Brownie's Septic and Plumbing

Called and made an appointment. When the day came, I received a phone call early in the morning 7:40 that they would not be able to make it that day. So it was rescheduled for the following day. The following day I received another phone call 8:40, they have another emergency, sorry can't come. How irritating. Very unreliable.

Got the sink in my kitchen snaked after it go clogged. Plumber was very nice and helpful. Finished and cleaned up relatively quickly.

Excellent - the 2 problems were probably not related. Both techs did an efficient job, cleaned up afterward

Because of two commercial jobs they were delayed. They were very professional and friendly. I would definitely use them again. Good job to Jorge and Victor. A call to inform us of delay would have been appreciated.

He identified, had the part, and fixed our drain in the sink. We are Happy Campers and would hire him again.

The plumber did a great job. Would definitely hire again. This is the only company I could find on Angie's list that actually responded!

Everything was great! From the prompt phone message left first thing in the morning, to the person answering the phone to schedule the service, to the technician. Around midnight I heard a leak through the wall in my guest bathroom. The water heater is in the garage on the other side of the wall but I didn't see any water damage. I requested quotes from several companies on Angie's List and they were the first to respond at 8:30am the next morning. The tech Luis did a great job, was very professional and friendly, and gave us options and throughly explained what they were. It ended up being a pin-sized leak in a cooper pipe from the water heater and we chose to get a 'band-aid' fix with a clamp and will hope it does the trick. The next option would be a re-pipe to replace the cooper and would be much more expensive. It ended up just costing the amount of the service fee. I would definitely use Brownie's again!

I called over the weekend to have a kitchen faucet replaced that was leaking. Upon taking my call the service provider stated that someone would call me on Monday to make my appointment. Monday morning someone from the office calls and we set up an afternoon appointment. So far so good. Fast forward, and it is getting close to five o clock and my wife mentions that no one from the plumber has called or stopped by for the installation. I call the office and the office claimed that someone reached out to me and called me earlier in the day to set up the appointment but couldn't get me. The only issue was that no one called. I had no record on my phone of a missed call, no voice messages, nothing nada, zilch. The beautiful thing about cell phones is that you can tell all of these things so that there is no issue about what has or has not been done and I knew definitely that I hadn't missed a call. Likewise, nothing was wrong with my phone as I was able to receive calls from their office. Go figure. Anyhow, I call the office again and tell them this and they still insist that their technician called and that as soon as I get off the phone with them their technician will call me back. I get off the phone, and await the call. 1 minute passes, 2 then five sitll no call. And then I call the office back and tell the office that my wife is home and the technician can just go and get the tap installed. When they seem hesitant to do this, I say, look just give me the technician's number so that I can call him. They didn't want to do this, but fortunately, they have the wherewithal to transfer me to the technician who is in his car. At this point, when I get the technician he already has two emergency calls for the day and said they will have to charge me the emergency rate to install the faucets. He explains that someone gave him the wrong number and that's why the calls were not going through. Unfortunately, at this point, no one in the office is trying to save me the emergency fee to install the faucet even though it is not my fault that they gave their guy the wrong number. Sure it was a simple human mistake, but still, I shouldn't have to pay for this. Frustrated by the whole process, I canceled an appointment I'd made the next morning and decided to go with another company. I will never go with this outfit again, as I don't like being accused of lying to an operator when I tell them that I never received a call from their technician and I'm not saying they should have bent over backwards to fit us in, but c'mon a little effort would have been nice. I hope your experience is better than mine.

At first the Plummer couldn’t locate the septic tank, but eventually he did. He did a good job.

The tech showed up on time, answered our questions, didn't try to upsell us on services, and was very efficient and professional.

This company did not up sell me. They replaced what was needed. Super company !!!!

How did it go? It didn't. I called to schedule an appointment and was told a manager would call me back within 30 minutes. I never got a call back. I think when I told them I was a return customer who had already had a complete septic system installed by them it was a mistake....they didn't see the chance for an up sell and big bucks, so why bother? Got a bust number calling back- so I called a local company in Oviedo who showed up ASAP and charged $75.00 less than Brownies....bye bye...

Called the number via the Angie's List app and connected to someone who took my info and description of our situation. Was told that I would get a call back from a manager shortly and sure enough maybe 5-10 minutes I had a call. Talked to a manager about my situation and he mentioned that they could come out in the morning. Asked if they had any trucks out that evening and said unfortunately they did not. Was a little disappointed since I thought they could pump at all hours, but technically we didn't have an emergency since I was able to catch it before anything backed up into the house (praise God). He did recommend opening up the Clea out drain overnight to prevent any backups into the house which was a great idea. Driver called the next morning about an hour out and could not have been more friendly and professional. Also gave us tips on things we could do ourselves and recommended we think about calling someone out every three years or so. Ended up being a little more than I expected but was very happy to have the problem resolved and the cost also included a cleaning of our tank filter, which I requested.

Avoid this company at all possible costs. I have videos, pictures, and email records to back all of the following claims. My significant other and I hired Brownie’s Septic and Plumbing to adjust the plumbing under our new kitchen sink as well as install new bathroom faucets. When the plumber initially came out for a quote, Thursday, he came to see what parts would be necessary to complete the job. Him and my significant other had a detailed conversation about how a specific part would be needed to mount the garbage disposal to the sink. Come Friday, I was present when the work began. When the plumber got to the kitchen sink I hear him start to huff and puff, very obviously trying to indirectly get my attention. I go over to see what’s wrong, we have literally the exact same conversation about the same missing piece that was previously discussed with my significant other the day before. Why is this the second time this conversation is being held? Why are you acting like this is the first time you’re seeing this? No doubt an attempt to lengthen the span of the project and drive up the cost. A flexible slip-joint pipe was used underneath the kitchen sink leading out of the garbage disposal, this is not to code as confirmed by a former maintenance supervisor for the city of Orlando. It is also very obviously not to code as every couple of weeks the pipe fails, water and food scraps come gushing out of the cabinet below the sink. Moving on to the bathroom faucets, all three were installed despite them being completely unusable. Water was literally shooting beyond the edge of the countertop onto the floor. These faucets could not be used or returned, because the plumber had made the decision to throw the boxes for them in the trash without my approval, putting us out around $150. This is a new construction property with multiple large dumpsters on site, being able to located the boxes was not possible. A quoted 2.5 hour job turned into a 4 day ordeal with work that is not to code. Staff is rude and combative when discussing scheduling and payment.

Took off work for an appointment between 8am and 12noon. At 10 am called to verify I was on the schedule. Yes I was and they would be there by 12. At 12:30 I called sorry we are running late. I had to leave so a neighor came over. They showed up at 1:30. No calls no nothing. Again I called to complain. Sorry sir I will have a manager call. No one called. Next day I received a collection call. I will pay when the manager calls. The manager was on the phone in 10 seconds. This family company has out grown itself. Find a different company

Amazing people! From the sales department to the front desk personnel to the workers that came to our house, we experienced extreme professionalism.

I talked to an employee named Tracey who was very helpful. The only reason I did not hire was because my aunt was in town and her companion performed the work.

The service tech was nice but the best part was speaking with Tracey, She was polite and answer all my questions.

First off I would like to thank Tracy Peterson for preparing me to make my decision easy and choose the right company I was having problems for a long time I'm very satisfied

Brownie was their within the hour. I spoke to Tracy, she was the best customer service I ever spoke to. Professional, clear, and I felt so comfortable talking to her. She explained everything. I will use Brownie’s Septic again.
