Billy was great!! Very knowledgeable about his job. He took his time to explain what he was going to do and always asked if I had any questions. Very polite and professional. Impressed me from the start when he covered his shoes so he would not get my carpet dirty.

They tried to charge me more than the $49. They gave me recommendations as it needed a lot of work and I thought their pricing was expensive after they came back with the estimate so I went with somebody else. That part of it was fine. They seemed very capable and accurate. They came here with the parts prepared.

I called, and they could not get to me for 2 days. But, because they are the #1 rated on Angie's list, I thought it would be worth it. So, after two days of sweating and fans, they were supposed to come out between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. Of course, he didn't make it until 3:55 p.m. I had to call to find out that the appointment was still on. But, weather was bad, so slack was cut. The tech did a thorough review of my system, checking everything and even consulting with his boss. He was a nice kid, very personable, and seemed to want to do a good job It's not an unsubstantial repair, as he quoted me upwards of $800 to repair. Problem is, he can't repair it today. He called in, and found out it would take 8 days before they could have someone out to repair it. But, of course, it would only take 4 days to replace the entire system, if I wanted to go that route. Seemed not right. The tech explained they were a man down due to injury, but truly, that's not my problem. If I had known this, I would have never hired them. His best option was for me to go to Wal-Mart, buy a couple of window units, use them, and then once the system is repaired, box them up and return them. Now, I hate Wal-Mart . . . alot, but I won't stoop to returns fraud to accommodate their lack of staffing. Looks like I'm going to check around for someone else to do the repair. For my first attempt at using Angie's list to find a contractor, it was a giant dud! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ UPDATE: I received a call from Jody with CCC. She had read my review, and wanted to clarify some of the items I had mentioned. She wanted me to be assured that the difference in days from repair to replacement was based upon their having two different departments that handle repair and replacement. They were not trying to pressure me into replacing. She also apologized for the misinformation on the reason they were backed up, stating the person out with the injury had nothing to do with it. She asked if they could still schedule the service, or a sales person, and I said no, I had a bad taste in my mouth about their company. I was going to replace the unit, and I would have to have complete confidence in the company doing the work. Two days later, I got a message from Jody that she had talked with the owner, and that they were going to refund me the $89 that I paid for the service call. That was a very good gesture on their part, and was much appreciated. I quickly received a check for the $89 in the mail. Based upon this, I have amended my initial reviews somewhat. I still feel their responsiveness and punctuality were not up to par, and I have taken the rating off of price. I changed the overall rating to fair. There were still issues with the process, but I respect what they did regarding the fee for the service call.

I needed someone to come out to look at the AC on a particular day and they said they would but I could not utilize the tune-up special. They wanted me to book a service for what I needed that day and then turn-around and book the tune-up. I understand if what I needed done was above the $49 tune-up; just do it all in one day. I also can see if there was a time-slot issue. However the representative didn't seem capable of explaining it in a sensible manner and overall it just seemed like double dipping to me.

The technician was on-time, courteous and professional. He completed his inspection and provided us with a detailed report about our system as well as additional items that needed to be cleaned / replaced and the impact of those components. The technician showed us pictures of these components and explained why they needed to be cleaned/replaced. We decided not to have them do the additional work at that time, and reviewed the costs provided with other companies. We found their costs were significantly higher than the other companies we contacted. For example, to replace the Contactor (a $10 part) we were quoted $185 (minus a 15% Angies List savings ~ $157) by CCC and $60 by our normal A/C company. Overall, the value of the tune-up was worth it, but we would not hire the company out for maintenance work on our unit as their prices seem to be much too high for that work.

They did what they came out to do and they were prompt about it. They ran a little late but they called.

They did a very good job. I was very pleased. He was very thorough, on time, polite, knowledgable, and did everthing the way it was described in the deal.

It was okay. They gave me 25% discount for the part because I filed up with them for a membership. The service was good but it's just that the first time the guy almost destroyed my A/C, he's no longer with that company. The guy that came out in December was knowledgeable.

The company's rep, Billy Schafer, arrived right on time and went right to work performing a thorough examination of our 14 year-old system (freon check, drainage clearance, compressor check, etc.). He was very professional and answered all our questions even giving us pointers on how to keep our aging a/c system in good working order. Billy also checked on attic insulation. We pre-purchased an Angie's List discount coupon ($49.99) that covered the entire cost of the tune-up (which usually costs $100). I would definitely use Certified Climate Control again and have no qualms about giving them the highest possible rating.

Great! Solved problem I had.

We had been away and when we got home we found the A/C had failed and it was 90 in the house. It was also 6pm on a Saturday. I was concerned we would have to get a room until we could get somebody out on Monday at the earliest. I called Certified and got a call back within minutes. He said he would be out in and hour and would call to let us know he was on the way. He called as promised and arrived in an hour as promised. He diagnosed the problem, repaired it, and was gone within an hour. Excellent! Perfect!

The service was not great. A few days later the system backed up and flooded my ceiling. They moved the overflow switch and it did not turn off automatically. They did come out to do the repair but I did have to get the ceiling fixed. It kind of defeated getting the check. The technician said someone would get back to me after he took pictures but they never got back with me after the repair.

My favorite Tech, Josh came out and did some extensive trouble hooting and with my Unit it could have been anything. I initially called because my Unit was giving me that dreaded Code "System Malfunction" it seemed to have dismissed the error on it's own, but I kept my appointment anyway and I am glad I did. Josh was working on my system for a couple of hours, trouble shooting and come to find out that the Hard Start Kit was the problem. He showed me where it was burned out and he replaced it. He was even kind enough to even tell me about the 15% off coupon for this service call, so I promptly printed the coupon, so my bill came out to a lot less that I expected. As always great service...Go Josh!!!!

These guys were exellent. I normally do not take the time to review. Hence it has been months since the work was completed but you really need to use this company for your A/C needs and service. They were on time, professional, knowledgeable and most importantly honest. When I called for the service I had one unit acting up. I expected the worse and figure it would cost quite a bit since the unit was only 4 years old and never used because of it's location. The service tech was so thorough that they found a rpoblem with a new part that only cost $40.00 to repair (Part included) I had already checked all of the fuses and breakers so I knew it wouldn't be a simpe fix. It took them 2 visits and 2 hrs to find but they wouldn't quit until it was right and they did not charge me additional for the second visit. I have had 3 bad experiences with A/C companies including the company who installed the 3 units 4 years ago. BTW an Angies list company. Use this company. Proof is in the reviews.

It was perfect. They are very punctual and professional. They answered all of my questions in a professional manner. They were very courteous and respectful. Based on other estimates that I received from Angie’s List members, they were reasonably priced also. I do think I received value for money spent.

Was runing late, but his office called to check if it was OK. Good communication and customer service, The job was well done. The technician explained what he did in detail.

They were awesome. They arrived on time and were very thorough. I especially liked that they explained all that they were doing. They even gave us some great information on our thermostat connection.

This company is fantastic to work with. From the ladies that answer the phone to the installer, and the final inspection person. I had my old unit checked by them and we decided to go with complete 2.5 AC unit. Their sales representative was able to give me pricing and options on the spot. The original service rep was able to fill with Freon to get me by until the new installation which was within 5 days. The install went without a hitch and was completed within 5-6 hours. Very professional, knew his stuff and was extremely neat with the install and retro fitting the new air handler in. Was nice to watch a guy that enjoyed what he was doing and took pride in his work. A follow on service was done today to make sure everything was in order and to see if I had any issues, questions, etc.. Only issue I had was a noise with the return. This was because the unit was so much stronger than the old one, and he was able to adjust the grate louvers and it eliminated the noise completely. The service tech also swapped out the CB to make sure the right ones were there for both the air handler and outside unit. The company took care of all the warranty paper work, and forms to Duke Energy for rebates. Can not be happier with entire experience... Note... Neighbor had problems with their AC and called CCC and they too have been happy with the service...

Service tech arrived on time and was very polite and cordial. Checked a/c out and found no problems. Ordered 2 a/c filters for me and said they would call when they come in.

The service team did an outstanding job! When my A/C no longer worked, a technician came out to analyze the problem. He spend a consideral amount of time with us explaining what broke and our options. In our case, it only made sense to replace the unit. A few days later, a manager came out and completed a thorough analysis of the system and found some issues that needed addressed. The return air flow vent was not large enough to support the system we had. By enlarging it, it now makes the system cool faster. Also, he discovered a vent that went into a storage area in the garage with no return. This is like having a hole in the system and makes it less efficient. After discovering these two issues, he spend time explaining three different replacement options and making recommendations. We later investigated online and he was right on the money with his suggestions. The install team came out and did a spectacular job of upgrading all problems while replacing the unit. They couldn't have been more professional and cleaned up all debris when they were finished. They went over every aspect of the new unit. There is a reason there are so many positive reports from Angies List from this company. They were completely trustworthy and I definitely would recommend them.

This was from the $49 "Complete A/C Tune-Up" deal on Angie's List. I purchased two of them and called Certified Climate Control to service my two A/C units. Communication on the phone was very professional; they called me the day before to remind me of my appointment. The serviceman came right on time and was very friendly and professional. He spent about 2 hours thoroughly checking, testing and cleaning the two systems inside and outside. I was very happy with the service and will use this company again.

The first time I called they told me at would be between 3 and 5. It got to be around 5 and I called to see where they were and they told me they actually had me scheduled between 4 and 6. I called back around 6:30 and they then said the technician was running behind and would be there closer to 7. That was going to be too late so I rescheduled for another day. The next day it was much the same that they were running behind because of the weather and another techinician being stuck on a call so at that point I just said forget it.

They were great and I would hire them again.
