Reaches 9000 square feet from base unit which MUST be connected to a landline telephone. Emergency button is for medical, fire or police assistance but also to contact family or friends in case law enforcement/fire and rescue not necessarily needed. Lock box available for an additional fee for use in case officials are unable to gain access to the residence, thus preventing property damage.
Service requires a landline telephone and service. Can NOT be used with Magic Jack or VONAGE.
