Other than a minor communication hiccup in scheduling, it went very smoothly. The team was very professional and took great care with my piano. Will definitely use them again when it's time to move the piano to the next house.

It took a few hours. They moved it from the folk's house that we got it from to ours. There were 3 workers and they were all good.

Mr. Hickman called the night before to verify time of arrival at my house in the morning. They arrived on time. They were prompt, courteous and professional. On delivery at my daughter's house, Mr. Hickman gave me a recommendation for a piano tuner and a teacher, who just happened to live close to my daughter's house. I don't think I could be any happier with their service.

Fantastic company! Called on a Saturday with the intent to leave a message, and got the owner. Scheduled me for Monday morning. Worked with me to get payment to piano seller as well as his payment for services. Absolutely the best experience! Don't use anyone else...

Contacted the company and they were more then happy to stop by the house when they were in the local area; totally understandable as Fernandina is a bit of a hike from JAX. In any case, the bulk of the crew arrived to look at the pick-up location and then drove down the street to the drop-off location. Mega appreciative of their honesty as the room it was going to was on the second floor and the stairwell had too many sharp turns for a baby grand piano. They informed me the only way to get it done was to rent a hand crank, bring it in through the bedroom off of the master deck and roll it down the hallway. I thought they would balk at the possibility of such a hassle, but they were right on it. About a week later they arrived, gingerly disassembled and moved the piano, cranked it up onto the deck and down the hallway, and set it right up. Was stunned how relatively easy it went and also the fact there was no damage caused at all to the piano...an added bonus! Awesome job and plan to use again in the near future!

Since the Piano transfer was the result of a family Estate deal, I had arranged for a police escort due to the unstable family members that have been living in that home illegally for 13 years. Larry and his partner handled the situation very professionally and expedited the move process very well in order to get in and get out. I would recommend Piano Transport Services to anyone that needs a Piano moved professionally at a very reasonable price. There were no scratches or marks on our recently re-finished wood floors or any scratches to the Piano due to their professionalism. Outstanding!

Once I was able to contact Larry, it went well.

Couldn't have asked for better, more professional, and accommodating service! Because of circumstances beyond my control, the piano had to be moved while I was out of the state. Larry was able to do the pick up and delivery for me on the same day (6 hours there and 6 hours back), and ensure that my elderly parents (who would be taking delivery for me) were not disturbed beyond 7PM, as requested! Because I was juggling two different schedules on my end and a deadline, Larry really worked with me to find the best date within the window to make sure all of my requests were met. Once delivered, my parents were very impressed with the team's professionalism and efficiency in bringing the piano in and putting it back in one piece, sharing some important suggested "do's and don't's" with my parents that they passed along to me regarding suggested time to wait for tuning, etc. Larry was also kind enough to recommend a tuner close to my home. I would ABSOLUTELY and with any reservation recommend Larry Hickman and Piano Transport Services to anyone needing to move their beloved piano! Thank you, Larry, for making a potentially stressful situation and move a piece of cake!

It went very well; they were later than expected but called to let me know and called when they were on the way. They were able to move the piano and set it in its places without any cosmetic damage. Very friendly movers and would use them again!

Larry and his assistant were very punctual and diligent. They even fixed a leg on the piano before transporting it. The piano arrived at the home of my daughter in Jax in just a little over an hour. They even supplied pads on the piano feet to avoid scratching the wood floors. Would definitely use their service again.
