Description of Work: I was told by the guys that are putting my hard wood floors down that I had a leak some where in the walls because i had to much Moisture near my dining area I called BENJAMIN FRANKLIN PLUMBING and they came out the next day detecting not a thing they even cut out holes in my walls and nothing the man was very nice It was a leak that was fixed before I bought the home and because the moisture was traped under the carpet it stood needed sometome to dry up I would use them again The down side they dont patch your walls up.

Description of Work: I had an emergency at a rental property. They were the only service (I called 3) that took the time to understand the extent of the emergency and they came out within 3 hours of the initial call. In the event that I ever have another plumbing emergency, they will be the first I call.

Description of Work: Absolute rip-off! Had a water heater putting out luke warm water. The estimator wrote a laundry list of things that needed to be replaced, amongst which was "replace dip tube" at $275. Total bill would be over $900 for repairs! He recommended to replace the water heater at a cost of around $1200. Just a regular water heater! I called the manufacturer and they said to replace the dip tube, which I did at a cost of under $5, and it took less than 5 minutes. Several months later and all is still fine. Like I said - total rip off!

+ -1 moreI liked the fact that they came out promptly and they gave a written estimate before they started. After giving an estimate the work kept changing and price kept building up. They initially charged $200 and they came out, they broke a turn off switch outside themselves and charged me an addition $200 for that. They fixed everything properly, everything worked. In the end there was more done than what was needed to be done and their pricing was outrageous. I would not recommend them or use them in the future.
Description of Work: I have used Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. They replaced the kitchen faucet for me.

+ 2 moreAs usual Joel arrived as planned and completed the job as expected. Joel is professional and personable, and always take the time to explain, answer our questions, and show us as much about what happened as possible.
Description of Work: This was my third service with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. This time Joel had to remove a HUGE tree root that was clogging our sewer line...UNDER the utility room, which required removal of floor covering and jack hammering the foundation.

+ 0 moreThey showed up on time, they had charged me $199 which was higher than the originally quoted price. The shower was unclogged in a timely fashion and the work was good. I was initially happy with the service, but unhappy they overcharged me. They however later called me to discuss my complaints and refunded me the difference. I was happy with the customer service.

+ -1 moredo call them again. They were punctual, courteous, and very competent. A little pricey but well worth it.
Description of Work: The city Celebration did some work on the ain line and connection to our house and damaged the water softener, sending resin and gravel into the house's water lines and reducing water pressure and stopping up fixtures. It was not an emergency and Roger of Benjamin Franklin Plumbing came out within 3 days and spent most of the day fixing eveything: flushing the water heater, installing new innards in all toilets, flushing out water facets, replacing corroded supply lines and shut off valves that were damaged. They gave us an automatic discount and coupons for the next visit if needed within 12 months.

Everything went perfect. The technician/plumber was exceptional. The price was lower than my other estimates. I will use them again. .
