Drake Lawn & Pest Control

I paid 10/11/13, the following morning I got a call from customer service of this company confirming the date and time I am available. Technician named James showed up with a boots on to prevent bringing dirt in my house, looked around saying he spoke to his manager over the phone and that he is not allowed to do his job in my house because my house have a weegle??? I asked him how do you spell it? This is how he spell it to me WEEGLE, ( there is no word as is that, the tech spelled to me, a webble is an egg-shaped toy with a weight in the bottom so that, if tipped over.) Technician strongly asked for additional services like, I must do INFESTATION on top of what I paid and the technician said I must pay immediately by cash or check BEFORE he starts, this is fraud. I demanded my money back and the technician said that I have to call their office on Monday about it and it will cost me $100 to do infestation and I can make a decision until next year, I told the technician, all I want is to do the service I paid for not additional services like infestation. I clearly said, I have cockroaches that needs all sinks to be spray like my previous pest control company did, and that was all I needed to have done for what I paid. I simply said, I need you to do your job by not adding any services, the technician said, he have no way to return the money, but to talk to their office about it. This is terrible, and wasting my time waiting for this technician that was late for more than 1 hour, and wanted me to pay more to what a deal they have. This is not a kind of business company I am expecting to have by choosing here at Angie's List.

Were a little late but called to let me know and apologetic. Explained service, answered questions. Very friendly and professional. Really enjoyed doing business with them.

The technician arrived right on time and was very friendly. he explained his intentions and what I could expect. He was brief but answered all of my questions. I was happy to know that this company used a pest treatment that was not harmful to my family or our dog. I do plan on using them in the future.

James was great! Gave me a detailed explanation of what he was going to do, he took his time ensuring to get every nook and cranny. After completing the treatment he presented their long term pest control options but was not pushy by any means, very professional.

Exterminator arrived on time and did thorough outside and inside treatment.

Although my appointment was at 9:00, I was called the day before to let me know that the tech would be running about an hour late. The day of the appointment, I was called again by the office saying because of traffic, it would be another 30 min. I didn't have a problem with the delay because I was kept informed but if someone was needing to be somewhere that day, it could pose a problem to have an hour and a half delay. I was very pleased with the service and the tech was very informative and friendly. I was offered an extended plan and I did accept it. I didn't feel pressured to get any further service but I wanted to try Drake again and see if they would be effective in controlling my spiders in and around my house. This was my first time using Drake Pest Control and I was very satisfied with the first visit. I am hopeful that I will continue to be happy with them and use their service for a long time.

, Quick response. Arrived on time. Two men, not just one. Explained exactly what they would do, where they would put the pest repellent. Asked if any room I didn't want them to go in. Very polite, very congenial, quiet, wore shoe protection. Removed webs and such from eaves, Identified a pest I wasn't sure about. Explained house next door may be treating for termites and if so, they could swarm on to my house. Identified strange bugs at post light and assisted me in changing light bulb which I could not do alone. Sprayed all window and door frames, garage. Very thorough. Very professional. Answered all questions well. Finished in less than an hour. Felt very confident about their service and would hire them again. Excellent provider.

I did have a groupon which usually mean bare minimum, incredibly hard to schedule and poor service. However I thought I would try one more time and I hit the jackpot! So easy to schedule and Cameron was early!!! Cameron was very informative and let me know exactly what bugs that I had and they were not a problem to take care of. Explained everything thoroughly and let me know what to do to prevent future pests. He accidentally spilled my dog's water bowl and got down on his hands and knees to clean it up with paper towel! Great service and very professional. I would highly recommend this company to everyone!

He was very professional and friendly. He listened to what I needed accomplished and treated the areas for that. I will definitely use Drake again.

The tech, Felipe, was very professional/knowledgeable, explaining what he was doing, what products he was using, as well as how and where they would applied. He was here close to two hours, and I've had no problems since. I was especially pleased with his thoroughness.

Disappointed that specifics were not detailed in BIG DEAL pitch.... My renters are responsible for pest control and I thought I was giving them a hand on the issues they've been having. When the renter tried to schedule the appt. they were led to believe that they would be charged additional if the tech sees bugs. I'm waiting for the renter to decide whether or not they need Drake.

Super. Drake Pest Control did a very thorough job. We have been very pleased.

I payed ahead of time and then Drake pest called and told me they don't service condos apartments or townhomes. It seems like they are missing a huge market base for themselves a little ridicules they only do houses. In any case they told me I had to get my refund back from Angie's list not them.

He did a great job. spraying the house.

He explained the service and what he would do. Then he did it. Treating, spraying etc. Offered the annual service after he was finished treating the exterior and interior. Very professional. When I am able to use an annual service in the future, I will use them.

They were very nice on the phone when I set up the appointment and called the day before with a reminder. The technician was very pleasant and thorough and explained their products but wasn't pushy. Two weeks later and we are still finding dead bugs - but that means the service worked.

Technician shows up on time. He sprays the house including electrical outlets with some sort of powders. Since it is not chemical, I don't have to leave the house. I am happy with with their service.

This worked out great. The technician was there for just over an hour and was very thorough with the treatment. Scheduling was very easy through the Rapid Connect feature. They did mention they have a service plan, but we did not need it since we were selling the house. Overall, we were happy with the service and the technician did a great job.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was fine. So far the treatment has been good.
