Every interaction with the company has been professionally handled. They were on time, and they respected my time and my home. After the install, they set up the requisite county inspection. They have been back to do a review on the unit, and once again, they were on time and professional. Great job!

A model in customer service and professionalism. Our AC went out late in the day and we expected to see a tech in the next day or so at the earliest. Imagine our pleasant surprise when we were told Jeremy would be here that evening. The entire experience has been outstanding. Cool Today has had to pick up the pieces and make an AC system that was badly installed by a competitor work right. We now have a service agreement for electrical, plumbing and AC with Cool Today and we wouldn't consider using anyone else.

Service went very well. He did his job with no interruption to our business.

Our experience with N&M Cool Today was positive from the initial estimate to the final installation of the system. Our follow- up with them regarding the final paperwork on the extended warranty was great. We would not only use this Company again, but would recommend them to others.

I contacted Cool Today because they had a top rating on Angie's list, and a coupon for a $49.99 annual maintenance. Mike was on time and very professional. My system is two years old. At this time, I have no interest in a maintenance contract. While he was working on my air handler, I asked him a question about my unit. He said that when he was done, he would go over his recommendations. His recommendations were: 1. Purchase a maintenance agreement.2. Replace the UV light.3. Purchase an anti corrosion device. I wasn't really interested in any of his recommendations, but I listened to what I consider a "sales pitch" out of politeness. When I asked if purchasing the items were really necessary, he kept using the word "recommended". I asked how long the anti-corrosion device would protect my system from corrosion. I didn't expect an exact number, but a rough estimate. He couldn't give me an answer. I ended up purchasing the anti-corrosion device because I think it might prevent corrosion, and there was no service charge if I installed it that day. I don't know if I wasted $88 or not. I do know that I felt a little pressured to buy something. If the sales talk was stopped as soon as I said not interested, I would have given Cool Today an A+

I have used them twice. I thought they were really good. He wore big fuzzy slippers over his shoes when he came in the house. They came when they said they would. I signed a yearly contract with them and get discounts when they come out. They give you a brochure of what is covered.

It was very good. They do what they say they will, when they say they'll do it. The people are very friendly and responsive. They do good work.

Since I needed to meet the technician at the site, I requested that he call 15 minutes before he thought he would arrive. He failed to call me to let me know he was coming. Meanwhile, I was putting off other work while waiting for him to call. (He did arrive withiin the time frame promised.) After waiting a half hour he called and asked me where I was. Later he noticed that he had missed the information on the work order instructing him to call me. Still, the technician was a pleasant, nice guy. However, I wish I had read beyond the stellar rating and positive feedback statements. My experience reflected some of what the more negative feedback statements have said about the attempt to upsale the work to be done. (We're talking casually about thousands of dollars of work!!) It's not that I don't want to hear bad news, but I need to understand it and what the options are. (See below.) I learned my lesson. I will read all the feedback in the future. Eventhough a company has an "A" rating overall, some of the negative reviews I read after-the-fact would have sent me in another direction. Soon after this service call I used another Angie's list AC contractor on a repair call at a different location, and I will use them in the future. The difference for me is that they gave me the diagnosis, repair options, time frame for the likely survival of the AC unit so I could make an informed decision on what made sense to do.

I obtained three prices to replace my air conditioner/heat pump. All were within 500 of each other. Cool Today was the least expensive. The manufacturer choosen was a Carrier. It was the largest unit and most efficient. The external heat pump, heat exchanger and the blower were replaced. All duct work associated with the replacement was also replaced. All work was done in the most professional manner. The price included Florida and manufacturer rebates. Also included in the price was a programmable thermostat and a high efficiency Aprilaire filter. The bids were all on the same equipment. I carefully researched the equipment before obtaining prices. When completed, the unit is so quiet that there is no noise that can be heard from it. The older unit (8 years old) was quite loud.The installation was great. The contractor returned in about 4 weeks to check the installation and to determine if there were any problems. They made a few minor adjustments but everything was operating great.

This company was a great deal compared to anyone I had used in the past. The man that came out was very professional and courteous. I was very pleased with everything.

N&M gave me a good price for replacing my 13 year old system. The salesman, Rick, was very good to work with. Installers were good and professional. However, they did not clean up after themselves in the attic. Maybe they forgot. Otherwise, good job.

We purchased an air-conditioner last year. They came for installation services and an inspection was done. They were fantastic.

Service person was punctual, friendly, and competant. Service call was prompt and thorough.

I have been using them for eight years. They come out twice a year according to my contract. They are here quickly. The workers put their booties on. Their service is very friendly and efficient. Their price is very good. They bend over backwards to accommodate everyone. I have been very happy with them.

Duct work upstairs in the attic had mold problems. They came out put in all new duct work. They cleaned my air handler. They were very professional. Later on whe,n I had questions, they answered them and came out to look into those questions.

When I called N&M to schedule an appointment and to sign up for the maintenance plan I also asked for someone to come by who could discuss the installation of an attic fan. The person I spoke with was able to get me an appointment that afternoon with an AC technician, but called back to say that the attic fan questions would be handled by the electrician who was scheduled for the following day. With the Premium maintenance package you get a once a year plumbing and electrical inspection included. The AC technician called as he was on the way and arrived on time. I believe he did all the services but during his visit he constantly tried to sell me some add-on services and devices. I did buy a Corrosion Grenade which he said would reduce corrosion to the compressor unit (time will tell.) If I had it to do again I would not have purchased this device for $88 (installed) as I could have bought online for $17.25 and installed it myself with two screws. He did not inspect the duct system. He did give me good advice on adding a portable unit for the garage which his company did not sell. The next day I had visits from the N&M electrician and plumber. The electrician also found lots problems and tried to sell me upgrades. He belittled the whole house surge protector that I had installed in January and warned me that my grounding rod was ?probably? faulty since it was just a piece of re-bar and with that surge protector I bought my house is probably not protected. He knew nothing about attic fans; in fact my online research was superior to his knowledge. He had no data about how an attic fan could reduce my bills or make the system more efficient. He said they make solar powered ones with thermostats. He also did not go into the attic to inspect the duct system or the existing attic ventilation system. So much for my interest in an attic fan. If the plumber had his way, he would have probably removed the entire existing plumbing system and replaced it. Everything was too old for him to even touch. The water heater is from 1992, so he was afraid to flush and drain it for fear of causing problems. The faucet aerators were, in his opinion, so corroded he didn?t want to put a wrench on them because he would probably destroy the faucets. (The maintenance agreement says that all faucet aerators would be replaced,) I, personally, had just replaced the valve and flapper in one of the toilets and of course I picked the wrong one ? cheap and unreliable. I had also replaced the valve and flapper in the other toilet about six months ago. (Same criticism.) He said this one was ?double flushing? but ?in these old houses (27 years) I prefer to send more water down the pipes, so that is OK.? No offer to replace a flapper, as stated in the agreement. He hand-tightened the supply line to the toilet and re-installed a pop-up on the lav, two things I pointed out to him and requested that he do. He asked if I liked these old toilets because he had some on his truck that are far superior. He said he would try to fix a leaking outside hose bib, but, of course, it could break and he would have to charge me $129 to replace it. (No thanks.) He asked if I had a backflow valve - they provide a free certification - but I said I didn't know and he said I probably didn't, so he didn't inspect or certify the backflow valve I found later that week. Then came his big sales pitch. The Scale Blaster and new water heater. In his opinion I was foolish to just wait around until this water heater failed. So at the end of the day I realized that what I really bought when I paid for the Premium Plan was access by N&M to come to my house and try to sell me products after inspecting my systems and finding them faulty. I wrote a letter to N&M owner Mr. Jaime DiDomenico three days later and never heard from him. I called N&M last week and emailed the letter again and was told I would hear from Mr. DiDomenico by the end of the day and never did. N&M received awards from Angie's List from 2008 through 2010 which amazes me.

The installation of the air conditioner went fine. Incredibly expensive as I am learning now, but they did a good job on it. The replacement of the air ducts however was a sloppy, inconsiderate job. The electrical work I had requested which they had priced out at over EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS I ultimately had completed for $615.00, including permit fee. I wanted to separate my microwave from my coffee pot so that they could be used at the same time as I was tired of tripping circuit breakers. I was aghast at N&M's pricing! Their entire electrical department (which consists of a total of three men) had me convinced my house would shoot up in flames at any moment and only by paying them $8,006.00 would I live to see another day. Since I had already paid the company $7,990.00 when my AC unit stopped working, I was not really in a position to lay out $16,000.00 in one week. I called a number of other companies for estimates, even telling them to make a thorough and complete check of what needed to be done. NO OTHER COMPANY even came remotely close to what N&M wanted to charge me. I am STILL aghast at the gouging I nearly had, and by what I most likely overpaid on the air conditioning work by them. One other important criticism: when they replaced my 6" air ducts with 8" air ducts, they apparently ran the new ducts in such a way as to completely block access from one side of my attic to the other!! When the electrician attempted to run a new line through my attic, there was no way to get from point A to point B. Thanks to the shoddy, "hidden" work by N&M, my new electric company had to invest FOUR ADDITIONAL HOURS to finish the job, and did not add a single penny to my invoice - just a note that they were NOT charging me for the additional time. Even if they had, they could not have even come CLOSE to N&M's astronomical EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS!!

They come every six months to check my heat pump. I'm under a warranty with them. It's two-year parts and no charge for freon. He spent a lot of time on it, and he cleaned it all up and fixed the leak. My overall experience with them was excellent. I have no complaints about the people that come to do the work. They're very nice and personable. They put things on their feet, and don't dirty up the house. I feel their prices are expensive.

This company responded quickly and performed a good job. However I believe their pricing was way too high. They identified and fixed the problem within 30 minutes of arriving and were gone within 45 minutes. For this we were charged $250. They charged $89 to come to my house, then $161 to fix the problem. As good as they are I will never call them again. There are too many other capable HVAC companies out there that will charge less. Additionally they added $169 to my bill (making a grand total of $369) for a yearly service agreement which was never discussed. I disputed that and they quickly took it off. Howver I wonder how many other people make the purchase without knowing. Sorry for this review because your guy did do a good job and he did it quickly.

Everything went well, but it seemed like they were always trying to upsell when it came to supplies and materials.
