ASP - America's Swimming Pool Co Clermont

Spoke with them in June. They sent me a contract to fill out. I spoke with them on June 28, and was told if I would return the contract right away, they would get me on the schedule for Monday (July 1). They did not come Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. I tried several times to call, and left voicemail twice, but did not get a reply. Sent e-mail on Thursday saying the pool was turning green, and needed attention. On Monday, July 10 (6 days later) I received a reply to the e-mail from Amanda who said the technician would be there that day. I called the office and was told they algae was so bad (after 10 days of no service in July heat!) that they had to get stronger chemicals and would return the next day. Offered to send me before and after pictures, since I do not live at the property. It has now been treated twice (supposed to be weekly service), and the technician has recommended a special treatment, for which I should not be expected to pay, since the problem is a result of no service calls. I have now received a bill with "balance due" from July plus August's fee - when I sent the contract, I included the account information for the ASP auto-pay... I have tried repeatedly to call and received no reply. When I have actually spoken to a person, they have not done what they said they would. This company received many good ratings in the past, but none recently when checking ratings. The company used to be based in Clermont, but apparently has been purchased by the Orlando owner. Not sure if this is the problem, but I just called and cancelled after only one month.
