We have used Massey Services - Orange Park - for over 10 years, for both pest prevention and termite bond. We have a large yard with a lot of trees, yet we very rarely see a bug in our house (and when we do, it is dead). In the past when we've had special one-time issues, like carpenter ants, we called them and they promptly responded to our concerns. They leave a written report each time they treat on a quarterly basis, and they will knock down any wasp/mud dauber nests that they see on the outside of the house. We are satisfied that their preventative treatment has been working consistently for many years. I am a relatively new Angie's List user, and am finding other customer reviews very helpful in the many categories I've been searching, so I thought it only fair that I take the time to offer some feedback on a company that I have quite a bit of experience using.

Very well, the bugs have not come back since he was there.

Their prices seem reasonable. We just bought a home and did a complete renovation. There was live termites and they were good about treating them throughout the renovating process. Once everything was repaired they were willing to give us the full termite bomb. We were very happy about that.

I have been with them for 21 years. Their price is very good. I have always recommended them. They are excellent.

I first contracted with Massey Services several years ago and after many attempts to work with them and correct problems over the years I terminated them today. I should have terminated them a long time ago, but I am easy going and willing to give people the benefit of the doubt. Don't make the same mistake I did. My first experience with them was for pest control at my office. We had mice running around in the ceiling and they poisoned the mice, but then they sealed the office up and sealed them into the ceiling and the corpses rotted up there and created a horrible stench in my office that took over a year to dissipate. They said there was nothing they could do about it except spray deodorants. But and quot;the straw that broke the camel's backand quot; was this: Several years ago I tired of applying lawn chemicals myself and hired them to take care of my lawn; to fertilize, spray for weeds, and bugs. Over time the lawn just got progressively worse. In fact, the areas of my lawn that they did not take care of did better than the areas they maintained! Every year when I complained, they made the same promises - more chemicals. But it only got worse. Last year when my contracts were up for renewal I complained again about the condition of my lawn (it was by then reduced to either weeds or just dirt in many areas), they said that the problem was my irrigation system and if I would only give them one more year and also hire them to maintain the sprinkler system, they would guarantee my lawn would improve or they would re-sod my lawn, since they were then and quot;in control of all the variables.and quot; They also suggested I remove several trees and spread topsoil, which I did at my expense. The lawn still got worse. Half my yard is weeds or dirt now. Over the last several months I have met with them and the general manager and have gotten nothing but empty promises. They have refused to re-sod my lawn as they promised. So as the saying goes, and quot;Fool me once, same on you; fool me twice, same on ME!and quot; I have terminated all contracts with Massey. It will be cheaper to just re-sod my lawn every year or two than to continue to have Massey Services maintain it!!

He's very prompt and initiates their services when it's time to come out. If you have any problems before they are due to come back they'll come out for free to address the problem.

I have used other companies before, but they weren’t good enough. When I moved into my house, I didn’t know many companies. I just used this company and stuck with them. I spend around $44 on the job. They don’t change their price. So, I have continued to use them.

This is the company I am picking. They have 2 bond choices. They do include the formosan termites. I'm hiring them to do the lawn and bushes as well. My next door neighbor is hiring them too!

Massey Services arrived on time and got to work right away. Friendly folks to work with. They do a great job.

Massey Services is not the greatest company to deal with. They never inform me of when they are coming, and I find their prices a little high. I would find someone new, but then I would have to start all over with termite care. I'd rather just settle for sticking it out with this company.

Massey Services Pest and Termite comes out quarterly to spray for insects. They generally work outside, but will also spray inside if needed. They also clean out cobwebs and leave roach killer. This also includes rodent control.
