BCI GARAGE DOOR

The replacement of the garage door rails went fine; however, the trim job around the garage door was so bad that we had to hire another contractor to remove the moldings that BCI installed, and and replace them. Prior to starting the job, Ivan from BCI informed us that he could not obtain the correct width trim, so there would be a small 3/8 inch gap which could be caulked and painted. When we inspected the job following BCI's work, we discovered that the gap was far larger than 3/8 inch; it was actually between 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch, crooked, and unable to be caulked. Additionlly, BCI cut and spliced the wiring to the garage door safety switches without using the proper electrical connectors (wires were simply twisted together and taped) or being fastened to the walls (they were rolled up in a ball. We hired still another contractor to correct the garage door wiring.
