We have had them forever. They seem to do a fine job. We are on a month to month and our rate is low. That is why we are still with them. We will continue to use them if the rate stays the same.

The initial set-up was fine but every now and then my fire alarm goes off and I called them and they replaced it but it still goes off for no reason. There are times that my alarm goes off and they did not call me. Other times they do so I'm quite torn on their service.

Everything is fine with them, we are very happy with the service. What I really like is that they give you the option to have everything set up online including when lights go on and off. One thing we think needs to be improved is the equipment that they use. It is a little bit outdated, and we would like some more up-to-date technology.

I am satisfied with the company and their work. One of their salesman tried to get me to leave them; I had to tell him off and then he got nasty with me. It was just one of their service men, it wasn't the company. Their business is good and I don't have any problems with them. It was the salesman that was trying to steal me away from them and go into business with him. When I wouldn't, the serviceman marred my car. He scratched it up on the top, so I couldn't see it. The business is satisfactory, but the problem was this one, particular serviceman. He was rude. The price was fair. Quality of work was good. Responsiveness was good. Punctuality was iffy because they didn't give me a specific time and I had to be here when they came. Punctually could be improved upon. They did a good job as far as professionalism goes. I would choice someone else in the future.

The equipment is reliable. I have had reliable service calls. What I don't like is that they raised the cost $5.00 immediately when they took over. Mine includes monitoring and insurance. If any of the equipment goes wrong, they will come out and replace it for free. That is OK if they keep it that way, but we will have a problem if they jack it up every year. After three years, the equipment is paid for, and there is no more contract. If you go to another company and they use they same kind of equipment, they just sign you on for the monitoring and you don't have to re-wire everything.

Their response time is very fast. They don't hesitate to send someone out to check on my home if the alarm is set off. They even came and replaced the battery in the system for me free of charge.

I do not have to have a home phone with the wireless package that I have. I am happy with the service that I receive from them. I have accidentally set the alarm off before, and they were right on top of getting it taken care of. When they installed the system, they were right on time. I will continue using them.

I had Brinks and I was very upset when ADT took over. They are responsive and professional. I set my alarm off my mistake last week and they called right away. They didn't raise the price when they took over.

We have not had any problems except that they are so expensive. Everything else has been smooth. When we need them to come out, they come out and take care of things.

I am on a monthly contract with them but have never had to put in a claim. I hope in the future everything works well. I will use them again in the future.

Nothing either way, they came and did it. Nothing good or bad. They seemed to be about average with everybody. The charge is taken out of my account very month. I feel neutral about them, average price and they put in the system. I would use them in the future.

I’ve been very pleased with what they did for us. Their responsiveness and professionalism was top notch. They really took their time and explained everything to us thoroughly.

The guy came over and installed everything and was very efficient. The system works well and I have no complaints.

They did a nice job; they did what they said they would do and were here when they said they would be. They charged what they said they would and I will use them again in the future.

They are terrible. They have been out two or three times. Their service is terrible. They are very uncooperative. I can't say anything good about them. They were supposed to fix a door unit alarm indicator. They put it in and charged me $85 to fix it. I set the alarm one time and went back to set it again. It was broken again. I called them up but I didn’t want to pay them again. I don’t think they have anybody local. I found them to be very anti customer oriented. Their repair people and their installers were very poorly trained. They don’t know what they are doing. When they installed the system, they completely messed up the system. They had to come back because they had installed it incorrectly. I had the repair issue that they did incorrectly. They have been less than cooperative in returning it. I am tied into a contract and I have to stay with them for a total of two years. Otherwise they will sue me if I don’t pay them. I wouldn’t recommend them to anybody. When I called them back for the repair issue, they told me that I had to pay for it again. It was very inconvenient. I told them that I was there only four days a month. They weren’t willing to set up an appointment that would match up with me being there. I had to take their appointment and that was tough.

Called ADT (my current security monitoring and equipment provider) in early December 2010 to have someone come out to assess some security concerns we had in reference to our sliding door in the master bedroom, the entry foyer and possible installing a third keypad in the master bedroom. Was told by the agent there would be a $59.00 trip charge to have the technician come out, but if we purchased any equipment and labor then this $59.00 would be waved. On 12/13/2010 the technician came to the house. My wife was the one home at the time. We ended up buying the new keypad in master bedroom, installing a new contact RF sensor on the sliding door screen and installing a new RF motion detector in the foyer. My wife signed the invoice, which indicated the $59.00 trip fee. I thought they may correct it at the office, so I waited until the bill came in January. The bill indicated the full $434.00 (includes the trip fee). I called the main ADT number and discussed getting the $59.00 credit. They indicated they cannot do this and I must call the local office. I called the local number on 02/03/2011 and spoke to Nesa (not sure of spelling). She put me through to the sales manager; I thought he indicated his name was Brant. He indicated he did not even have any record of the service call and he would look into it and call me back later that day. Called back on 02/03/2011 and the receptionist indicated the manager is Brian Gelvon (not sure of spelling). I left a message for him. Called again on 02/04/2011 and left a message. Called again on 02/07/2011 and left a message. To date have not received a call back.

After moving into my home and for the first time having an alarm system, I was pragmatic about my choice of security system monitors. Choosing a "national" company seemed like the safe choice. Even my initial installation was not too bad (comments below), but their customer service was deplorable and their policies were forceful and dogmatic, not to mention extremely angering. First, to the INSTALLATION...The installer was checking the system for visual flaws (i.e. missing door/window contact) and installing a cellular transmitter, since we don't have a land-line phone. I say visual, because only a rudimentary check of the system was done (open a few doors), no thorough determination if all sensors were working properly, not ideal. Next, the cellular transmitter was added, installed near the system console in an upstairs room, as is proper. The transmitter was having trouble getting the signal, so the technician informed me that I could buy a bigger antenna (for much more money) on top of the $150 I spent on the cellular transmitter. Our house, walls, closets are standard, so an appropriately sized antenna should have been provided with the cellular transmitter. If it wasn't provided, it should have been free, since I agreed to pay for a "working" cellular transmission with my original $150. Second, to the POST-INSTALLATION issues. The system has false alarmed once a month for 4 months, every time in the middle of the night. At first we thought it was the motion sensor going off because of our cats. The motion sensor is supposed to Not Detect under 40lbs, which our animals are considerably smaller, but we thought it might be malfunctioning. We disabled the motion sensor at night, and still had 3 more monthly false alarms. ADT never called and the Police were never sent for any of these "False Alarms" (I even assume they are false alarms because nothing was open, broken, or displaced on any of the alarms. Where was ADT??? When I called later, they said, "oh yea, we recorded that" Finally, to the CUSTOMER SUPPORT. We needed to have additional door sensors installed, identified by the original technician, so we called the customer support line to set up an installation time, etc. We were told, we had to have a "Sales Rep" to our house first!!! I said, that is crazy because we know what we want, just tell us a price and schedule a time. ADT insisted it was a POLICY. I came to find out later that this "Sales Rep" was there to force a contract if we wanted service performed to add elements to the system. END RESULT...Do not go with ADT. I cannot speak for other "national" companies, but from now on I am going with a local, certified provider, who actually has an office and a real person the phone. I have had excellent results with local (or regional) companies, who do not have policies that interfere or contract pushers.

After the technician arrived, we went over the work order and walked through the install. At that time we requested 2 additional zones be installed which costs us $85 per zone. The technician went out of his way to minimize any drilling or viewable wires and did an excellent job. The total install time was approximately 7 hours which was within the 6 to 8 hour estimate that I was given for the install. The alarm system is active, is functioning perfectly, we were explained all the features of the system and the technician cleaned up what little debris there was. We definitely recommend to others. Monitoring price is not the lowest but neither is it the most expensive. Solid company and good experience to date.

They did a very good job. It has been a good experience. The system works fine and I haven't had any problems with it. I pay them on a monthly basis for their services. I think they have been very professional for the time that I have been with them.

Brinks Alarm is great! They are very courteous, professional and helpful. They really stand behind their work and use standardized equipment for your every need. I would recommend them to everyone.

They always respond right away, you know that they will do exactly what they should which is call and send the police if they don t hear from you. They are very attentive and professional as well. I would recommend them to everyone.

They monitor my alarm system and I ve never had any complaints about them, they are always on top of things and they inform me whenever I need to be informed. I will continue to use this alarm service. I highly recommend this company.

He is extremely reasonable compared to other companies. I checked with other companies and I found ADT to be the most reliable and response time to be the best. Monthly and set up charge is highly competitive and the equipment is the best in the market.

I have had them monitoring the house since I moved in over five years ago. I had a problem with the battery where it kept calling the police. They came out and and corrected fairly quickly and efficiently. Whenever I have a question or issue, they are responsive and professional.

I can't say nothing bad about them. They never let me down and I had them now for almost 10 years.
