BYRNE TERMITE & PEST CONTROL

I found them on Angies list. Joe was polite and prompt. Hes the owner, not a sales guy more focussed on selling other services than addressing the immediate issue. He assessed the situation, told me what needed to be done, and told me the price with a guarantee. Thats all we wanted, was the problem fixed. We have pets so he took the cautions to put our minds at ease and took his time vs the fly in and fly out approach. Last night was the first night in a week with no issues. We hope it continues and should have called him in the first place instead of wasting far more time and money on stuff from our local box store. We will refer him to any others we know that need pest control.

Since we have used them we have not had any problems, and no bugs inside. Joe and his sons are always friendly, professional, and always reachable to answer and concerns. My dogs never have fleas or ticks and my yard and lawn has not had the problems with with pests. Joe only handles pest control they do not do lawn care. When I did use lawn services, i.e. True Green, I always had trouble with c**** bugs and other lawn pests, not to mention the poor job they did with the lawn. I will continue their services to our new home so we have the same lack of pest problems.

The first time the technician came into our home, I was comfortable. As a parent, I was very concerned about the toxicity of his products. He explained he uses the same products in his home, around his children and pets. I loved the fact there were no odors, and he eliminated a small pest problem immediately. Now they come year round. Very friendly and professional. I would never use a large chain company after having service with Byrne.

They did a great job. They are great people and I really liked them. They were on time and very professional.

The pre-work experience was excellent. We were able to reach Joe very easily and get something scheduled the following day. He showed up right in the middle of the time window in which he said he would and got straight to work. He and his assistant were finished in just under an hour, treating the entire outside perimeter and select locations inside the house. Unfortunately, it took a second treatment to see results, but I don't blame him because ghost ants are notoriously difficult to eradicate. What was encouraging was his attitude. He took ownership of the job, and even seemed to take it as a personal vendetta against the critters. It's a great attitude to see from a service provider, and made us confident that he'd make sure the job got done right. On the second treatment, he used a different product that was more effective and sprayed inside the wall cavities through the electrical plates where we were seeing them come through. It's now been 2 weeks since the second treatment and we really haven't seen any further problems (other than finding a bunch of them huddling under a rug unable to figure out how to get back out). He also has some continuing quarterly maintenance plans that we might take advantage of to ensure they don't come back. And the cost of treatment was good, and even included a coupon for Angie's List members. Overall, this was exactly what we expected from a top-rated Angie's List service provider, and we wouldn't hesitate recommending his company to anyone in the area having pest problems.

Arrived and got to work right away. The technician started working on the outside of the house and Joe the owner sprayed the inside of the home. They were very thorough. Even after I paid and they were putting things back in the truck, I saw Joe checking some areas outside my home. Very professional.

EXCELLENT JOB!!!! After previously having Terminix here a total of 3 times in a month and still having ants, I decided to look for somebody else on Angie's List. I'm glad I found BYRNE.......They came out the next day and did a very thorough job. There was 2 people and the spent over an hour here. The son of the owner did the interior portion of the job. He was very, nice, professional, and personable. He did a great job of explaining the process. For the first week, we found a lot of dead ants in the bathtubs and toilet bowls, just like he said we would, and after that we have been totally any free. They did a GREAT job and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anybody and everybody. Based on the size of my house, the initial treatment was $150. I have also hired them to do quarterly treatments from now on which are going to be $95 each time. I am very pleased with the results and would never consider using Terminix or any other "big box" chain for me pest control again.

They were excellent, punctual, and reasonable. During the inspection he was very professional.

Originally I just wanted a single visit, but I was so impressed that I have odered annual service on a quarterly basis.

I found them on Angie's List. Byrne's is a stellar service! I have never had better service from any company that I can think of, ever. They are fabulous! I will definitely continue to use them.

They use a Termadore treatment and not the bait stations. They go around the perimeter of the house and dig a little bit down to spray. They also did the same thing around our garage and the cracks between the cement in the floors and just outside the garage. They were punctual and professional. I had a lot of questions and concerns and they were very patient and answered all of my questions. I asked the gentleman that came out for advice on other areas and he provided good ideas for me.

The service was professionally done, tech was very informative answered all questions in detail.

I would recommend this company to all my friends and family. In fact I already have. Will definitely use them again. Prompt courteous, but most of all thorough in and out. Took his time, used the best product on the market and was not cheap about the amount.

Overall, it was an excellent experience. Very pleasant and professional. Licenced to use the most effective chemicals. Alway answers the phone himself and comes the next day-very important when removing dead critters and resetting the inside traps. He performed a complete inspection and set the traps, then sprayed the eaves for wasps. The first two weeks he came back four times to remove mice and reset traps, and we have been mice-free for over two weeks.

"Joe" arrived at the appointed time, was friendly and professional. He performed the inspection and necessary preventative treatment and gave us the senior discount for the contract. We were very pleased with our initial contact with this company.

They are all right. They are friendly and easy to reach. We are paying $360 for the year. We would continue to use them in the future.

Joe and his son both help to destroy a large hornet nest in my back yard. Joe came out right away and made several trips to make sure the job was done right. Thank goodness for Joe; he made it safe for me to go in my back yard again. I've used Joe for 10 years on termite control with great success too. He is very kind and very thorough.

I own a very small building (924 Sq.Ft.) I noticed termites swarming and called Mr. Joe Byrne on 6/2/10. He was very polite and said he could come out and give me an estimate the next day. He asked me where I got his name from. I told him that I had found him on the computer. A man came out the next day as scheduled. (He said he was Joe's son) He was there about 15 min. He quoted me a price of $1,000.00 for the initial treatment. I told him that I was shocked that it was so much. He then said that he could,"probably go down to $850.00 or even $800.00." I told him that I would have to get some more estimates as that seemed very high to me. On 6/8/10, I asked my administrative asst. to call some termite companies to get some more estimates. She called Mr. Byrne's company again, as they are first on Angie's List and she did not realize that I had already called them. She left a message and Mr. Byrne called back within five minutes. He clarified our address with her and then said, " We were out there last week and the lady wanted it done for $100.00. We don't work that cheap. Tell her to call Joe s*** man, rag man." He then hung up the telephone. I am appalled at this behavior. I would strongly suggest that people do as I did, and not initially offer information about getting the company info. from Angie's List. This way you may, as I did get a clearer indication of the owner's character.

Overall it went well, but I asked him about some other type of bug in the house and I felt that he kind of blew my questions off.

Joe Byrne showed up on time as promised. Went through my house very thoroughly from top to bottom. Got a detailed report that same day. Great guy and great small business to deal with. Prices are great. Thank you!

Highly recommended! We got excellent service and response from the Byrnes. They scheduled next day appointment, made thorough inspection of the property (older frame house), and provided options for treatment (including concern for our pets and neighbors'). Joe is very knowleable and took time to explain the process. Treatment services were scheduled quickly and results so far are good. We decided to have quarterly service contract because of positive experience with this company.

Roofers told me I had termites and said they would keep roof area open for termite treatment for a few hours if I could get a termite guy to come out. I called Joe Byrne who was extremely patient and informative. After a discussion with roofers about what the termite looked like (that discussion was worth the price all by itself), Joe said that treatment of roof area was not necessary; that I had subterrean termites and needed to treat the ground to kill the termites. He came out that afternoon and made a super thorough inspection of the house and ground to confirm type of termite and where located. Made appointment to come back next day and treat the house. Showed up promptly and got right to work. The holes in concrete and trenches were evidence of the thoroughness of the treatment (as far as I could tell). He also treated the sign posts out front. He said he would come back after the closet (which had water and termite damage) was opened up and treat the wood there if evidence of active termites was found. Both Joe and his son are polite, professional, prompt, and understanding.

I had a small tree near my house that died last winter, and when I went to pull it up I noticed insects that looked like termites on the roots and up in the stem. I checked Angies list for a contractor and chose a couple to come take a look. Byrne's really impressed me - They came out the same day I called, and answered all my questions very thoroughly and patiently. They started work the next day and were very prompt. They made sure I was satisfied and that all my questions were answered before they left.

They were careful to go through and they cleaned everything. We saw some spiders and the other technician came out. He said that they are normal spiders and there wasn't a lot that they could do. Everything went well. They were thorough and explained everything that they were going to do. They worked around my schedule and they were willing to do that. They were very professional.
