Ameritech is great, I've used them for many AC issues over the years. They are always helpful and identify the problem very quickly. I def recommend.

We had a service technician out to a 90 year old woman home every week for over month. Their answer was when it gets cold, go and plug the master power and plug it back in. Now it is finally warming up, the same thing is happening. Oh, and the head of the service department was to be here over 45 days ago. He is missing in action. There are soo many options for A C companies. A 90 year woman should not be subject to this type of service. No one should.

It was a pretty hard job, but they did an excellent job.

The installation went very well and they did the job on time and cleaned up after themselves very well. They were professional while at my home. The equipment seems to very good (Trane), including an electronic filter. So no complaints there. They were quite lax in returning my request for information. It did finally get resolved, but took them 2 weeks to get the information I needed.

We were very pleased with the installation of our Goodman air conditioner. The techs came on time, worked all day, and cleaned up nicely. Everything looks good and performs well. We got 3 estimates and this price was very good. It was also the only itemized estimate. We also got a rebate from Duke energy. I highly recommend this company.

Our a/c unit went out recently and we needed a new one asap. Bob and his team were extremely professional, thorough, and hardworking! Bob met us at the house, went over all the details and made us completely comfortable with the whole process.They offered extremely competitive pricing and got us on the schedule quickly! Very trustworthy and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a/c work!

Ameritech was quick to respond to my request for a quote with Bob calling me on a Friday evening and coming out the following Monday. He and his co-worker (Jerry?) were professional, very informative (which I appreciated as a first time home buyer who knows nothing about this stuff) and nice to work with. I didn't feel like they tried to sell me all the bells and whistles or pressure me into a sale—they simply showed me my options, offered financing and had someone out to finish the job the next day. I appreciated the fast response and their team quickly removing a difficult, 24 year old unit to make room for the new unit. I had nothing but a great experience.

I have dealt with Ameritech in the past few years and been very pleased with their courtesy and good service, and I trusted them. However, they must have changed ownership or management because my recent experience was extremely disappointing. I had initially called and left a message at 7:30 am on Wednesday. Never heard back from them, so I called and explained the problem and was given a window for them to send the Technician, between 12 Noon and 2 p.m. The dispatcher called me at 1:30 p.m., stating that the Tech was running about one hour to 90 minutes late due to unexpected delays in the previous customer's service call. I was told both times that the Tech would be calling me about 30 minutes prior to arriving. He showed up at my door at 3 p.m. without calling, saying he was having his lunch nearby and didn't have time to call. By then it had started to rain, and the first thing he said was: "I won't be able to do any outside work today, we'll just have to wait and see if the rain stops!" He appeared uninterested in asking any questions about the AC, and I felt like I had to MOTIVATE HIM to do his job. I explained the series of events, that it had been working on and off over the past few days, and finally convinced him to go outside and listen to the unit. He ran to his van and got a "Capacitor" and installed it, checked one wire, and then said my compressor had to be replaced. He appeared to be in such a hurry to leave, that when I asked what else needed to be checked before reaching his conclusion, he was unprofessional and rude. He initially refused to answer my questions about what the diagnostic service he planned to perform for the $ 69.95 fee for today!! He then uninstalled the new Capacitor, telling me that it would not be fair to charge me $ 225 for that if the real problem was the compressor, which he estimated would cost 300-400 dollars. Well, I did research after he left, and a capacitor on average costs about $30 max., and a Compressor costs a minimum of $ 700 to buy and to install.. According to the websites and research I had done, he was supposed to have checked the entire system in a step by step manner, He did not test the wires, the refrigerant, circuit board, the condenser, nothing. He said all those parts of the system would be checked by the next Tech who came to install the new Compressor! When I asked if the coils needed cleaning, he just shrugged and said they looked fine, when actually they were filthy!! I hadn't seen them until he opened up the unit...and then he criticized me and tried to shame me for not knowing where the Air Filter is located. I am a petite, intelligent and independent female, and I do a lot of DIY projects to take care of my home as best as I can but there are just some things I feel I need to rely on the professionals to know how to do. I spoke to "Sheryl, the Service Manager" who apologized, promised to send a different Tech who would complete the Service Call at "9:00 am Saturday morning." She promised to call me "right back" with a cost estimate for the compressor, e-mail me a brochure with the checklist of components the Tech must assess in order to complete the service call, and to ensure that he arrives on time." It is now 9:45 am Saturday, and no one has shown up, nor returned my 3 X calls. I am furious, and will never deal with this company again. I am calling my bank to cancel the money I paid them.

It was a happy ending as they are professionals. Job was done on time and within my budget. And Rob even went a step further by doing an additional inspection 1 month after the unit was installed.

On time , professionals, good work, cleaned up afterwards, even spend extra time helping with the thermostat set up. Very happy.

Called and made an appointment, and these pros showed up on time and did excellent job for everything included in the valuable package I purchased. Excellent people did that job for me. Will definitely call them again when needed.

I must say how happy I am with finding this company. They were wonderful from beginning to end. Bob our sales person was very knowledgeable on the AC unit, proper air flow in the home and the duct work that needed to completed once he examined the ducts in our home. The customer service is excellent as well as the pricing being reasonable. The installers were incredible as well. It was a 3 man job. They were organized and knew exactly how to properly install everything. I finally found a trustworthy and reputable AC company and plan on using them in the near future. I highly recommend this company. You must know that I took a month to determine and research my final decision on what AC company to use and I am extremely happy I have chosen one of the best. Thank you all at AmeriTech for running an organized, courteous, customer driven company. You guys are a rare find in your industry. :-)

the install was great. the installers were very good and did a great job. from the front of the house to the back of the house. they were very knowledgeable and proficient.every questioned i had he answered.i would recommend them to anyone. bob was great.

Leon arrived on time and was extremely pleasant and professional. He checked our inside and outside systems, noted low pressure and added refrigerant to the unit. When he said he was finished I asked him about the air ducts, because the main reason for me purchasing the coupon on Angie's List was because one of the ducts had warm air coming out of it instead of cold. He said that was a different person and required a different appointment. I asked if I would be contacted for this and he said yes. This was on May 27th, 2015. Two months later I realized I still had not received a call, and sent Ameritech a note about it. They called me back and quickly set up an appointment. Service Manager Chris showed up on time and again was very friendly and professional. He went up into the attic and came down 5 minutes later with a picture of the air duct that had come loose, which was causing the air to warm up before coming out of the vents. He asked if I wanted Ameritech to complete the repair, and I said yes. I asked if someone would contact me to set up an appointment, and he said yes. That was the last time I spoke with someone from Ameritech, and it has since been 2 months again. Our house is generally pretty comfortable, so shame on me for not being in a rush to get it fixed. However, I struggle with the follow up and follow through from Ameritech. If you commit to a repair and the communication that comes along with it, I expect you to follow through and for me not to have to keep reaching out. At this point I'll be calling another company to complete the repair before the summer. The service technicians, and even the coordinator over the phone are very pleasant, courteous, and professional. However, the professionalism lacks severely when it comes to following up, which is very disappointing.

The guy tried to sell me some stuff. The whole thing that he did, I didn't like too much. He showed me some stuff that I know that I didn't need. The price was good.

Very poor service. Provider did not bring all of the tools needed to inspect and clean the unit. Attitude was terrible and very rude. I did not get the services I paid for. When it was clear that the provider was not going to complete the full inspection and cleaning, I asked him to leave. He actually refused to leave, and it took several demands before he actually left my house. He then sat in his car in my driveway for 15+ minutes.

They located the leak and fixed it. Very nice service technician. As far as I can tell it was a fair prize. I may have been their last call but they still did not rush thru the issue, took their time and left us with cool air in the end.

It went great! The person came out to do an estimate. He was on time and very thorough. He provided an estimate and also gave specs. Once I decided I wanted to hire them, the appointment was made. The two men who did the work came out early on Saturday and finished by 6:00 PM the same day. The worked very hard. You could tell they knew their stuff. At the end of the day, I signed the final agreement and paid the final installment. The administrative assistant was also very good at following-up to ensure the city inspector came out to check the final work. Everyone from start to finish were professional and very timely. I definitely will use Ameritech to come out and service the air conditioner for maintenance.

The service I received from Ameritech was fantastic! Bob was able to come and give a thorough check of my situation and leave an estimate the same day that I called him with my problem. He was up-front and honest about what was needed in my home and gave a more than fair estimate of the cost (which beat out all of the others by more than $1000.00) He even discovered things that were necessary to make things code-compliant that the other contractors had not mentioned! The installation went quickly and smoothly, the inspection was flawless, and I am happy to say that I am nice and cool in my home, just in time for Florida's sweltering summer! In one word...FLAWLESS!!!!!!!!!!!! Let me start from the beginning. I needed to replace the entire AC system (Heat pump & Air handler) in my rental property. I called several companies and had written estimates from a few of them. By far the most courteous and best customer experience I had was with AMERITECH. Starting from the person answering the phone, Kaitlin, who quickly scheduled to have Bob Frauman come to the property to give the estimate and then to the installers (Barney and Joe), I have nothing but praise for everyone I encountered. Joe called me 1 hour before the scheduled appointment just to inform me that they were on their way. Barney and Joe were both extremely knowledgeable and efficient. They took out the old unit and installed a brand new 5-ton unit without any problems whatsoever. They explained how the system works and provided me with the manuals and warranty information before they left. They also informed me that the office will be submitting the warranty paperwork with the manufacturer, so I did not have to do anything (WOW!). Later in the evening I received a call from Bob asking me how was the installation, etc. Then a few days later I got an email from Kaitlin with copies of the warranty registration paperwork and a receipt for the $4,600. AMERITECH has been by far the best customer service experience I have had in my over 40 years living in the USA. GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Quality service at competitive prices. This was our second HVAC purchase from Ameritech. Sales Rep Bob Frauman was referred to us by one of our vendors . Bob is not only experienced and knowledgeable, but also consults his in-house experts for confirmation of the best way to serve his customers . This job was challenging for many reasons. Great warranty on the units and they assisted with the Energy Rebates too. There was a slight mishap with our fragile plaster ceiling in the living room (right under the duct work they were optimizing) and they have returned twice to make sure it was repaired to our satisfaction. I should also mention their quote was over $15,000.00 less than a prior quote, and about $10,000.00 less than Costco's Lennox quote. The Ameritech office staff was always helpful and courteous.
