Mandrell's Pressure Cleaning, LLC.

I called their office on 10/15/13 to make an appointment and was advised to go through Angie's List portal for Mandrell's web site to email the request and that they could probably set it up for the following week, but that he (representative that answered phone) would forward the message on to Mandrell and Mandrell would return my call the next business day. I sent the email as requested. In addition to requesting an appointment, I also asked for a quote on top of the original deal ($160 for up to 1,500 sq. ft.)for an additional patio charge. By 10/18, I still had not received a return call so I called the office again on 10/18 to request an appointment and was told to please try the email again, which I did. No response. On 10/31/13 I received Mandrell's proposal for $335 to clean the siding (as opposed to Angie's deal of $160 for the same work). In addition, there was no mention of the patio. It took Mandrell 16 days to respond to my two phone calls and two emails. Then when he does respond it's with totally different information.I'm thinking this person has no idea what is going on and I certainly don't trust him for the job. I told him that I wanted my money back, at which point he immediately called me to apologize. However he states that I did not include the reference to the Angie's deal in my correspondence. I suppose this is his word against mine, because the email portal at his website did not allow me to make a copy for the record's sake. Well, I really was over it by then and did not intend to argue any further. Perhaps he does wonderful work, but I will never know.

I sent an email right after purchasing the Big Deal and needed services performed fairly quickly. After no response, I called and left a long message and still had no response. They said they would have someone call me and yet no one ever did.

It took several calls to get someone to respond to my first request for an estimate. The estimate came in higher than the 2 others but I deceided to go with them as I had seen their work in my subdivision and was impressed with it. They showed up on time on the day of the job and performed the job which took all day. It was indeed a big job for only 2 men. At the conclusion of the day...the men explained that the pool patio area did not turn out the way they had expected. At first, I took the responsibility because I thought it was MY fault that I did NOT tell the men that the patio surface was painted. It seems that instead of using the pressure washer for the pool patio area...they used the scrubbing brush...and they scrubbed the paint off the surface...leaving brush marks...striations ...caused some concrete chipping...and an eventual uneven painted surface. I still considered this my fault as I did not tell the men prior to the job about the painted pation surface. I even tipped them both $20.00 dollars each for the hard work they did that day!When I paid the invoice, I wrote to the company and explained the problem...and still took responsibility for the pool patio problem. There was no effort on the part of the company to either do a follow up visit or a reduction in the billing amount or even an apology. This really annoys me...especially since now...I am faced with having to repaint the area...and have the additional cost of a painter and supplies. If this company had taken the time to do some followup and adjustment...they would have gotten an A rating....but I value "customer service" just as much as I value "quality of service". I also know that the company should have asked me prior to the job it there were any painted areas that they should have been made aware of...since they are "the experts" and NOT me!

They were fast and efficient and polite.

Great overall experience. Initial communications were by phone and email and although very informative, a little impersonal for my husband who is used to contractors providing estimates in person (I had less issue with this as Shane described he looked at the house on Google Earth to complete estimate). Actual service provider was Tory (sp?) , who came a little later than I was told he would, but was here almost all day and did a thorough, great job--(the treatment took 10-15 years off the appearance of the house). Payment was requested after Shane was sure we were happy with the job. We would definitely do business with again.
