year warranty with the installation as well so that if anything goes wrong, they will come out and take care of it. At one point in time, we had a problem with the unit. The technician found a leak during an inspection and they and resolved the issue under warranty. They are great about scheduling and always show up on time. The technicians they have sent out have been great and I have had no troubles with the quality of their work. They have worked very well with us. They have been great and I have been happy with their services. Overall, my experience with them was great!

I have only had them out the one time. Their cost was reasonable. They were prompt with their service and did what they said they going to do. My experience with them was great!

The installers were very good. It was a large job and was completed it in the same day. Clean up was fine and they hauled all of the old unit away. My experience with them was great!
