Description of Work: Dusted all furniture, blinds and baseboards. Vacuumed and mopped all floors and rugs. Cleaned all bathrooms and showers/ bathtub. Changed all bedding that was required and cleaned the kitchen and appliances to perfection.

+ -1 moreWhen I schedule a move out, top to bottom cleaning, they asked me if I wanted to have the fridge and stove cleaned as it would take longer, hence cost more. I said yes, to both. The fridge was pretty much already clean, but the stove had two palm-sized burned on food spots that were hidden under a silicon mat used to catch spills. I only caught that when I removed the mat after the movers had come so I told them I wanted them to do the stove. I had packed up my broom and vacuum, so when I noticed a tiny mound of flour that had spilled from the bag, I knew that would just vacuum right up. The day they cleaned, I met them at the empty house, I let them in and went back to work while they cleaned. They called a few hours later saying they had finished and my total was $270. Much to my dismay, when I returned, I found that the stove still had the two burnt on stains (very obvious near the front), The glass in the door had stains and the inside back didn't even appear to even have been wiped down. I had a can of Easy Off there, so I sprayed the spots and came back after a few hours and all it took was simply wiping up the residue and it sparkled! I took the Easy Off to the wire racks as well as they also had stains on them that hadn't been cleaned. I was also shocked to find that small pile of flour still under the edge of the cabinet on the floor. How could they have even vacuumed and missed it? If you want someone to come in and wipe things down with a damp cloth, they're the ones for you. If you have deep cleaning that needs to be done, I wouldn't go that route unless I was able to be there and supervise. I ended up doing everything myself as I was on a deadline for inspection. Didn't have time to waste worrying with them again! I should have, but time was of the essence!

+ -1 moreI was fortunate to find Molly Maid on Angie's List. They first came out to our home on 02/06/14 for a deep down cleaning. We were expecting quite a few people from out of town for a high school reunion and we wanted to get everything cleaned; the walls, floors, baseboards, cabinets, etc. After reading their reviews, we decided to try them out. Three awesome women showed up and really did a nice job. The price was very reasonable; $315.00 for 3 and a half hours. At that time, we weren't planning on having this be a monthly service, but we were so impressed and felt so great about having one thing taken out of our busy schedule that we committed to a monthly cleaning. The second cleaning on 03/03/14 went well, too. We look forward to a continued great experience with Molly Maid!

Description of Work: We are putting the home up for rent and wanted a move out deep cleaning. We needed the service at the last minute and Molly Maids was very accommodating by promising to be there NLT 8:35 the next morning and quoted a price between $175-$210. They showed up at 8:55 am with no explanation. We walked them around and showed them everything we wanted to be done with an emphasis on the master shower. They said ok to everything and said they would give us a call about 30 minutes before completion. We left to complete other business before we had to leave out of town. They called and said they needed more time and would cost an addition $30. We had no problem with this because we wanted everything to be right. They called again about an hour later saying they would be done in about 30 minutes. We came over and quickly looked at everything. One of the ladies told my wife that she did best she could and that the shower probably needed to be regretted. My wife said ok as the shower did look better. We did not have much time to go over everything until 2 days later, when a realtor came to look at the house to list it for rent. When walking through he said that it looked good but needed to be cleaned. I told him it was just cleaned and he proceed to show me what he was talking about. The grout in the master shower, which we placed an emphasis on with Molly Maids, he was able to clean with his own spit and finger. The blinds in every room were still dusty. The oven had food particle along the seem of the door and in the vent behind the handle. The louvered door for the air handler was covered in dust and particle I got off with my finger without effort. Air conditioner vents had dust on them and the ceiling around them. The baseboards still had stuff on them that I could remove, again with my finger and spit. We wanted everything deeply and thoroughly cleaned and were willing to pay for a job done right. We called and spoke with MR Rue and he was immediately defensive, saying that his people always do good work and that realtors are nit pickers. He asked for a detailed list so that they could reclean those areas but didn't offer any apology. Due to his reaction we feel unconformable letting them back in the home. We now have to pay another $240 to get the job we were promised in the first place. I have been in the military for 12 years and what they called clean would not ever be accepted at any level. This scenario is exactly why I joined Angie's List, tired of being disappointed.

+ -1 moreWe used their service for over 14 months; they were on time and cleaned well. Unfortunately, Molly Maid broke and replaced several small dollar items. Finally, Molly Maid broke an irreplaceable item [65 year old family heirloom]. Molly Maid did want to replace the item. However, in return for replacing the item, Molly Maid wanted us to give them the broken heirloom; that was unacceptable. How does one replace an heirloom? After we could not come to a replacement agreement, Molly Maid decided “WE” had too many fragile valuables [in our home] and Molly Maid would no longer clean our home. Molly Maid never did replace or pay for the broken item. When we would report an issue to Molly Maid, Molly Maid would make us feel that it was our fault.

Description of Work: Had a wonderful experience with Molly Maid. Tom came out and gave an estimate for a total clean and then a biweekly fee. He gave us several options to work in our budget. The women that come to the house are wonderful and go directly to work and don't stop until done. They are quiet, courteous and call me 30 mins before they get her. I have small dogs and they work well with them also. I am using them every other week and it helps out so much with working full time and cleaning you just don't get around to. I am going to refer them to my aunt for regular cleaning also. I'm so glad I found them. No contracts and work is guaranteed. They use safe "green" cleaners and will use your own cleaners if you like. I have them change beds, dust, mop, straighten up, and they clean bathrooms. Wonderful company.

I know a lot depends on the size of your house and what you want them to do so I hate to give the price. I let them give me a quote, as I have a very small house; it is a 2 bedroom home so probably it isn't fair to compare it with others. I am very pleased and it is fair for my size home. They are very very good. It is nice to have them.

We're using their services every 2 weeks and we are thrilled!!!!!! Of the many, many companies and individuals we emailed or called; Molly Maid was the first to respond (only 2 responded). Tom, the owner, came and gave us a rundown on what we could expect and he was right on the mark!!!! WE LOVE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm glad I chose a company for several reasons - they're insured, the employees are well trained and totally professional. I contacted this business on Dec 23rd, and booked a cleaning to be performed the next day...on Christmas Eve! The original call I made inquiring about the service was very detailed, the contact person asked thorough questions and gave me thorough answers about what the service included and what I could expect. I was given a time frame of three hours when the cleaning team would arrive, and they arrived exactly when they said they would - didn't have to wait any. Once they arrived, we walked thru my home and they looked everything over and then they got to work. They cleaned everything, very impressive. I was amazed at the amount of attention given to areas that don't usually don't cleaned very often. It was going to be a surprise for my wife, but she arrived home before they were finished. She was just as pleased at the results, we decided to schedule them for recurring cleanings form now on.

+ -1 moreMy wife was in the hospital and wanted the house clean before she got home. On short notice the Molly Maids changed the scheduled date and were able to clean the house. They went out of there way to get the job done. Excellent Job. The first cleaning is $200 for our house and then $110 bi monthly or $70 per hour, though might depend on size of house. 3 people come to the house and clean everything...even oven and in-take vents in kitchen. Can't say enough good.
