We opened up 2 offices in central Florida this year. Being new to the area we decided to rent before purchasing to be sure we were in the area with the best fit . We really like the location of this development in Kissimmee and started contacting this office 2 months ago to inquire about a condo that was for rent ( and is still listed as I'm typing this review) . We are interested in purchasing here, but thought renting would help us in the decision before investing. This has been by far the worst experience in all of the real estate projects we have encountered. After several weeks of trying to communicate with the office staff and supervisor on site, and feeling somewhat reluctant, we finally put an application in to proceed. After 2 more weeks of calls, emails and text messages we were told today that the place had been already rented. A hard inquiry has been processed on our credit, as well as an application fee of $85.00 paid. Had we not called thjis morning to check the "pending application " as we were told just 2 days ago, we would still be in the dark. I have booked travel to come to pay the deposits in person this weekend as well as get the keys , assuming that as we were promised the application process would be completed by the end of the week. The trip from Ohio will now be to look at other places and start all over . If you want invest in the story lake project in Kissimmee , good luck communicating with the lackadaisical staff. And by all means, don't let them charge you a fee for an application when they have no intention of being honest.
