I contacted this company primarily based on the ratings and reports on Angie?s List. My 15+ year old system went out on the coldest night of the year. I knew it had been on its last leg for quite a while and the time had come to consider a complete system replacement. Jody in the office was friendly and set up a convenient appointment time for the evaluation and estimate on a new system. I was impressed with the fact that it was the Dave the owner who came out to do the evaluation and gave me an estimate on a new heat pump system. Dave spent almost 2 hours and performed an extremely thorough evaluation. He did an airflow evaluation and found that my air duct system was not efficiently moving the air. He went into both attics checking out the best way to improve air flow and gave me alternatives. I was also impressed that his estimate was quite a bit lower than the 2 earlier estimates I had done, both of which were merely a 15-20 walk-through of my home. I contracted with this company on the spot, based primarily on the impression I got from Dave that he and his company would provide a quality system and perform quality work, rather than price alone. Five days later the installation crew (Jason, Lucky, and Jonathan) were putting in my new system. They did an incredible job and were friendly, professional, hard working. They took their time to assure that the installation and duct work repairs were done right the first time. You would tell these guys took great pride in doing quality work. They did an extremely professional installation job, kept me apprised of their progress, advised me on system maintenance, and showed me how to use the included digital programmable thermostat. They did not leave until they were assured that I was completely satisfied with the installation. Before leaving they cleaned up everything and my home was left in better condition after the left then when they arrived. Dave came out 2 weeks days after the installation to do a post-installation check to assure that all work contracted had been performed and make sure I was satisfied with the performance of the new system and the quality of the work. I whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone in the area looking for a quality Heating and A/C company. They now have a loyal customer for life!!

Called this contractor based on Angies list and had prompt response with a very good estimate. I signed up with Angies list after getting an unrealistic estimaate from another contractor with whom I did not feel comfortable.

They were excellent. The service was excellent. They were prompt and very informative. They strive to make it work for me. I will use them for my regular service. The price was good for the service they did. They were very good.

He came out for a quote on 8/19 and I had an appointment to have a new one installed on 8/26, he really accommodated me and my schedule. He explained everything to me and answered all my questions, he also gave me a lot of information on different brands and which would be best for our house and why. He really did his research before hand, and did a complete analysis of the house. He made entire process very easy, and was very involved with making sure everything went smoothly. The office staff was excellent also and took care of the warranty and permit information for me. They did not take any short cuts, were clean, and were very conscience of my home not to damage anything. Before they left they showed us how to use the thermostat. We were very impressed with how much time he spent with us, his knowledge, honesty, and his prices were reasonable. Their follow up is excellent, and the city inspector said they did a great job. He really went above and beyond & takes a lot of pride in his business. I was extremely happy with the service.

They provided a complete analysis of system and the cost to repair it. He took his time and checked everything. I thought the cost of repair was a little too high so I decided not to repair it and replaced the system with a Trane system from another vendor.

My 20-year-old air conditioning unit finally bit the dust during the hottest days of the summer (temperatures in the mid-nineties). I called Certified Climate Control at around 8:00 PM Thursday night. They had somebody at my house by the next morning. They replaced the starting capacitor and recharged the coolant to get me through the weekend, but we both knew I needed a new unit. Greg wrote me up what I thought was a very reasonable estimate and credited the $331.00 that I spent for the repair to the price of the new unit. He and Jason installed the new unit Monday morning. They were both extremely professional and very knowledgeable. I was surprised and delighted when they told me I'd get a $150.00 credit from the power company and a $350.00 federal tax credit for installing a high efficiency unit. Jodi took care of all the scheduling, permitting and inspections, and even filed all the warranty paperwork for me.Greg, Jason, and Jodi are the epitomy of professionalism. From the outset, I had every confidence that I was getting a good product and expert support. Most importantly, they inspired TRUST. I will be calling Certified for all my future heating and air conditioning service. I highly recommend them!!!

They are very professional. They had great response time and they gave excellent service. The quality of the product is very good as well. They did charge a service fee to come out.

I contacted Certified Climate Control because of the excellent reviews on Angie's List and they did not disappoint. I live in Orange County and I was a bit concerned that they might be slow because of having such a large service area, but they had excellent reviews and a local number so I called anyway. I called in the morning and they arrived, as promised, early afternoon on the same day. The CCC tech David was professional and methodical in his approach to diagnose the problem. He took time to explain the steps he had taken, wear and tear on the system, efficiency of the unit, and anticipated useful life remaining. I was provided with an estimate for the needed repair. A replacement part was quickly ordered and he was back to install it the next day. He even took time to clean my condenser coils without additional charge. When the repair was complete, David provided tips on maintenance of the unit, offered up a card with his mobile number, and was quick to respond when I had a follow-up question. Pricing was fair, without attempt to oversell. Also, they gave an additional discount for Angie's List members. I am a satisfied customer! I have already recommended them to a friend and will gladly use them again.

When I called, the receptionist was very pleasant. The staff are very pleasant. She called me back to let me know that the service man was unable to come out when scheduled due to an emergency job. He did come out the following day. He was very knowledgable and knew what he was doing. He had everything done in an hours time. It was on an outside unit and a very hot day.

I developed leaks in the outside coil. This was the second time it had happened within the last six months. I got an estimate from the company that had fixed it the first time and, then, I got an estimate from Certified Climate Control. The a/c went down on a Friday( of course). I called them Friday afternoon and someone came out first thing Monday morning to give me an estimate. Mr. Hill was extremely nice and gave me all the details I needed. I had looked both companies up on the internet, including Angie's List. I felt that I got the best offer from Certified Climate Control(pricewise and reputation). Considering the problems that I had had with my a/c, it didn't make sense to spend more money to replace the coil on the old system. I live in Florida and I had just spent an entire weekend in June without a/c. I did not want to go through that again. They installed the unit the very next day! They were very professional and were not messy. They answered any questions that I had and were very nice. I went to bed that night in a cool house. I could not have asked for a better company to do the job. From that very first phone call to handling the paperwork(permit), to installing the unit and then coming back out to make sure everything was working right, they were great! I even got a discount for using Angie's List. I would definitely recommend them to anybody with a/c problems.

I received 3 estimates, 2 from Angie's list. Of the three, only Certified was done throughly by a technician using various gages to actually check the flow of air and pressure in the ducts. I have 2 central A/C units. The smaller, 2.5 ton was not working. All three companies checked both units and gave me estimates to replace the dead unit. Only Certified identified the problems that existed in the larger working unit. I had one bedroom which got extremely cold and the kitchen area was not cool enough when cooking was going on. They determined that the problems could be fixed by adding 3 new supply ducts and changing the size of the return duct. They made all of the changes to the second system and replaced the dead unit for about $1000 LESS than the other 2 companies wanted to just replace the dead unit! They did all the work in one long day. They were very professional, ontime, and cleaned up everything. Their price included a 5% Angie's list discount. I was very satisified with this company and would highly recommend them to everyone.

They did not charge anything to come out. They did an excellent job with coming out and checking it. They even went underneath my house to make sure there was no pipe separation. The problem with the air conditioner could be fixed, so we did not have to purchase a new air conditioner. The guy who came out explained everything that we have to do. While I was speaking with him, I asked him about any kind of a contract if they have to do maintenance things like that, so he gave me a list of things. There was no pressure at all and it was strictly something that I came up with. I signed up a contract with them to do maintenance twice a year. It is called the certified protection plan. They were very honest. Five people from other company had come out to check the air conditioner before and all of them suggested that I get a new air conditioner and the prices ranged from $4300 to $6700. The guy who came out from Certified Climate Control service explained me exactly what it was and he told me that I could keep this air conditioner after repair for 5 years without thinking of buying a new air conditioner, which was wonderful. He said that if I would like to replace, then he went through that and gave me a wonderful price. It was the lowest of all of them. It was excellent. The guy who came out was the area manager and he came first. I just liked the whole set up of the company. Their workers do not work on commission and they all are flat salaried and it was really a good thing. I would definitely recommend them to other members also. I would use their service in the future too.

I called Certified Climate Control to get an estimate--there was the thought, it would probably be another estimate to add to my growing pile. I have been attempting to replace my unit for the last 4 years, but with the way I was treated by other companies, their prices and the inaccessibility of financing, I just kept putting it off--until it went out. I was given this company's name by a co-worker, and after looking them up on Angie's list, I called them. I was blown away by the level of professionalism, the respectful treatment--explanations as to why my current unit wasn't able to do the job any more--not just the company line of, "you need a new unit" and that be the end of the conversation. In fact as the gentleman was doing the walk through and estimate, he inspected my unit--determined what was wrong with it and offered to 'fix' it until they could get there to replace it. All I needed was 4lbs of freon and it was up and running again. While I was not at the house when the team arrived, I was at the house by the time they finished--all were respectful of my place, made sure that everything was cleaned up and explained everything that I did--again in a manner that I could understand and comprehend. After the group had left, I realized that while they had put the front of the air-handler on and had taken it off several times, they had neglected to put the screws back in one last time. When I realized this, it had been over 2 hours since they left and while I can put in the screws, I couldn't find them. I called the office at 9:30 p.m. and by 10 p.m. someone was at my house to fix it. I call that service--yes it would've been nice had it been done 'right' the first time, but the fact that it was taking care of immediately makes them even better.

The system works well. They were very pleasant and seemed competent. The owner came out to make sure everything was functioning properly afterward. He also set up the inspection with the county. He also helped guide me through getting rebates from power company and federal tax credits.

We needed to replace one of the two central A/C heat pumps in our house. I called three companies for proposals. Certified Climate Control's assessment was more thorough than that of the others. They also came in with the best price on the most trusted product. The installers were on time and very professional. I had requested that the new copper lines be run inside the ceiling and walls, which was a very difficult task. It took a long time. But, the installers didn't complain and did as requested. The rest of the installation was neat and clean and easily passed inspection. We are perfectly satisfied with Certified's work and the product they installed. I highly recommend them.
