Borborema Stone, also known as Real Brick Pavers, replaced my next-door neighbor?s driveway. During the process of removing the existing driveway, Borborema pulled back my lawn to excavate large tree roots. The weight of the Bobcat front loader, along with the excavation process, broke sprinkler pipes and fittings in my front lawn, and damaged the grading of my lawn. The neighbor who was having the work done kindly notified me of the problem, as he first noticed that my front sprinklers were no longer popping up and that a large pool of water was appearing next to his new driveway. He handed me Kessley Borborema?s business card and told me he had already informed Kessley of the issue, and that I should contact him directly to resolve the matter. I have my own go-to sprinkler guy that I know and trust (Mike Miller), and my neighborhood has an HOA that can be quick to point out when a lawn is in need of attention, so I didn?t waste any time. I had Mike Miller come fix the broken pipes and fittings, which came out to $120. Meanwhile, on July 22nd I called Kessley?s number to discuss the matter. He did not answer when I first called, so I sent him an email explaining the issue and that I had someone out to repair the damage. We eventually connected and he wanted to send one of his guys to come fix the problem. I explained that I had already paid someone to repair the problem and I was only seeking reimbursement for that repair (never mind the damage done to the grass and soil that was torn up and pushed/piled up here and there during the driveway removal.) Although it took longer than expected, ultimately, Kessley Borborema did reimburse me for the damages incurred to my property.
