Helped us to install a dishwasher that a big box store couldn’t

Still in progress, waiting on parts.

I set up a diagnosis service with option to contract repair service. Diagnostic service was not satisfactory as the serviceman said he would have to replace 4 parts (magnetron, diode, transformer and capacitor)- and he said so- without even removing the unit from the wall to test. The very next day, I engaged GE servicemen and they took the unit off the wall and after testing, found that only one part was defective (magnetron). They advised to replace 2 - magnetron+ diode (not 4) and charged me half of what I was quoted by JR service.

He was very professional and fixed my dryer quickly.

They knew up front that the install needed specific hardware. Original installer did not. So happy we hired JR’s and got it done right and fast!

Very well, tech explained operational system to tenant . He identified a lockout feature that was activated.

@ days to get the part. 30 minutes to install and machine like new. Wife is happy,wash gets done so much more quickly, had no idea the issue was slowing down the entire wash process etc etc..

It went terrible. Although things started off nicely, after removing previously installed over-range microwave, JR quickly said he didn’t want to drill into tile (backsplash) and break it. Told him it wasn’t an issue to drill, since other tiles were cracked at same level (from previous microwave installation), and wouldn’t be able to see it. He claimed that if tile cracks, microwave wouldn’t be able to be supported (told him clearly that the tile doesn’t support the microwave, the screws in wall support microwave). He was adamant about tile. Turns out he didn’t have the proper drill with him to drill into tile backsplash (almost all over-range microwaves have to drill into first level of tile backsplash). Never finished job !! Charged us for service call, never finished job. Was able to call another handyman same-day who had the job done in less than an hour. Feel ripped off paying $80 for less than 10 minutes of work by JR removing microwave. Won’t use again, and am disputing charge with credit card company. (FYI - JR wanted me to pay cash, because he had an inkling I would dispute charge with credit card company). Bring right tools and if you sign up with Angi (or any customer) for a job, do the job !

Ally, who called me to make the appointment was great! She called very shortly after we submitted our request for service. JR called me to let me know when he was on his way from the previous job and was well within the time frame we were given. He was very friendly, polite, quick and knowledgeable. We would definitely call him again, if we need an appliance repair or recommend him to someone.

JR Quality Appliance Service is absolutely incredible! It all started on the phone with Ally, where she explained the company's philosophy that if it can be fixed it is usually worth it, because most new appliances these days are not built to last. Hearing that made me instantly comfortable that they would be honest and reasonable. JR came by that same day I called and recommended a new part to fix the main issue (freezer not freezing) and quoted a price for a new part for the water dispenser that he didn't carry on him that day, but offered to return in three days at no extra fee for another visit (only pay parts and labor on that portion). JR was extremely kind and considerate with COVID-19 concerns (wore mask and gloves the entire time). Our experience was truly great and genuine to the point that I'd give him a call even if I had no issues with any appliances just to chat! Will absolutely call him first anytime we have any issues with any appliances!
