+ -1 moreOrdered cooktop and was told I was going to get frequent follow-up calls on the order since everything is delayed this days. So far, I have to call everytime, with no answers, I had to go there personally there to get answers and to possibly order a range vent. The seller asingned to me either doesn't want to sell or work. I called today again since my cooktop was supposed to be arriving by the end of August but again, no one answered, the only thing that makes me think this place is not a scam, is that it's a physical place. Yesterday I went to Ferguson, and within 30 minutes I was out of the door with all my questions answered and order in place, and a way to check myself where is my order. I am happy that I decided to go to Ferguson instead. I am not getting paid for this review, I am just angry at aggressive appliance service.

+ 1 moreCouldn't be happier. Dean, our salesmen, spent countless hours with me and my wife listening to all our needs and requirements. We had a particular theme we were going for and these guys went above and beyond. The installation crew was just as impressive. I had to get a repair on the washer because something short circuited! No idea what happened. Normally when calling any company with issues or problems I would be given the run around and the blame game. Not with Aggressive. I just called the service manager-- Jeff I believe-- and they got me on the schedule and eased my mind that they would be able to find out the cause of the problem. The service repair man was Lee and he was extremely knowledgeable. He diagnosed the issue and had it all handled in no time. From beginning to end this was a great experience. I felt like this company not only gave me a great deal of promise and expectations but they followed through with ALL of it. They have kept me as a customer for life and I will make it my mission to recommend them to anyone and everyone who is looking for appliances or repair.
Description of Work: Purchased ALL my appliances for my home from Aggressive Appliances. I have a HUGE home and my wife has particular expensive taste. I was doing my shopping around to all the local dealers and beginning to lose hope that any company would be able to meet all my expectations. Then I stumbled upon Aggressive Appliances!

+ -1 moreI contacted them to replace a water dispenser lever on a refrigerator. It was a simple problem yet the individual in the repair service department was rude and argumentative about it. I knew exactly what needed replaced, had searched for the part and although I could get the part, I could not do the repair myself, thus I called them. She informed me that they needed to come and look at the refrigerator to determine the repair, then they would order the part (I couldn't get it for them and they used a supplier who was much more expensive than the manufacturer) then return to fix it. Unnecessary expense and time and I asked them to order the part and when it came in to come and install it. I gave them my credit card to order the part and as a parting shot she said, you know you have to pay for the part and service call if you are wrong and if the repair can't be done. I waited and waited but no call to come and do the job. So I called and talked to a different person who was nice and she said the part should be in that day and we scheduled the repair. Two men showed up and it took them all of 15 minutes of actual work time to replace the lever and they were gone. The work was done fine, the men were very nice and professional. It was the nasty woman on the phone who turned me off to this company. Perhaps she takes the name Aggressive Appliances too seriously.

Description of Work: Contacted them because of their rating on Angie's List for washing machine repair. Called on Jan. 30th was advised that a Service Team would be in my area Friday (2-1-13) morning. Since my washer is still 'working' but in need of repair before belt or drum breaks, I advised that if Friday early morning was available, that would be fine, however I stressed that I had an appt. in early afternoon and would need an early AM appt. if I had to wait until next week Monday as originally discussed that would be fine. I was assured that the 'team' could be expected between 9 and 9:30 a.m. Friday. No problem. Oh yes, they also 'require' a Credit Card to ensure the Service Call. So I gave my Master Card number and really felt uncomfortable about that, but I felt pressured to do so in order to get my machine taken care of. At 9:30 the tech called to advise they were 30 to 45 mins away!! How is that in 'my area'? It was not the tech's fault, so I contacted the 'Service Dept' and spoke with Sarah who originally scheduled appt. I told her that the Service team would arrive by their estimated time, 11:00 and I needed to leave around noon as I mentioned originally!! I told her to call the Service Team and advise them the call was cancelled. She had the audacity to ask if I wanted to re-schedule. Am I missing something? This is 'Customer Service'?? You were the one that insisted you would already have a tech in my area scheduled for Friday (today). If a company cannot provide 'reasonable' response time, AND they require a Credit Card to show up....there is something not right. Awful experience and glad I found out before I was racked over the coals for repairs which is what most likely would have happened next! There are others out there and I will find someone reliable!

+ -1 moreI was not happy with them. He was supposed to find out what was wrong with my microwave. We wanted to know what he was going to charge to repair it. At first they would not even tell us, we had trouble finding out the price from them and then they told us two men would do it and they were charging double what other people were charging. I was very surprised because they were okay on your Angie's list site. When the other guy came, he told us that there was other things wrong with it that they didn't tell us, that they didn't just figure out. The first guy just came and looked at it, he told us it was something but when the second guy came to repair it, he told us what the problem is and he charged us much less.

+ -1 moreThe large burner went out on my glass top stove and I had no idea how to repair on my own. Called and had friendly over the phone service, got a repair man scheduled for next day. He called about half an hour before he arrived, arrived on time and within the service call window time frame. All my stove needed was the wire replaced - it had gotten burned and that is what caused the burner to stop working. Simple and easy - no parts charge, he just replaced the terminal wire and no extra fee besides the quoted price for the service call. Very friendly guy, would definitely use again in the future.

+ -1 moreOur old Maytag dryer was making screeching noises, metal on metal so that prompted a look at Angie's list for help. I decided to try Aggressive Appliances based on the reviews and their discount for first time users. I set an appointment and provided them the model number of the dryer so they could bring appropriate replacement parts at the initial visit. My description of the symptoms gave them a good idea what the problem was. They brought all the replacement parts that might be wise to replace while the dryer's guts were out. One belt did not fit as well as the technician liked so he came back later after a better fitting part was ordered. After the initial visit we were up and running until the new belt came in. They guys that came out were courteous and very quick. I was particularly happy to find that these men had been at their craft for a long time and thus knew all the subtleties of figuring out a problem with the dryer. Very pleased with the whole experience. The people on the phone taking care of customer service couldn't have been better either, right on the ball.
Description of Work: Clothes dryer was making metal on metal screeching noises. The dryer is of 1992 vintage and had never had issues before, so some worn parts were to be expected. Customer service said it might be one of the 3 parts: belt, idler or support. Due to their relatively low cost, and age of the dryer, we oked all three parts to be replaced. Since we had the model number for the dryer, they brought the proper parts on the initial visit. The belt was not a perfect fit so a new one was ordered and installed on a second visit.

He was very professional, got to work immediately found the problem(s) advised that the repair work would be almost as much as a new dishwasher with a higher efficiency and lower water use. Decided to go with new dishwasher.
Description of Work: Had a leak from my dishwasher and the detergent cup was not dispensing properly. Diagnosed a bad seal, bad timer and broken spring on detergent cup. Repair estimate was ~$350. Decided to go with a new dishwasher since the one we had was 16 years old.
