+ -1 moreMy biggest concern is thy are charging too much for a new opener, but $700 may be the new going rate. I would price them out before paying tht much in the future.
Description of Work: The belt broke on my Sears garage door opener and I ordered a new one on eBay. I had trouble adjusting the door with the new belt and the technician worked on the older unit until it was rigged just right to make it work. He was very helpful and was working hard to work with my existing opener because he new I didn't want to spend money on a new opener. Not sure how long it will last, however it seems to be doing OK at this point. One concern, the price of a replacement opener was going to be way to expensive ($700), so I am hoping this one will last for a while. He wasn't pushy and I would use him again.

+ -1 moreWe accidentally lowered the garage door on a board that had fallen into the track on one side, and the door got skewed and came partially off the tracks when we tried to raise and lower it again. I called Advance because they were listed as being nearby. Mr. Singh came out the next day. He worked by himself. He was able to disconnect the cables, unwind the spring, get the door straight, reconnect the cables and spring and adjust everything to work again. He did some lubrication of the hinges and rollers for good measure. It all took about an hour. Mr. Singh was prompt and did a good job.
Description of Work: FIx a garage door that was jammed and askew in the tracks.
