Apex Pest Control - Orlando

Horrible!! The only thing I can say good about the company is that the service tech was on time and pleasant to talk to. Since then, it took me four times to get a receipt since I paid over the phone. Since the treatment,, the home owners have been in and the treatment did not take. i have called the company twice to voice my concerns. I was told in April that somebody would get back to me and no one did, I was told in May from Mark (Customer Service) that he would call me back and he didn't. I tried to call Mark today and the person who answered the phone said he wasn't in, i asked to be connected to his voice mail and was disconnected twice. I called back and amazingly enough Mark answered the phone. When i asked him to have his company back up their product he said he didn't have authority to do that and that i would have to speak with the Division Manager by the name of RUSS. Donna, the office manager made that happen and connected me to his cell phone. RUSS was rude and unapologetic for his companies services and only recommended that i spend more money and that a one time service was not guaranteed, and then he rudely interrupted me , wouldn't let me talk, and said i am about to spend several thousand dollars now (which didn't factor into our conversation at all and not sure why he said that), and hung up on me. THIS IS A COMPANY THAT DOESNT BACK UP THEIR SERVICE. I SPENT $225 FOR ONE TIME SERVICE AND FOR ALL I KNOW THEY COULD OF BEEN USING WATER. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

Hired them to treat my home after seeing some termite activity. Charlie showed up the next day and was very professional and friendly. Kurt came to do the treatment and was professional and friendly as well. Seemed to know his stuff, answered all my questions and took his time to make sure the job was done the right way. In this day and with this type of job you want to make sure the people you hire care about the job they're doing, and Kurt certainly gave me that impression. Not sure if my termite problem has been fixed as of yet, only time will tell. But so far the experience as a customer has been exceptional.

Apex supposedly sprayed all around and inside my home but my cockroach population did not change at all. When I have received this service from other companies in the past there is always a noticeable change in the problem but the job these lousy guys did did not kill a single cockroach. When I call and complain I get a bunch of confusing nonsense and no real answers or attempt to fix a job I payed like 200 dollars for. Then these people had the audacity to send me a christmas card. Like, 'wow thanks alot.'

We have used Apex for years, and they have always been responsive. It is usually the same person that comes out, Dave, and you can tell he is very invested in his work, and he knows his stuff!

It is an annual thing. I actually need to call them; I think they are due again. I an not say how long it takes them to do the job because I have never been here when they have done it. They just show up and do it on the perimeter of the house and leave.

Appex does not stand behind their product and are NOT professional in any manner. They killed 50% of my lawn and 30% of my shrubs. I had them come out and after battling back and forth for weeks they agreed to reimburse me for their terrible service that killed most of my yard and shrubs. Once I called them back to pick up the paperwork they gave me to fill out in order to receive my reimbursement check they backed out and never reimburse me as promised by 2 managers. I ended up replacing my dead sod thanks to Appex for $2500 and did not replace my shrubs.

No call / no show. I waited until 3:45 on the 19th in case the person from Apex was running late and then called the same number listed here that according to my phone I called on the 16th as well. When a lady answered she could find no entry about the problem and so no one was coming. Pathetic and sad and thanks for wasting my time. I will never, ever use these unprofessional people and will tell anyone that asks to use any service but these guys.

They came out and sprayed the yard on Friday. That night when I got home I went out in the back yard and walk around the yard and only got a few fleas got on me and the next morning about the same or maybe a little worst. Sunday I went out around noon and the fleas were and getting real bad again. Called them on Monday and the salesperson said they would come back out and respray. So they came out on Tuesday and sprayed again and that night just a few fleas got on me. Did not check the yard again till Saturday when my friends come over to help me clean up the back yard. Well we went out to the back yard to start and the fleas were so bad we could not do anything. Called the salesperson on Monday and all I could do is leave a message and went to work. Well he left me a message on my phone with a bunch of excuses why the fleas were not going away. Well I called him back 3 more times and never got a call back. Thursday I called the office and they said i should have been calling then and not the salesperson and then they say we will have the salesperson call you and kind of rude to me. Well I got a text with the same BS why the fleas were not going away from the sales person. So I text back fine I will find a company that can do the job right because your not. The next night when I got home and checked my bank account they had billed my account at the bank for the whole job. The salesperson had told me they would not bill me until they had gotten the flea under control. So now I an working on getting my money back. I did call another company and they sprayed and they sprayed once and no fleas for 4 day. On the 5th day found a few fleas had come back. I called them and they sprayed again and I have had no fleas pop up for over 20 days.

Everything was very professional, from the prompt answering of phone calls to scheduling and arrival at the scheduled times. Marshall's inspection was courteous and he answered all my questions about what exactly was to occur when they put down the protective barrier around the house. Kurt arrived at the scheduled day and time and did a thorough job exactly as described.

Everything went well as expected. Arrived as stated and sprayed entire unit. Positive outcome. Quick, couteous and reasonable

The tech has been very through, and courteous. They call ahead to let you know they are coming, and are prompt. Office personnel are very comfortable to speak with on the phone, and answer your questions with good attitudes in a very professional manner. I have a quarterly contract with them, and would recommend them to anyone.

Bruce came out to give me an estimate and wrote up the contract. When I called to hire them, I spoke with Pat who told me that she could not read the contract. Unfortunately, Bruce quoted different services on the same page (every month and every other month). Pat also tells me that the 20% off doesn't cover all services - either inside or outside, but not both. Fine, I decided to still go with them and I paid my indoor service in full to receive a 10% discount, so I at least got close to the other quotes I received. After speaking to Pat a few times, I learned that she spoke with Bruce, so I thought we had an understanding of the cost. When I received my first bill, I saw that they gave me a 10% discount instead of 20% discount. So, I called Pat to get it fixed. She said that she needed to speak to Bruce and the office manager to get that fixed and she would call me back the next day. She didn't call back, so I called Pat again. This went on for 3 months and over 20 calls. Pat would consistently say that she was waiting on either Bruce or the Office Manager to get back to her, and that was why she didn't ever call me back like she said she would. In one conversation, Pat tried to explain to me (a Math teacher) that 10% off the shrub service and 10% off of the lawn service is the same as 20% off of both services. It is now the middle of May. They finally allowed me to pay the amount that I truly owe, and not the one they have on their records. Even after explaining the cost to Pat numerous times, she would say that she understands and had to discuss it with her office manager, but then the next day she would ask for a different amount when I called to pay. I even requested to have a different representative handle my case because she clearly doesn't understand 20%, but she is the only person that handles my area, so I am stuck with her. I have requested to speak with the Office Manager myself and have never been permitted to. For the first 3 months I was very patient and cordial. Now, not so much. After 4 1/2 months of service, I have never gone a day without seeing little ants in my kitchen, my yard still has a lot of weeds and my grass and bushes have dead spots. I canceled the outdoor service and am in the process of hiring someone else. I can't cancel the indoor service because if I do, any discounts that I received are automatically taken off and I will be refunded just a minimal amount of what I paid. Go with someone else.

Good customer service and punctual.

We like the guy who comes. He's been the same to come out for 15 years and you can tell he knows his job and cares about it. They come by every other month. I think he's very reasonable. We've had very little problems. They are very good at coming out.

The whole brick area inside the screen enclosure was sprayed. Brian, the service technician, explained how long it would be before my pets could be allowed out, where the fleas were likely to coming from (the squirrels) and to make sure my pets had their anti-flea medication applied for the next three months. This service was provided at the time scheduled, was performed professionally by a friendly, knowledgeable technician. This is was what I have come to expect from Apex whenever they are on my property.

There was a misunderstanding with the service technician and the company could not continue to provide service. Larry was extremely helpful in giving me alternate service providers. Larry acted in a very professional way and I truly thank him for all his help and I am sure he realizes the misunderstanding.

Terrible since the company cannot send another technician and they only have one technician supposedly that can do the job yet does not want to do the job.

We have used Apex for termite contract since we bought our house in 2009. Then last year we had issues with rodents so we bought a contract for that plus added interior pest control. The rodent control worked well & we still use that service but since we have multiple pets as well as fish aquariums the really couldn't do a thorough job inside for insects. I cancelled the insect pest control because we still had about the same number of "strays" that wandered in from the outside so it was not worth the monthly fee for on that service. I think we just live in a very rural area & get a certain amount of pests coming in from outside and the really could not give a thorough treatment. But I would still recommend their services & am happy with the termite and rodent service.

The team at Apex did a super job! We got an on-site survey with very professional service. I liked the fact that they explain what needed to be done and how they were going to do it. They even came back without charge as a follow-up two weeks later. We are now loyal customers.

I live in NC but I have a small house in FL that is occupied by a family member. My brother met with several companies that do termite inspections. Unfortunately I received conflicting information and asked him to make a appt. with Apex. At the appt. time when the inspector had not showed up...he called the office and was told that they had no appt. on the books. The office rescheduled him. The inspector (Marcus) that showed up did a excellent inspection and was very thorough. My brother told me that I was to contact the office for the results...but that Marcus had found no active/live termites. When I called the office they had to locate my report...I was told that they had found live termites, I told them that my brother had said that Marcus told him that he didn't find any live ones and could they email me the report . They also told me that their service mgr. would get back with me. They did email me the report (Marcus's report stated that the termites that he found were deceased.), I had to call them back again to get them to email me the pics, which they did. I called several times, and also left voicemail on the service mgrs. voicemail to call me back (I still needed to know what kind of termites had been in the house...so that I could decide on treatment options.) The inspection was on 06/10/2014...as of 06/29/2014...I still had not heard from the service mgr. On 06/30/2014 I spoke with the office mgr. and told her how disappointed I was with their office...and that it was a shame because....Marcus had done such a great job...and I HAD really wanted to do business with them.

We have been using Apex since we moved in, in 2000. They are very responsive and knowledgeable. I think the person that services our home, Lee, has been with Apex at least as long as we have, and you can tell that he really cares about what he does. We are very satisfied with Apex Pest Control.

We have used them for the past 10 years. We had some termite damage some few years ago, and they fixed it at no charge, just the $200 per year that we pay, and they fix whatever damage there is. They did what they promised they would.

The technician shows up on time, is courteous and professional. We have had no termite or other insect problems since we have used Apex.

They will also spray inside on request and come back if any pest issue arises. Steve, our provider, has been especially good at tending to pest control of the property in a cheerful and helpful manner.
