Certified Climate Control

Certified Climate Control was very responsive. Our unit froze up and there was no cold air blowing at all (In August mind you uggh). He agreed to come out same day, which was great. I had a bad feeling that this could be expensive, but it turned out that it was a combinatino of a loose screw and a bad relay that was the problem. He was able to bypass the relay until the part came. The total cost out the door was $180. If he was dishonest, he could have easily taken advantage of me, but that wasn't the case. He was VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. Diagnosis in A/C repair is everything, and he was an expert. I have complete trust in CCC, and would have no problem referring my friends and family to him.

The Company was GREAT!! I called Monday, July 23rd and initially had an appt scheduled for the 26th. With the unit down, I asked if there was anyway to get an earlier service date. They said then would schedule me with an earlier appt if any cancellations occurred. To my surprised, i was contacted a few hours later and they said they could come out the following day, which they did. Mike was great... He looked over the wiring of the new thermostat and stated it was connected perfectly and i probably blew the fuse. went up to the handler, opened it up and sure enough, i blew the fuse. once replaced, the thermostat started working perfectly. I had just purchased new filters but didnt install them. He took the time to do so without hesitation. I took them up on the PM special of $49.00 per AC unit since it was a house i purchased a year ago, built in 2007 and didnt know if such was every done. He serviced both units which he stated were running perfectly. He only charged me for the PM services performed which was awesome. Mike was very knowledgeable regarding his craft. The professionalism and service at CCC was unmatched. I made my first inquiry at 10 pm on a Sunday night (non-service call, just an inquiry) by 8 am on Monday, they were calling me! David showed up 10 minutes early, found the problem immediately, repaired, explained everything and was great. I will be signing a contract with them for continued service.

They're honest and professional. The technician first was very good and didn't knock the other company, even though they grossly misquoted the work. The tech that came today for the installation was very nice and courteous. The office staff when you call is also very friendly.

We arrived home to find the house at 87 degrees at 2:00 a.m. After a sleepless night, we looked on Angie's List for air conditioner repair and found Certified Climate Control highly recommended. I was able to reach them on my second call (this was Saturday morning). They sent someone that day (Grant) and he attempted to repair the problem. Unfortunately the compressor was not repairable (22 years old) and he gave me the options available to restore air conditioning. Since a new unit could not be installed until Wednesday, he offered to provide a temporary replacement at a low cost. We opted to wait for the new unit. On Monday, David came by to verify measurements and check the duct work. As with Grant, he was very friendly and professional. Early Wednesday morning, the technicians arrived and installed a brand new system. They, too, were very friendly and professional, and we were able to cool the house below 84 degrees (took it down to 74 degrees as set) for the first time since finding we had a problem.I would have no problem recommending David Hill and Certified Climate Control to others. They did a great job, and they provided an additional discount to us since we found them through Angie's List.

The technician came on time and went right to work. While performing a system functional check, he told us that a previous technician installed the incorrect cooling fan for our model. The fan was drawing too much amperage on start up. He installed a different capacitor to correct the situation free of charge. He cleaned the system inside and out, and was fast, efficient, and knowledgeable. I will use CCC for future service.

Estimate was very reasonable and the completed cost was actually less. The installation was not easy since they had to replace the old unit, which was on a flat roof. They were very careful not to damage the roof and did a great job. They also scheduled a follow up Quality inspection. We have used this company three times in the past year and each time we were very pleased.

The inspection lasted about 45 minutes. He checked outside and inside operations including cleaning out the drain lines which can cause water backup if not addressed. He made a complete list of what he did and gave us a copy at end of inspection.There was an preventative maintenance issue that he informed us of and we made arrangements to have it fixed.There was no pressure for the fix.

We had tune up service done on 6/10/2012. At that time everything checked out except one part identified as worn. At that time the technician provided a written estimate for replacement and install of the needed part. We chose to delay the replacement on that date. On 6/28, the part failed and our AC was not cooling. We called at 9 PM and requested the repair ASAP. We fully understood that the repair would not be done until the folloiwing day. The customer service agent who answered the call (at that late hour) said they were fully booked but that she would be back to us with a repair update by 9AM the following morning. She called just as promised and scheduled the repair between 1 and 3 on 6/29. Dave Hill (the owner of the company) called to let us know that he was on the way at 12:45 and showed up at our door before 1PM. The repari was done in less than half an hour and we had AC again! The charge was exactly what was promised in the original visit and we couldn't be happier Thanks Certified Climate Control!!

overall the company and their employees are honest and excellent. The work was done exactly when scheduled. I was forced into buying or replacing anything that was not really needed. In the passed I have always been pressured and overpriced. Of course I paid 49.00 because of the Angie's list special but even their regular price of 79.00 is fair and reasonable.

I have been impressed with CCC from the very first phone call. When I called (very) early this morning, the woman who answered the phone wasn't even in the office yet. She was driving *to* the office and she took my name and number and promised to call me back as soon as she got in to the office. True to her word, she called me back in about twenty minutes. I explained what the problem was and she said that she would send someone out today between noon and 2pm. Around 1pm, I get a phone call from the AC tech (who is also the company's owner) to let me know that he was on his way and would be here in about 20 minutes. When David got here, he was very friendly and professional. He found the cause of our problem right away and explained to me what it was and what he was doing to fix it. In the course of the repairs, David found three other issues that need to be taken care of, but none of them immediate problems. Rather than spin a doom and gloom "if you don't fix it NOW your unit will EXPLODE" story, David took the time to show me each problem, explain why it was a problem and give me a time frame in which I ought to have the issues fixed. The prices that David quoted for the services are extremely reasonable on their own and he has offered an even further discount if all three issues are repaired at the same time. Their promptness, honesty, quality and personable attitudes have earned CCC a customer for life! Thank you to Dave and everyone at CCC for everything!

They were on time and did a great job. I would highly recommend. This is the 2nd time we are using this company and we contracted them to install a new unit later this month.

David determined that my old outside circuit breaker box was bad, so he only charged me for a $49.95 house visit. He could have told me that I needed a $3,000 to $5,000 heat pump, but he is very honest and told me the truth. How refreshing to find an honest contractor in Orlando. I will recommend him to everybody. David also gave me a quick quote for a new heat pump, and I was very pleased with his pricing.

Ed called to tell me that he was running late, which I appreciated. When he arrived, he was very professional, and thoroughly checked out my thermostat, air handler, and compressor. He located a potential problem, and gave me an estimate, which I thought was very reasonable.

Our overall experience was great. Their initial resonse was almost immediate and the concern for our comfort until the unit could be installed(the weather was VERY hot) was refreshing.Their kindness, consideration and professionalism was greatly appreciated.

My wife and I have struggled with health issues from the unclean air and thick dust in the house we moved into a year and a half ago. We tried several ways and people to solve the problems but all to no avail. Studying Angie's List convinced us to try someone else, namely Certified Climate Control LLC. We contacted them and asked for their help. The founder and president of the company, David Hill. came to our house himself. He thoroughly inspected the house inside and out. He used a camera in the attic to show us the poor condition of the duct system up there. He recommended replacement of the giant but ancient intake duct system below the floor level. He said the 23 year old AC unit and the 25 year old outdoor blower needed to be replaced. Other services and parts were described and the work was scheduled a week later. The job would take one day and be done by four of David's men. The total cost was $5,368.00. It all turned out to be in an answer to our prayers. The results were outstanding and writing the check for the payment on April 4, 2012 was a pleasure. It was worth every penny! Our internal house air is finally clean, healthy, and refreshing. I wish we had contacted this company when we first bought the house eighteen months ago! Furthermore, the four man team of workers who did the job were a pleasure to watch. Their genuine concern for our comfort while doing their challenging and strenuous work in 6 hours was impressive. These four men actually worked together in such harmony they reminded me of players in the backfield of a winning football team. More importantly. my wife and I are now living in a fresh and sweet-smelling indoor air environment tanks to Certified Climate Control LLC. We will surely call on them again if we have any AC or heating problems in the future.

Believing our old system wouldn't make it through another summer, we decided it was time to get estimates on replacement. Made appointments with three providers and received three different solutions and/or extremely expensive estimates. Deciding to get one more estimate, I returned to Angie's List and made an appointment with Certified Climate Control. Within 10 minutes talking to David Hill, I sensed we were on the right track. After an hour, I was fairly certain his suggestions came from someone with sound experience. Never once did I feel lost or confused in our discussion. He heard my concerns and provided answers that were thorough and clear. The installation went smoothly. It was not an easy installation tying two old systems together. But the installers, Jason and Lucky, worked steadily (and cheerfully) for almost 11 hours until the job was completed and tested. David Hill has since been back to check that the work was done right and will pass inspection. Thanks CCC! We are looking forward to a cool, cost-saving summer!

I would recomment this company in a heartbeat. I had gotten two other air conditioning quotes prior to this one and each time the person was punctual and professional. However, I always felt it was over priced for my small home. I didn't have the money and financing was a big issue for me. Jody from the office was amazing. She was available any time I called, she was pleasant, sweet, and worked quickly to get me started. I was quoted the best rate by this company. I bought a 3 ton 15 seer unit with a digit thermostat. The best part is that this priced includes a 10 year warranty. Other things were included with this as well. I was more than satisfied and I found them through another satisfied customer on Angie's list. Thanks!

It went very well. I called CCC to get a second opinion on an odor problem that I experienced this heating season. My other contractor was initially dragging his feet on this problem, or at least that 's what it felt like. Since I also have another system in the house that may need replacing, I decided to kill two birds with one stone - get to know another contractor for when the time comes for that system and get another opinion on the smell problem. David, the owner, came out himself. I appreciated his willingness to help me, even though he was not the one who installed the system. He said he likes a challenge, which was exactly what I would have expected from a professional. David took a lot of time with me inspecting the system, going over every possible thing that could be causing the smell. In the end, it was clear it was the coils. Thanks to David's help I have been able to get get back to my other contractor and get the help I need. As for the other system, he also took a quick look at that and didn't really think it would break down anytime soon. Nevertheless he gave me a ballpark estimate and when the time comes for replacing it, David and CCC will be on a very short list of company's I'll consider. His pricing is very fair. In general, he was extremely open, sharing inside knowledge about the history and current state of the AC industry in our area. I actually really enjoyed the conversation with him. He also stayed much longer than what I would have expected, even though it was getting late. And yet he only charged me a discounted service call fee. Overall, I'm very happy to have gotten to know David and his company.

CCC's HVAC professionalism is outstanding. 1) Arrived on site on-time for both providing an estimate and actually performing the installation. 2) Estimate was competitive with others gathered. 1-yr. interest free financing was offered. 3) Technicians were very knowlegable and shared technical details freely. (this was huge for me) 4) Installers corrected difficult air return throughput issues pursuant to industry acceptable guidelines. 5) Install was orderly, efficient, clean and timely. 6) System was inspected and tested thoroughly to ensure 15 SEER performance. 7) CCC followed up with county inspection and warranty registration process. Could not ask for a better hassle-free HVAC contractor.
