DELINTZ DRYER VENT CLEANING

This job is clear-cut; they performed very nicely. We had also used them in 2006 as well when we first moved into the home.

Our dryer was 8 years old and drying poorly. It took 3 or more times to dry a load of towels or cotten clothes. After each drying cycle, I found wet lint lining the opened dryer door, and sometimes moisture on the tile floor beneath the dryer. This went on for months, until the day I smelled a burning oder coming from the dryer after drying a load of towels. When I opened the dryer door I smelled smoke. I pulled the dryer's circuit breaker. I thought the dryer needed a new thermostat, but a friend suggested my dryer's vent could be clogged with lent (we had never had the vent cleaned in 8 years of use). I consulted Angie's List and chose the guy with the most/best top reviews. Those reviews turned out to be correct: When I called Delintz and asked: "How soon can you come to my house to clean my dryer vent?" he said: "In a couple of hours." He was everything those reviewers said he was. The one difference was, the price he quoted me (on the phone) was $5.00 more than what the reviewers had paid, ($80.00 vs. $75.00). I didn't question that. I considered his prompt response worth $5.00 and more. I have never experienced a clogged dryer vent before (I'm in my 60s). I learned from this experience. Steve called to confirm, called to tell me he was running about 10 minutes late! Arrived, cleaned dryer vent and replaced portion of vent pipe. Very thorough, fast work!

My clothes dryer wasn't drying the clothes. The heat was working but the clothes kept coming out moist despite what I setting I selected. After researching the problem on troubleshooting websites. concluded that the problem was most likely due to a clogged drier vent. Based on their service record on Angies List, contacted Delintz Dryer Vent Cleaning Service and set up an appointment for Tuesday 5/22/12 at 4:00 pm. The Service Rep Jai Turner arrived as scheduled and explained in detail what services would need to be performed to clean out the dryer vent . He then proceeded to vacuum lint from inside the drier and also thoroughly drain the lent from the vent extending from the dryer to the roof. Upon finishing, he cleaned up the area around the dryer and re-attached the dryer to the vent.. Jai showed me the volume of lint removed and then ran the dryer to make verify that the actions he had taken had resolved the issue. The price charged of $75 was very reasonable and was the same price initially quoted to me at the appointment was arranged . Since the service was performance, my dryer has never worked better! Because of this excellent experience, I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing dryer vent service.

I was looking into a dryer vent company offering a Big Deals voucher, but after reviewing the companies in more detail, I decided to go with Delintz instead. I sent an email through their website and received a reply call the next day. I was given an estimated range cost for the job of which I was OK with and arranged a date for the service tech to come out. My wife was home when Kyle arrived (on time) and was quite pleased with his work. He moved some items that I had forgotten to take out of the laundry room(as well as replaced them when he was done). He closed the door to the laundry room and got to work. When he was all done the laundry room was all cleaned up. He told my wife that he could tell that the vent was never cleaned before. I had an additional surprise waiting for me. When I helped my wife with the laundry a few days later, I found that Kyle had cleaned the lint trap area in our dryer as well (note: lint trap is under the dryer door, not back of machine), not just the connector tube & vent. Whereas I never timed the dryer before the vent cleaning, I can't really say is it is any faster. HOWEVER, I can vouch that my laundry room is a lot cooler than it was before the vent cleaning, which means that the vent really wasn't allowing proper air flow out of the house. I would most certainly recommend the service as well as using Delintz to anyone.

.He was awesome. I was worried about the flooring when he took out the dryer but he did a great job no problems to the floor he was able to get it all cleaned out. I couldn't have been happier with the work he did. He even went up to the attic to check a couple of things up there and he found that I had mice in the attic and let me know that. He was very resonable. I will use him in the furture.

I've used them for about 15 years. I use them at least every 12-18 months and I am amazed with the stuff that is up in the dryer vent. I think that my dryer has lasted longer and works better because it is cleaned out. There is also less risk of fire since my dryer vents are cleaned out so often. They are prompt, neat and tidy. The owner has actually come out to address other issues and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We called them in the afternoon on 11/21/11. They set up an appointment on 11/22/11 between 2:30 - 3:00. They arrived at 2:30 and set to work right away. What a surprise all the lint he removed. We were very happy with their work and think they deserve a triple a rating.

We own and manage several condos in the Disney World area, and had been having issues with our clothes dryers either taking way too long to dry, or not drying at all. Before knowing about Delintz or the fact that lint in ducts and roof vents can cause your dryer not to work, we went out and purchased two new dryers. When they still did not function properly, we checked Angie's List and selected Delintz to come out and clean the traps and vents. Kyle arrived and was extremely professional. He spent about 35 minutes on each condo pulling enough lint out of roof vents to knit a sweater for an elephant. In one case, the aluminium vent hose from the dryer to the floor vent was crimped and needed to be replaced. He did that as well at no additional charge, Steve, the owner of the company is very, very professional. Call backs were quick and the service was better than any other I have received in recent memory. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

His price has gone up because I have very high ceilings. I like that he comes in, does his job, makes sure that he cleans up really well, and leaves. He does excellent work.

Their crew showed up on time for the appointment and did a wonderful job cleaning out our dryer vent. We had already pulled out dryer out from the wall to make it easier for them to get to the vent. The whole process was actually very clean and I didn't have any lint flying around in the house. Price was $75.00 which was what I had been quoted when I made my appointment. Will use again.

The service and experience was more then what I expected. They called and arranged a time right away. They looked at my connections and changed them to make sure my dryer works as good as when I purchased it in 2006. What a great company, my bill was even for less then orginally quoted. Someone is available to answer the phone when you call and they were able to schedule my service within days of my call. They were very prompt, professional and thorough. My dryer is working better than it has since we moved into this house almost 8 years ago! We likely should have had it done then. I found Delintz on Angie's List, and we set up an appointment for soon after my initial call. The Delintz techincian met me at the house promptly, and he thoroughly cleaned the vent. He noted that the duct opening on the roof had been shingled over (my roof had been recently replaced), so I had that corrected immediately by the roofer. Dryer times are now down to a normal 30 minutes -- I am thrilled with the results.

They did a good job. We didn?t have any issues with the service. I felt they were honest and even mentioned that my air ducts didn?t need to be cleaned. They could have easily extended the job unnecessarily, but chose not to. I would surely use them again if necessary.

Steve returned my call immediately, scheduled an appointment for within a day or two. They had a bit of an equipment glitch at the first visit, but still climbed up on the roof and removed the gunk from the top of the vent. They came back within a few days and arrived right on time. The job took maybe 20 minutes. I saved a large load of towels to test out my dryer, because it had been taking a LONG time to dry even the smallest loads. (I definitely waited longer than I should have to use this service!) The towels dried in 30 minutes! An amazing difference. I am 100% satisfied! Plus, they will send me a reminder postcard a year from now. This was well worth the money, everyone I met was polite and professional, and I give them my unqualified recommendation.
