The completed project was exactly what we wanted. Alan is a man who takes pride in his work and won't do anything less than his very best. He starts the job when he says he will, he is ALWAYS on time. He never stops working, I encourage him to take a break, but he barely and rarely takes a break. He didn't ask for money up front. He is calm and efficient. Even when some things go wrong (for instance when ordered materials don't arrive on time or damaged) he remains calm and even tempered. He is a pleasure to have in your home. I have trusted him to be in our home when we are not here. Besides this job, Alan has done 2 room additions for us, he has installed new windows, laid hardwood floors in 3 bedrooms, tiled floors, painted and done various small jobs for us. Every job he has done has been exactly as we wanted and turned out beyond our expectations due to his professionalism, knowledge, work ethic and experience.After the job is completed he cleans up every area of work and leaves things in your home in better condition than they were when he got there. I HIGHLY recommend Alan Britton for any type of job you want done. He is honest, dependable, pleasant, reliable, and all the adjectives I could use to describe a real craftsman.
