They took our gate key and never came because we were Hispanic. They are racist and thieves. Called a few times to get key back and would never answer us. Had to stop initial payment, and replace all locks. Very unprofessional. Don't believe their Christian claims.

Back Ground : My husband and I have kept the pool maintained ourself for the last 6 years so I have a full understanding of our particular pool needs. It's not rocket science, But it is some chemistry. Orange Park Pool service started on or around Mid June. The Owner / Servicer seemed nice enough at first. Since I had already had a poor experience with my first attempt at hiring a pool service I ensured I was very clear on the expectations of service from the start. The Owner came out and looked over the pool. At that time I advised him of one of the challenges of the pool was that there is no bottom drain. That dirt would need to be vacuumed with a Net and/or vacuumed to waste. The Owner assured me this would not be an issue. He went so far as to say that he usually used the clients filtration system for vacuuming anyway. At first the pool was maintained well. The water was clear and there was little to no dabris in the pool. HOWEVER, The water hose was NEVER wound back up and Several times the Pool Pole with leaf skimmer net attached was left laying around. ** We have a Hose Box w/ Reel that works very well and we have hooks that hold the pool poles and Pool Hose **. I didn't complain about the items not being placed back where they were found. But be assured EVERY time I wound back up the hose and put the pole back. I Called the Owner once in Mid July and he did not return my call. My husband called him the following day and his call was returned. The call was not over anything serious. The pool Service had added some secondary chemicals and we were just trying to clarify if the pool needed to run for 24 hours or not. Which brings me to Sept. 6th, When I came home Sept 6th the Pool pole with the pool Brush still attached was laid inside my husbands boat. YES in the boat. Now mind you the Hooks for the pole is right next to the boat. And the pool appeared to have been brushed in a hurry (areas visibly not brushed). I called Orange Park Pool Service and left a voice mail asking if something happened that caused him to leave in a hurry and see if he was coming back. He NEVER returned the call. However, This evening I did get a letter from Orange Park Pool Service stating they were unable to continue service. BUT they did NOT return my Key. I am going to try to upload a few pictures of the pool on the 9/16. *Please NOTE there was NEVER an issue with payment and I was NEVER rude. The only time I mentioned the items Not being put back where they where found was on Sept.6th when items were left in my husband's boat. By the way, the Letter from OP Pool Service was dated 9/6/12.

Response from Orange Park Pool Services Inc.
We were hired to clean and maintain Member pool. Orange Park Pool Service was the third pool service company ( that I know) to clean the pool. When we were hired, she complained that when the pool was clean (before OP Pool service), debrie would be still in the pool. We informed her that we would do our best. She requested that the pool be vacuumed on waste. You can clean a pool by vacuuming the pool on waste This process takes all the dirt and leaves out of the pool. But by doing this, you will dilute the pool's secondary chemicals. These chemicals are CYA(stabilizer) and Alkalinity. The CYA prevents the sun from burning out the chlorine in the pool. Every pool MUST have CYA. The Alkalinity is what stabilizes the PH in the pool. When the Alkalinity is below 80 ppm, you will get a "false" reading on the PH. The PH is what makes the Chlorine in the pool work (kill and maintain algae). By vacuuming the pool on waste EVERY week, the pool will need the CYA and Alkalinity to be rebalanced once a month. We have been cleaning and maintaining pools in the Orange Park, and surrounding area since 1984, almost thirty years. Our job is to clean pools. We try to educate our clients. However, we CAN NOT make them change their minds, if they think they know more than OPPS. We talk to other pool company's in the area, about twenty five to be exact. They also have customers that "think" they know more. There are forty eight service company's in the Orange Park and Jacksonville area. We are a service based work force. If you do not like your service, you change. But we will stand behind our service and professionalism service record. We currently have sixty-two weekly pool contracts. Thirty-three have been with OPPS for over twenty-two years. Pride is what we offer. Professionalism is what we give. We have no time for NIP'S (non-informed-people). Just to inform Angie's list, It seems that every complaint we have received from customers, its because Orange Park Pool Service canceled service to their pool. Thank you for your time. Donald E.
