These folks originally installed my pool enclosure in 2003. There were some minor issues with my house that weren't discovered until install time and took a couple of hours labor to fix. They didn't charge me for it. I called them back about rescreening 17 years later. The screen material was deteriorated after years of weather and Florida sun. They replaced the screen with an optional fiber mesh to ensure "no see-ums" couldn't pass. Part of the effort included repair/replacement of any components that weren't up to like-new performance. Arrived on time, worked efficiently and left no debris. The representative that originally sold me the enclosure worked we me years later to rescreen it. They worked very professionally and were friendly too. I am today as happy with Backyard Creations as I was when they installed my enclosure years ago. I will not hesitate to call them again!

They were great! Other than an unavoidable weather delay, Jeff D. and his crew were on time and finished the job quickly. We have a new build with custom gutters, and he was willing to install our new cover without cutting into them, and preserved the integrity of our steel home. It looks like it has always been here, and we couldn't be happier with our choice of companies.

We couldn’t be more pleased with the entire process, and the end product! Incredible response time and customer service from beginning to end. Very open and approachable technicians. Minor details were discussed and addressed on the spot. They even went out of their way to come back and check on things a few days later! So meticulous about every aspect of my install. Pool deck had an odd shape and angled floor. Company custom built new enclosure on site as they said they would. Fabulous job.

Backyard Creations converted our screened lanai to a glass room in 2010. It leaked from the beginning, and we notified them within the warranty period and even sent a certified letter. They have never fixed it and it has continued to leak for 6 years. There has never been a time when it did not leak. I'm tired of them rarely responding to phone calls, saying they will show up to fix it and then not ever calling or showing up, and most of all I'm tired of it leaking whenever it rains. We paid them $11,677.00 to do this and we are extremely disappointed. A representative came by on 6/13/16 and said he would be back on 6/15 or 6/16 to let me know what they would do to fix this issue once and for all. He never showed up and never called.

Awesome! Bill in Sales came by...gave me a written quote based on sq ft. Paver work was done by someone else I thought that would affect price. It did not. Signed contract for them to start; they came on time. Paver Sq Ft was slightly less so their price followed DOWN...I thought that was fair and might be a problem but it was not. Excellent employees. Very nice quality work. No complaints. Would hire again without thinking!

Provider was punctual, friendly and informative. I was promised a written estimate for work to be performed (lanai repair) and was ready to hire them. I just wanted everything in writing with prices and responsibilities clearly stated. Verbal estimate was confusing and unorganized. He seemed more than willing to provide an estimate and I was promised a prompt response. Never received anything back. Called repeatedly, left messages with the assistant but never heard back, I was never rude or aggressive but got tired of trying. Still confused as to what happened, considered it a simple business transaction and easy money on their part. Oh well.

Backyard Creations was replacing screen on lanai and around/over pool for our friends who live in our neighborhood. We stopped and talked to the two men who were working and inquired about getting an estimate to replace screen on our lanai. They said, Bill, who normally did their estimates on jobs would be bringing them some material and he would call and come by our home, which he did that afternoon. He gave us an estimate, which we thought was reasonable, and since we could see their work, we contracted to do our work. They would be finishing the work at our friends the next morning and came over to do ours while in the neighborhood. They were very punctual , professional and in a matter of three hours had completed the work for our inspection/approval. I would not hesitate to use them again and would definitely recommend them. As a matter of fact, we did recommend them to another friend, who used them as well and were very satisfied.

I would give them an 'A' overall. They extended my screened in patio deck, laid down pavement and enclosed it. I spent $21000.

All went well, looks great, very professional, on time and courteous.

Installed super gutter on side of house to protect new sidewalk and to match existing super gutter on back screened enclosure (which they also installed, about 5 years ago). Installed drain box and patched into French drain under new sidewalk. Professional and capable. Made it work. Looks good.

We have enjoyed our screened in covered patio since having installed a few years ago. Jeff and Mark Doherty (owners) have always been responsive, and made any adjustments or small fixes as needed. They are very reputable and reliable.

installed patio concrete slab slanted toward sun room causing rain build up and flooding in sun room. concrete slab also cracked in three places and streached across entire patio. Backyard Creations refused to correct the problem and demanded there final payment of appox 5,000.00 which I refused to pay until the work was fixed and corrected. Backyard Creations placed a mechanics lien on our home without notifing us and giving us a opportunity to contest it. Since these liens must be addressed within one year or become invalid it is apparent backyard creations is t rying to rip off its clients. They are other clients that I'm aware of that they did the same thing to. This has been my worst experience with contractors ever. There management Jeff Dougherty just flatly refused to correct the problem and told me I would just have to live with it.

As mentioned above, this company was who built our original 10X12 composite porch roof. Several years later we decided to install curtains on the patio to enclose the room more and cut off some the heat associated with the sun. We needed them to install a cross beam across the pack of the patio roof in order to install the tracks for the curtains. I had to contact them 4 times before I received a call back. When they finally came, job was estimated at $150. When it finally came time to install curtains, had to contact them again several times in order to schedule. Install was easy and completed in less than an hour. Recently we decided to extend the patio roof to the edge of out desk and over our outdoor kitchen. Again, I had to make several calls to get someone to respond and make an appointment to provide an estimate. Their estimator came out on time, but I never recieved an estimate from them...at all. In the end I went with another Patio roof company to complete the work. I thought it would make more sense to use the original company to make it eaiser, but I guess this business doesn't do alot of one off residential work. Maybe they get too much business from pool contractors to make this type of work worth it for them.

It took a while to get them out to do the estimate, but they gave us the cheapest we had received. We decided to go ahead and do the work. We were very happy with the outcome. While they were here, Jeff noticed that the bolts at the bottom of the enclosure were rusting and popping out. He quoted us a price and again we told them we would hire them to do the work. We were thinking that the price was so great the first time and they were really nice, why not go ahead with them. Jeff told us it would be a few weeks before they could come back out. He said he would call us when he received the bolts and set up a time. So we waited. I called on July 3rd. The lady that answered the phone apologized for everything saying she had no record of the order. She told us that Jeff was out on the job and would call us back on Thursday July 5th. Again I waited for him to call. Still nothing. I called back the following Tuesday, this time leaving a voice mail. Jeff did call back the next morning and left us a voice mail saying that he was sorry that he had forgotten about us. He said he would have the bolts in had that afternoon and would call me back that day or the next morning. Again nothing. So once again I called back the following Tuesday and left a message asking them to please call us back or else we would take our business elsewhere. I have yet to hear anything, so we are now calling around to get other quotes. I was really disappointed that this happened. I was really happy with the way things went for the first project and had really wanted to continue business with them.

This company was very easy to work with and always left the work site clean at the end of the day. These guys were the one bright spot in a very challenging backyard renovation project. Overall we are very happy with the work.

The job was completed as scheduled. Crew arrived on time. Completed it in less than a day. It looks fabulous. Everyone was professional.
