Certified Climate Control

We called Certified Climate Control because our A/C unit wasn't getting cold. The technician Ralph Concepcion called us right back to set up an appointment. The technician arrived on time and was very professional and treated us with courtesy and kindness. Ralph took his time to explain what he was checking for and what was wrong with my unit, By the time he left my unit was working at maximum capacity. I definitely would recommend CCC. I give them an A+ rating.

I made an appointment a few days out. They arrived on time and were very professional giving their name and business card before coming in. The technician explained what he would do inside and outside and about how much time it would take. After doing the inspection, he came back in and explained what he found. He said the system was working fine, he cleaned parts of the system and that's all that we need. I'm very happy with the service and will use them again in the future.

The mechanic was very punctuate and professional. He checked the cable, the duct and the air condition unit. He also gave some advices and suggestions regarding the maintenance.

The folks at Certified Climate Control were prompt, courteous, and professional from the initial meeting and estimate, to the installation completion. They were honest and up front in answering any questions along the way. They did not try to hard sell me a system I did not need or could afford. Most importantly, they did exactly what they said they would do, when they said they would do it. They really seem to care about their customers. I don't believe I could have expected any better of an experience.

Certified Climate Control came out and he was knowledgeable, he was the only one who went and checked out our attic and he discovered a hole in our wall that caused major structural and mold damage and because of that we are now hiring a roofer. He led us to another problem which was good. The biggest compliment that I have for them was they had to dig out my flower bed to get all the piping and everything out, they put the mulch in a box and dug everything out and then put the new pipes in and then put the dirt down and the mulch down. They did the same with my garage, they cleaned up very well after themselves.They weren't the cheapest but they didn't overcharge either. They are linked with a credit card deal where you can get 3 months interest free which is good finance wise.

Had replaced my thermostat previously but A/C was not working. Called on a Saturday morning to see if someone could come out that day. To my pleasant surprise I was given a 2 hour window within ~4 hours and that is exactly when he came out. Turned out it was not my thermostat but that a capacitor on my A/C unit had gone out as well as the breaker within our condo. He was pleasant, replaced both (eventhough he had to go to a hardware store to get 1 part) and set up my thermostat. He ensured it was working before he left.

I had several companies come out, but this was the only company that actually sat down with me to go over my options and the cost of each. Mike was very courteous, professional and patient. When they came back three days later to install the unit, they were right on time, very fast and cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend the company to anyone needed a new AC/heating unit.

Contacted the company for a service call. Our system was old and not working as it should. The tech (Dan) discussed different options with us. We scheduled an appointment for representative to come out. Mike checked everything out, and was very informative. We decided to go with a heat pump. Mike came back for a follow up visit after the installation. The whole process from start to finish was completed within a few weeks.

On the tune-up visit, the tech didn't waste any time in doing what needed to be done. He checked the air handlers and condenser units on both systems and was finished in about an hour. What he did find was that several of the capacitors in the condenser units were degraded and needed to be replaced. He also found that another capacitor which had been replaced last year by our previous HVAC company was done improperly in a slapdash manner. His exact words were, "Someone did you an injustice." That verified our decision to get away from the old company, who we had had other problems with in the past (their tech damaged the condenser coil during a tune-up, causing a Freon leak). He said that the office would get back to us to schedule the follow-up, which they never did, so my wife had to call to schedule. The follow-up visit went smoothly, with a different tech taking the job due to the first one's unavailability that day. When it was all said and done, our systems appear to be running a whole lot better. There isn't a laboring start-up noise on the condenser fans anymore and my wife said she had to push the system up a few degrees because it was getting colder than she was used to. The techs were knowledgeable and seem more down to earth than other companies. They weren't running around in spiffy uniforms and vans like some others do. Some people might not like that, but I think it's about what you know and not how much is written on the side of your truck. The only issue we had is one that has been common among HVAC service providers. For both the tune-up service appointment and the capacitor repair, the tech showed up between 30-45 beyond the end of the expected 2-hour arrival window. To his credit, he did call and say he was running late, but he did so after the appointment window. As with any service provider, if someone's not going to be able to make an appointment window, I appreciate knowing before the appointment window closes so that I don't have to bother the office as to where he is.

Grady was awesome! He arrived on time and went above and beyond what was expected. I would definitely use them again.

We used the Angie's coupon for a $55.00 prepaid service call. Dan was very professional and prompt. It turned out that we needed a new compressor and other parts which we had them order. Original service call was Friday, and they had the new parts ordered and available the following Monday. Dan was onsite at 9 AM Monday morning and installed the needed parts and re-charged the system. Everything has been working great ever since. We are very satisfied and intend on signing up on their long-term service plan.

Certified Climate Control done a good job, very professional. They showed up on time to do A/C tune up and to replace a unit and did what they was scheduled to do. I will continue to use them in the future.

I bought a house that has a old A/C unit and it needed a tune-up. Grant came out and was very knowledgeable about A/C systems. He cleaned out the unit and checked everything. I was low on Freon and had 2 pounds of Freon 22 put in the unit. The first gallon was free to Angie's list customers so I only had to only pay $45.00 for 1 pound of F22. I will definitely use Certified Climate Control again because of the excellent service I received from Grant.

Responded promptly--installed efficiently

When I arrived home last night, my A/C was running, but not cooling. I shut the unit down and consulted Angie's List! I noticed that this particular company had a straight A rating with over 140 reviews and decided to start here. The woman that answered the phone was so nice and professional - She let me know that they were booked solid (it was after 6:00 p.m. when I called), but that she would let me know before 9:00 a.m. when they could get to me, and that she would completely understand if I couldn't wait. Understand, I know a whole lot of nothing about A/C systems - about the same thing I know about auto mechanics. I'm on a tight budget, so finding someone with an great reputation is very important to me! True to her word, I received a call promptly at 8:33 a.m. and was told that a service tech would be out between 10:00 and 11:00 a.m., and he would call when he was on his way. I got that call at 9:57 a.m., drove back to my house (I'm 15 minutes away), and Greg arrived 5 minutes later! Not only was he very personable and professional, he was an absolute wizard at diagnosing the problem. I had visions of "You're going to need a new system!" and was so pleasantly surprised when he said it was a bad capacitor and low on R22! Greg got the job done and I was back to work by 11:00 a.m.!! Needless to say, I am very impressed with this highly professional, absolutely awesome company!

Arrived on time and acted professional. Took about two hours to complete work. Serviceman stated everything working ok but needed some freon. I thought it would be one or two units, but ended up 5 units. He did not state why it was so low (a leak?) and I did not think to ask at the time. My unit was last serviced in 2009. Also forgot to ask how much freon does my unit hold? Only negative thing I could complain about is that he tracked mud/dirt on my kitchen floor when he would go from outside to inside to check on my thermostat. Would recommend, but make sure you ask questions.

The gentleman came out promptly, cleaned out the filter, checked everything, and offered suggestions for improvement. We will definitely be using them when we are ready for the improvements.

They were excellent! They saw that my air conditioning unit needed a general clean up, since there was mold showing. They let me know what they could do, how much it would cost, and they told me they could do the work right away. They showed me exactly what they were talking about, and got the job done. This should’ve been done awhile ago, but no other company ever mentioned this to me. This company did a superb job!

I had CCC come and service my two air units. During the course of the service, they discovered a massive leak in the upstairs unit and a small pinhole leak in the downstairs unit. They were able to fix the downstairs unit, but had to replace the upstairs unit. They worked with me to find the best unit at the most reasonable price even contacting a competing company for the same make and model of my present unit so that I wouldn't have to replace both the inside and outside components. They came to the house at the appointed time. The installation team was courteous and clean and insured the unit installed met all the requirements for city and state code. They even filled out the paperwork for me to receive my credit from Progress Energy. I would recommend CCC to all my neighbors.

They were on time & I felt that what they told me was honest. I have an older unit & they gave me some things to look for, but didn't try to push me to get any service I didn't need.

After receiving a bid for twice this amount from another big name company, I decided to check out Angie's List. What a differene! This company is all about customer service. They listen to you and make the entire process easy. I will never use any other AC company from now on. I'm very happy with my new and quiet unit.
