The work was performed quickly and the tech arrived on time.

The tech was wonderful. He arrived on time and with all necessary parts to replace/repair the lock. He repaired it quickly and the very little dust he generated he cleaned up quickly even though I told him I would vacuum it. He made extra keys, also. Super nice man. We really enjoyed talking with him.

Absolutely amazing! Key removed at the company counter, received instructions on how to prevent a recurrence, and instructed on how to reassemble the lock in the door.

Though they don't have hardware on truck and installed a set I had purchased elsewhere, they also corrected a previous problem and the door lock works better that it has in the last 30 years.

They showed up on time and completed the work very efficiently. There were problems with one lock and they didn't charge us for that. We did have an issue with two locks about 2 weeks later that stopped functioning. We replaced them with new ones from Lowe's that each cost about as much as the re-keying cost. In general good work but would likely just buy new locks in the future for cost reasons.

Super. Ian went way and above expectations. He had to do some chiseling to make bolt go in and out smoothly and cleaned up the shavings. He is a patient man who takes the time to do the job as close to perfection as possible.

I really appreciate the service that Armstrong Locksmith provided. Robert Mott (Armstrong Locksmith tech) was very knowledgeable concerning the proper length for the deadbolt to have to be able to fully extend so that it will secure properly and not hang up the front door. He advised and corrected this problem as well as changing out a latch plate where a strike plate should have been placed on my door frame for the dead bolt. He was quite skillful in using a chisel to create enough proper space for the deadbolt to function without hanging up the door so it could not open properly. If someone had used a power drill to go deeper to provide additional depth for the deadbolt it would have gone through the narrow wood area that my door frame has due to the small windows on the right side of the door frame. It is amazing to me that when my current door handle set and dead bolt were installed that a strike plate was not correctly used for the dead bolt and that the proper length for the dead bolt within the door frame was not done correctly. I must say hats off to Robert Mott as he is a very skillful and knowledgeable technician. I will use Armstrong Locksmith again!

Robert was wonderful. We called Friday to schedule service, and Robert came out right on time on Saturday. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and did a great job. Robert and Armstrong Locks get an A rating regarding quality, promptness, and friendliness of service. The reason for the B rating regarding the price is that the Angie's List deal is $65 "buy it now" for a locksmith service call. That's their regular charge. We didn't buy the Angie's List deal for $65, because when we called and asked how much they charge, $65 is how much they charge everyone, whether you are Angie's List or not. It was then $15 per lock to get the locks rekeyed, which all seems to be a fair and comparable price from what we can tell. So, our feedback may be for Angie's List rather than Armstrong Locks, in that an Angie's List deal that someone purchases from Angie's List rather than from the vendor should actually be a deal rather than regular price.

My house was robbed this morning and my house keys were stolen. Called the provider around 3 PM to have the house re-keyed. Was told someone would be here by 7:30. Technician showed up at 7, was upset about the number of locks that needed to be done (no one asked when I called), and removed all the locks. About 30 minutes later, he came back in the house and said he had to leave for a family emergency and replaced all the locks. So now it is 8 PM on Friday night and my house keys are in the hands of a thief and the locksmith did exactly nothing but waste 5 hours of my time. UPDATE: I promised I would update this review with the rest of the story. I have also changed my rating. After hearing about the above, Kevin Armstrong went out of his way to make things right. While nothing can change what happened the first go around, I have to say that Armstrong takes care of its customers. To say that I am impressed by how "the situation" was handled would be an understatement. There are very few companies that "walk the walk" of customer service.

Fantastic service. I called at 3:30 pm and they were out within an hour and a half, even though I said it could wait until the next day. The gentleman was professional, friendly, and very fast. I highly recommend this locksmith company, Armstrong Locksmith and Security. We will definitely use them again if we need a locksmith.

We were having trouble with our front lock. He didn't have to replace it he just fixed it. I would tell people he was fine, he did his job, and left in a timely manner. He did a standard job and that was fine.

We called Armstrong Lock & Security to rekey our entire house (9 locks) after our house keys and repaired two door handles. Ian Martin was our technician. He was quick, thorough, thoughtful, knowledgable and professional. We appreciated the call before he arrived to give us a heads up on his timing and his timeliness.

They had a service provider out to me in a few hours. Robert was very quick and did exactly what we needed. He was friendly and professional.
