There were no troubles with scheduling and no additional costs. The service they completed was good. They did provide a very high estimate for a controller replacement. We chose to go with another company for that work and they charged much less.

Everything went very well. I was shown and explained how inefficient our system was due to lack of maintenance by previous owner. Cost estimate was given and left up to us as to how to proceed. No pressures from company.

The CCC Tech was on time and he was very professional and friendly, He answer of my questions, and he did a very good job in checking the system . He also check the reason of a poor air flow to the back bedrooms, and ask me if I want for his Manager to call me for a quote on a full system. I told him yes and if the price is right I will be happy to have this company Certified Climate Control , do the job.

This past Friday I purchased a Big Deal from Certified Climate Control. It is August in Florida and my A/C unit is working but no great. I purchased the deal expecting to schedule visit at least within 5 business days - however they are booking out 3 weeks and first appointment I can get is on 8/22/14.......I am seeking a refund as I need to get someone out this week. I called this highly rated provider on a Wednesday evening as my A/C had frozen up and I did not have any cold air. The lady who answered the phone was polite as she told me I could have an appointment on Tuesday. Tuesday! In a heat index of 100+ weather. I do understand that this is the busy season but a week!

I am sorry we were unable to see you sooner, however, to rate us an F overall and a D for professionalism is incredible. A rating like that is simply unjustified and misleading. You stated that the person that answered the phone was polite and answered the phone in the evening, most companies would have had an answering service take your call and you would have waited till the next day just to see if an appointment was available. We are a service company and we take great pride in providing superior service. That does not mean we are able to see every customer that would like to be seen each day. It means we take calls on a first come first serve basis and provide the highest level of service to the most customer we can see daily, when the schedules are full there is nothing more we can do (warranty and Maintenance plan customers excluded, they are seen no matter what). It would be impossible for me to maintain a staff large enough to see every customer that calls in on a daily basis during the summer without having to lay off quite a few techs in the winter (something I refuse to do). These techs rely on me to provide the means for them to feed their families and it would be selfish and irresponsible of me to abuse them during the summer and let them go in the winter. My techs provide a higher level of service because they are proud of where they work and know that the company goes to great lengths to take good care of them. This means that I will not hire more technicians than I can maintain through the winter months. I know this sounds like a poor business plan to some but I have learned that hard working, loyal employees are priceless and should be treated as such. There are times that you are able to wait for a higher quality product and there are times you are not, I would suggest that if a highly rated company such as ourselves is not able to see you then you simply call another highly rated company, it is not necessary to try to damage our reputation and ratings simply because we were busy helping other customers.

The service department and the technician were fine. Their estimated cost of a new A/C system they gave me was too high and about 40% off. They got the job done in about 45 minutes. The scheduling was good.

The provider arrived on time and thoroughly inspected and performed maintenance on both air conditioning units in the home. He explained issues that were found and fixed these issues. Certified Climate Control did a very in depth analysis of my AC unit. They offered several corrective courses of action with costs. My unit was low on freon and they added two pounds. One pound was included with the $49 service and the additional pound was only an additional $38.

.I was visited by Billy who came in a clean uniform and reviewed the scope of the Tune Up and answered questions.
Description of Work: Checked and ajusted system. Replaced component that would have failed in the near future and made recommendations, which were accepted, to get system to 100% designed efficiency. Considering that I had received a recommendation to replace the whole system at a cost of $3800 from another Air Conditioning company and their repairs extended the service life at a cost of $600, it was quite an investment and I am delighted with the results

It went well. Scheduling was easy and they came shortly after I purchased the Deal. He called me to confirm the day before the appointment, and while he was on his way. He also showed up on time. The technician explained exactly what needed to be done, he was honest, and walked me through the entire process.

It went great! Dan called ahead as requested so I would have time to put my 5 dogs away. He arrived on time and asked if I was having any problems. Then he started in. Being the nosey type I noticed he was very thorough and did a very good inspection. When he was done we went over the few minor problems that he found and made suggestions to fix them. Now this is the part I liked the best....Dan did not try and pressure me into purchasing additional service. So I got great service. I got my A/C maintenance brought up to date for a more than reasonable price because of the Angie's list special! Would I use this company again.....YES. Professional On time Tells you what you need and NO HIGH PRESSURE SALES TATICS.

I will not contract with this provider in the future. I own the home that my niece lives in and she was the one who was present for the service call at 7PM. The air conditioner was not blowing cold and was obviously out of Freon. The tech "checked" the unit and said that there was a Freon leak (we already knew that) and that the leak was probably in the coil or in the copper piping or possibly somewhere else in the unit. If we wanted a more "specific" diagnosis, then it would cost more money. The provider said that he could refill the Freon (he wasn't sure how much it would cost, because he did not know how much Freon was missing or how many pounds of Freon the unit held). When my niece asked if they could put dye in the system to determine where the leak was (as it could have cost up to $300 to fill with Freon), she was told that they don't do that because when it hits the fan, the dye goes everywhere. My niece asked them to call me and gave them my cell phone number so that I could discuss what the options were. I have not heard from them as of today, 7/30/2014.

I wish I could tell you that my tech made a mistake but in this case the tech did everything the way he was supposed to. The service call does not include a free leak check in it, that is additional work. The service call includes the tech coming to the home and finding out the reason the system is not working properly, in this case the reason was low refrigerant. Every company charges for a leak check, we do not use dye unless there is an issue with not being able to find the leak with an electronic leak search. The tech made notes to the fact that he called and left a message and the following day the office manager made a note as to her calling and leaving a message and neither call was returned. If we were told you had a freon leak when the appointment was booked we would have advised you of the cost of a leak search. The appointment was booked as a call that was not cooling and that could be any number of issues not just low freon. I am sorry you were unhappy with the results of the call but if you check around you will find our cost to be well below industry standard, and even more so after your angies list discount.

The servicing went very well. The previous owners of this house we just bought must not have EVER cleaned ANYTHING. Certified Climate found the A/C unit a mess but he cleaned and cleaned and drained the line. He gave us a list of repairs that will be needed in order of priority and cost. Fantastic service! We can plan and budget but stay cool during the Florida summer!

Great...Graham, our technician is very informative and did a thorough job to tune up our AC. he put 1 lb of refrigerant that was low at NO charge, Found a filter on the condenser unit that wasn't necessary, spent awhile to pump water through our drain line since it was clogged as well as fixed a plate outside since it wasn't calibrated correctly. He also provided me explanations along the way as well as a Evaluation of all the work that was completed as per this deal..

Update on 07/16/14: I want to be fair to Certified Climate Control so I am updating the review I submitted on 07/14/14. I received a call from Jason, the Service Mgr at Certified Climate Control, on 07/15/14. I was very impressed that Jason mentioned that he has a daily reminder to check Angie's List. He read my review and reached out to me to see if he could be at my house at 9 am on 07/16/14 so he could personally take care of the issue that we were facing with our A/C Unit. He was very apologetic and empathetic in understanding why we would be frustrated with the originally quoted response time of 5 days. Jason was at my house at 9 am as promised and did a thorough review of the problem. He explained that the cause of the problem was a malfunctioning part that was unrelated to the repair that they did in January and had our system repaired in less than an hour. He apologized again for the inconvenience and frustration we experienced. We were so impressed by his professionalism. knowledge, and sincerity that we are having Certified Climate Control come back on Friday, 07/17/14 to install upgraded thermostats. I use Angie's List often to review potential contractors. Sometimes the true measure of a company is not whether or not they can avoid a problem but how they react when a problem does occur. It was very reassuring to know that the issue we faced was not related to their repair work back in January and more gratifying to know that this company does take its Customer Service very seriously. Certified Climate Control has a true superstar with Jason as the Service Mgr which is why we are updating our review to give "A"s across the board to Certified Climate Control for the Overall Experience, Price, Quality, Responsiveness, Punctuality, and Professionalism. Review submitted on 07/14/14: We dealt with Grant for most of the service. He was very helpful at the time and very informative and seemed willing to go out of his way to take care of us. If I had submitted this review on February 1, 2014, I would have probably given an "A" Rating in all categories because of the experience we had at that time. However, I cannot at this point give an "A" Rating because we just discovered yesterday, July 13, 2014, that the same A/C unit that they serviced less than 6 months ago is not working again. I reached out to Grant at that time to let him know that the unit he worked on earlier this year is not working again. He did reply back that he was having his office look into this and they would call to advise when they could see us. I spoke to his office this morning and they stated that the earliest they could see us would be on Friday which is 5 days from now. When I relayed this message to Grant and asked, if there was anything he can do to get this fixed sooner since we had him service the unit earlier this year, I received a response, "Sorry. I can't do anything personally about that. I apologize for any inconvenience." When I was being charged the $884 for the services performed, they were very responsive, punctual, and professional. Less than six months later, I cannot yet make an accurate comment on the quality of the work that was performed because the unit is not working again and I am not sure if a 5 day turnaround would merit an "A" rating for responsiveness or professionalism. If I was needing service on my other A/C unit which they had never serviced or if I was a brand new customer, I could understand the delay. However, I would think there should be a certain priority level place on service issues related to any units which they have serviced within the last year and received compensation for that service.
Description of Work: Did a diagnostic check on one of my A/C Units that was not working and stated that an indoor expansion valve was not maintaining proper superheat in cooling mode and heat pump was shutting down on low pressure switch due to restriction at piston housing in the piston itself. He called the manufacturer of the A/C Unit (Carrier) and told me that Carrier would not warranty any parts of the equipment that another contractor put in since that contractor replaced a coil in July of 2013. After he ordered the necessary parts, he installed the new piston in the condenser and related parts and did the necessary testing to see if the system was working.

My service was scheduled for late in the afternoon on Thursday. I knew with the storms we were having that there would be a delay. I received a call about 30 minutes before my appointment was scheduled and was told the tech was running late and would be there near the end of the estimated time. An hour later I received another call saying that the tech had some difficulties at his present job but he was still coming as soon as possible. About 30 minutes later received a call from the manager who apologized and asked if we could reschedule. I understood completely and said yes. He said he couldn't get anyone there before Monday. I said that would be ok but I had no a/c from either of my units, he said let me see what I can do. He called back about 10 minutes later to say he could have a tech here first thing Saturday morning. and he would call and be here by 8. I thanked him for rescheduling so quickly. My tech, Dan called at 7:30 on Saturday and asked if he could come 15 minutes early and I said sure. He showed up at 7:45. He proceeded to do a visual exam and took off the panel off one of the compressors and apparently a snake had gotten up into the electronics and shorted out a capacitor. He then replaced it and checked and cleaned the system. It needed refrigerant as it had not been charged in 6 or 7 years. He asked if I wanted to charge the system and I said yes. He charged it and it worked perfectly and efficiently. He then proceeded to do a visual exam on my other unit, cleaned it and serviced it completely. It was also low on refrigerant and he charged it as well. All in all it took about 2 hours and my house was cool once again. Dan said he had to do some paperwork out in his truck and would be right back. He came back in with the paperwork. We went over all of his recommendations and suggestions and then he presented the bill which he explained in detail. First I was given a $49 discount because they could not make the original appointment. Then I was given Angie's List discounts for the parts and also a $5/lb. discount on the refrigerant. The total bill was very reasonable. I have been in the real estate and property management business for many years and have experienced some awful a/c techs who try to sell you everything and make you feel guilty if you don't just go ahead and replace everything. I have been ripped off many times and was very skeptical. I was pleasantly surpised by their honesty and efficiency. I found my new A/C company. They were professional, qualified, and the communication was great. CCC is everything you want in an A?C company. I will be calling them again for my rental properties.

Excellent, Affordable and Reliable Service. Climate Certified Control of the Orlando, Florida Area (zip 32811) gets our ALL Time MOST RESPONSIVE, Most Reliable, and Most Professional Central Air/Heating Group we have dealt with in our many years in Florida - and we are extremely serious and demanding about a Provider's Customer Service " Pre and Post" Purchase. It is easy to find many providers that will provide you with adequate customer service prior to your purchase, but very few that carry that same service commitment after you've paid them. With us, they did one thing most of services don't do anymore - They stood behind their work 100%, and they were there when we needed them most - When we faced an AC flooding emergency the night we headed away on a family vacation. These folks did our usual AC tune up, cleaning, repairs, installed new shut-off valve, cleaned the pipes & more about a year ago and they did a very good job then, but what gets them our top ratings is the way their team of people responded when we needed them: From the general manager, their operator (Danisha? I am probably destroying her name here/cannot remember exact spelling), and the AC Tech that gets our "Tech of the Year Award" - Bill. We have a second floor condo with a great long term elderly neighbor below us who called us in panic to let us know that there was water leaking from our Condo/AC area. We had just gotten to Connecticut for the start of our family vacation, and aside from being exhausted and having to deal with Connecticut's "Countryliving" bad cell reception - we faced our neighbor's urgent call for help asap. The folks at Certified Climate Control not only actually answered their phone on a Friday night, but they were courteous, helpful and a breath of fresh air in dealing with this urgent situation. Bill, their tech, was there when he promised, he identified the problem right away, and had it resolved in about 30 minutes after getting there, plus spent the time to guide us on what the problem had been. We need to upgrade our Central AC/Heating in the next 2 years, and these are the folks we will got to.
