Technician Jeremy arrived on time, worked diligently on the problem, obtained replacement motor from nearby Lennox warehouse, and completed the job in about an hour. We were very grateful to have our AC restored after spending a sleepless night in 84-degree temps and high humidity. The breakdown was unusual for such a new system (installed only about four months ago), but Cool Today was responsive and effective in solving the problem. All service and repair were prepared under warranty at no cost to us as homeowners.

The serviceman was very professional and highly knowledgeable in the plumbing field. He performed a point to point plumbing inspection. As a new homeowner, he took the time to answer all my questions. He provided the maximum in customer service. He listened actively to what I was saying. As a senior, I noticed the serviceman has a high degree of cost consciousness and did not recommend unnecessary expenditures. I give this company a deserved 5 star rating and strongly recommend them to prospective customers.

Cool Today came out a few hours after our call and came back the next day to replace blower motor. Very knowledgeable and professional techs. We have a service and parts contract, so there were no charges.

The tech took about 10 minites to verify that our garbage disposal was defective and needing replacement. He then discussed the choices we had and we chose one. He quoted a total price of $472. We thought the price was high but the tech was there and so we gave him approval to install new unit. His work was very good and the new disposal works fine but I checked the retail price of the disposal and found it to be around $200. In total the tech spent less than 90 minutes in our home. I sent a message to the company’s customer service complaining that I thought the price was too high and requested that they respond. They have not responded.

AS BAD AS POSSIBLE! I received "form email message" and never was contacted by Cool Energy; so I called them---in Sarasota! I'm in Lutz---way far away. Person answering phone had no record of me or any Angie's List info. I need to drain excess water away from sidewalk and house from rain gutters and land grade. WHICH WAS ON ANGIE'S LIST request from me. The woman simply said they don't do french drains---when my rain water problem might be solved many different ways. BUT NOT WITH COOL. I don't like dealing with big companies with lots of employees---especially those 100 miles away. Never use sub contractors----prefer smaller local companies where I deal with owner directly. So....the $250 coupon for "New Drainage System Installation or Repair" does not exist---very poor customer service. And definitely "NOT COOL!"

Amy was punctual and professional. She did our semi annual service , gave me the report, offered available upgrades and I renewed our service agreement again

As usual Amy did her job, doesn’t take any short cuts when doing the maintenance and is very honest how things were with the unit She always goes above and beyond and very personable.

This is the second time Cool Today called and canceled an appointment. They always use the same excuse. It's the hottest day so far and many people don't have working air conditioning. In my opinion, if they wanted to keep the customers with a service agreement, Cool Today would keep the scheduled appointments and have more technicians called in to fix emergency calls. I will not recommend Cool Today to anyone. I have paid for a service agreement and they have my money, so they are going to other jobs for more profit. They did reschedule, but tried to make the appointment two weeks away.

Tom was diligent, professional, and informative. I would definitely call Cool Energy in the future.

REPAIRED THE PROBLEM MYSELF SO I DID NOT USE THEM. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND RESPONSIVE AND I WOULD GIVE THEM A SHOT AGAIN IN THE FUTURE.

Our contract with Cool Today involves regular inspections and upkeep. There was an additional product installed. A coupon that had been sent us by Cool Today staff paid for the additional part and service. We are always reminded of our upcoming appointment, called before the technician arrives, given a full explanation concerning our a/c unit and followup contact from the company concerning the service. The administration and staff have always been fair with us since the 80's.

Went well except the new thermostat did not cover the footprint of the old thermostat. They left me with two holes in my wall. They could have spackled the holes or used a cover plate.

They came out and determined that the pump was bad. In the couple of days they sent out 2 great repair men to replace the pump and motor. We have used them in the past to replace a toilet and water tank. They are very punctual and know what they are other doing. They also cleaned up afterwards and left our home as nothing happened. We also have them on annual A/C contract and every 6 months they check out the units. We had other service contactors and did not live up to standards as Cool Today A/C and Plumbing. Supply line to the toilet was leaking. Anthony replaced the line and installed new parts inside the toilet. He had me inspect his work and made sure I was completely satisfied. I have used Cool Today for over twenty years and their Plumbing services are just as reliable and professional as their air conditioning services.
