All went well I have used First Quality Plumbing before always very professional and always on time. The plumber called me let me know he was about fifteen minutes from my house. Actually a lot earlier than expected. Always very friendly and didn't take to long to do the job. I was very satisfied with the work done and the price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend them and would use them in the future it needed .

Horrible. After speaking with Yolanda and explaining what we wanted, thwarting her attempt every 10 seconds to push me to warranty repair she finally understood what was going on. She said she would call back in a few days with info / schedule a quote. That never happened... A week and a half later I call to follow back and she has no idea who I am. I explain the situation again and she said that it sounded vaguely familiar and that she must have gotten busy. Seriously? She promises to schedule a guy to come out and give a quote, things go as planned. The guy comes out, gives the quote and all is well...we schedule the install and the warranty plumber and the services plumber both arrive right on time. The previous trade was delayed with their work and Frankie and Chris (I think that's his name) said that I would be called to reschedule and the two plumbers went on to their next job. 4 days go by and no call. I reach out to Warranty and get Melissa, who tells me that she talked with the Ashton Woods rep and that they had rescheduled the warranty piece but decided that the services was on my end and that I am responsible for rescheduling. Ok, great it would be good if you let the customer know that you can't call your own internal department for a heads up...nice job. On my prior calls, I normally get the "that's another department" from Yolanda and Melissa, who seemingly work for the same company but don't seem to realize it...instead they make the customer run the gauntlet....it's absolutely awful. The warranty plumber comes out, gets his work done and is pleasant as usual (Frankie). The new shower head plumber was rescheduled with Yolanda to come back out today, Thursday the 21st. She tells me that I am "first call" and I ask what that means and she says the technician will come to me first...great. I say "barring any emergencies, right" and she said "no, we have someone else for that, we want to get this taken care of asap". Uh huh. 10:00am - I call Yolanda to get an update. She tells me that the technician is on an emergency call and will get to me as soon as he can. Great...time off work for no reason...heads up call would have been nice, since I was assured that this would not happen. 10:30am - I called in and ask for someone in management as I have no faith that Yolanda is being truthful at this point of just blowing smoke again. I am put in touch with Rhonda and explained the situation to her and she is chasing things down for me, she called back approximately 10 minutes after we chatted to inform me the plumber is on his way and has a hefty drive, but he is coming. To note, Rhonda has been nice to chat with and exudes customer service, unlike the others. I hate writing this review, but this is my true experience. I have had plumbers in my home from First Quality many times and they are always courteous, do great work and are very friendly. This review is not about them, it's specifically about my experience with Melissa and Yolanda and the frustration with this process / my need to micro manage.
Description of Work: We bought our home from Ashton Woods 1.5 years ago and recently experienced a leak from the 2nd floor master shower to the 1st floor dining room. As this was considered a warranty item, the builder tackled getting the demo of our shower and the rebuild scheduled. We decided to take advantage of the timing and add a second shower head and had to reach out to Yolanda in Services to get this scheduled...and here is where things went bad.

First Quality was wonderful to work with. Office staff was efficient and courteous. The plumbers who did the job were very knowledgeable, showed up when they said they were going to, and cleaned up after each day (it was a 3-day job). First Quality was much more reasonable than the two other quotes I got for the job. The quality of the workmanship was excellent. We will always use First Quality for our plumbing needs. They recommended and coordinated with the people who patched the drywall, and everything worked seamlessly.

Their work was excellent, they were on time with good communication. They had to cut a bit to get the new sink to fit and drill for the new appliances, and everything was careful and precise. I was very happy with their work.

It was fantastic! First an estimator came out and he was very straight forward. I had purchased new valves for the bathtub and a new garbage disposal. The estimator was so nice, but basically explaining why what I had purchased was not the best replacement. He went into specific detail, not insulting me for buying a sub standard set of valves but explaining to me why his alternative would work better for me. He was still willing to do whatever I asked, and frankly would have made more money, but he chose to be honest and help me out. I of course used his solution and not mine. It's now been one year and I am still very pleased. The plumber that did the installation was excellent! He was professional, clean, respectful, knowledgeable; I can't say enough positive things about this company. As I stated earlier, it's been a year since I hired, but I have just hired them again to install a new toilet for me. I normally never fill these things out, but for this company, I'm happy to do it.

They were very and transparent, and advised me to hire a tile professional to redo my grout rather than just cover it with new caulking. Even though they weren't able to fix my problem, I really appreciated their honesty and the fact that they didn't try to take advantage of me. They were also very informative about my Moen faucet and the warranty I had. While they were at my home, we realized that another shower drained needed to be unclogged. They did a great job, it works just fine now.
Description of Work: I called them to recaulk my shower and to look at my kitchen faucet that was leaking around the seal. While at my home, I ended up having them unclog the drain in a second bathroom shower.

Rob B. was able to find the clog in the pipe and remove it on a holiday weekend. The shower and toilet now work fine. It did take a lot of investigation to see where the clog was and remove it but he was eventually very successful. I would call First Quality Plumbing again if I had a plumbing problem.

My girlfriend walked into the garage one night(12-17-15) and thought our water heater had started leaking. I called first quality plumbing and they had somebody out the next day to look at the leak and possibly replace the water heater(i was out of town at the time). When the handyman arrived, he discovered that leak was not in the water heater but from inside the wall between the garage and the kitchen. They proceeded to remove the lower part of the wall and found one of my copper pipes was leaking in the slab. First quality offered two solutions, find the leak in the slab and repair it or to go ahead and repipe the house now with pex pipe and provided an estimate. I contacted a second plumbing company for a second opinion and estimate from them. First quality plumbing had a better rate and would leave the walls "ready for paint". Only down side was they were booked till the December 29th. The gentlemen that showed up to repipe the house the 29th and 30th were very professional. They worked quickly and got the repipe knocked out in about a day and half. Any mess they made, they cleaned up after. The gentlemen that showed up to patch the drywall were of the same quality; worked quickly and proceeded to clean up any mess they created.

Did all of the work without breaking any old pipe, and kept things as clean as they possibly could. Steve, who was my first contact, knew what he was talking about. Cost was exactly as estimated, despite the job taking significantly longer than it would have in new construction. Really responsive, prompt, polite. Highly recommend.
Description of Work: Replaced fixtures in an old bathroom shower/tub, which entailed cutting out tile and wood (old building, exceptionally strong construction) to get at the pipes. Repiped hot and cold water and installed a diverter (tub to shower), covered the hole, caulked and cleaned up. Also replaced old valve on the sink faucet.

I had this company do work for me approximately one year ago for a leak in upstairs bathroom. The problem was quickly found and solved by replacing the wax ring on the toilet. I noticed last week that the leak had reappeared . I called the company back and they came and took care of the issue and did not charge me for this service since it was worked on last year.

We originally used First Quality Plumbing thru one of your offers last November. So, when we needed a company to conect us to city water, we got a few quotes, but chose them, based on our previous experience. They were here early the day agreed, and finished their job promptly. explained everything they did, and even came back without charge, when I had a problem. I will continue using them for all our plumbing needs. Thank you, Angie's List.

I called on Sunday out of desperation when my washer backed up into the kitchen sink. Rob called back shortly and I described the problem. He told me it would be about $350 to come out on Sunday, but only $110 if I waited until Monday. I didn't feel I could wait, and told him to come on out. Right after that, a strong lightening storm came up, and since I assumed he'd have to get on the roof to clean out the vent pipe, I cancelled the service. I called early Monday morning and they gave me an appointment window between 10 am and 1 pm. Rob called when he was on his way, and arrived about 11:30 or 12. After evaluating the problem, he opened the pipes under the kitchen sink and used the "rooter machine" to clean out the pipes. Then he checked by running water from the garden hose through the washing machine drain, and everything drained fine. Rob was very pleasant and professional, didn't make a mess, and was in and out in a reasonable time. We've had no problems since.

I discovered a puddle of water on the tile floor of my condo's screened-in lanai and the water was adjacent to the exterior wall of my unit near my kitchen. I was very concerned since a leak in a condo can affect other units and become a huge problem - legally and insurance wise. I called First Quality Plumbing as soon as I saw the water and arranged for an appointment two days later (this is a beach condo and I don't live there full time). I took a day off from work to go over to the condo and was a little concerned about whether anyone would show up or if they would come within the 11AM to 2PM "window" promised. They did. Steve arrived promptly and conducted a thorough investigation. His thoroughness, his investigative skills and his deductive reasoning was impressive. He studied the puddle of water, the wall, the nearby bathrooms, the A/C and the kitchen appliances. When he reached down and felt the tiles and the water, he said, "this is condensation", not a leak. He also speculated that it was due to air conditioning from somewhere else. Since I had no air conditioning in the screened in lanai, we went downstairs and discovered that the unit directly beneath me had installed an air conditioning vent directly under the area where the puddle was forming. Apparently , my neighbor's A/C is causing the problem! What a relief. When I insisted on paying Steve for his service call, the great detective work, and the trip all the way over to the beach, he politely declined and would not charge me. Steve was not only extremely competent, he was courteous and professional. I will use First Quality Plumbing for all my plumbing needs in the future and suggest you do the same!
