Certified Climate Control

Paid to have a brand new system put in less than 4 years ago ($6000+). Since then we've had these guys out 1/2 dozen times to make some sort of repair or another to the BRAND NEW system THEY installed. In the last 34 days I've paid ($620 additional) to put a new compressor in because apparently the one they installed was defective, and now they're here again 34 days later being charged ANOTHER $140 for yet ANOTHER REPAIR. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! My experience indicates that they do not know what they're doing.

Had an AC die on me and CCC came out promptly and fixed the problem. The technician was great and I'm definitely going to use them again.

Outstanding . CCC installed our current AC 10 years ago. Our service specialist Steve couldn’t have been more professional, diligent , educational and thorough . It does take a while to schedule an annual check up but I was surprised and got called today if available . I was so it worked out well all around . Definitely recommend CCC Chose to purchase the bi annual service program this time so today’s visit was the first of 2 and I’ve scheduled July’s visit .

upper level a/c broke within a couple of months, said the drain was plugged and i needed to pay for a new drain install. i asked why they hadn't done it with install...??? unit installed in 2013 broken every year for times when i have company. Today i am waiting for a new coil which they have no idea when i will get it or when it will be installed. BOTH UNITS THEY INSTALLED ARE NOT PRESENTLY WORKING....and the portable a/c unit they offered me during this time had to have a credit card put on it..... so they refused to give it to me. THEY HAVE NOT EVEN CARED, OR ACTED THE LEAST BIT CONCERNED OR interested in being helpful or professional about repairs. Getting my units to work have been disastrous. the 2013 install is down twice yearly. and like i said, now needing and waiting on a coil for it. I purchased 8 fans, neighbors have donated their fans..... what a bad reputation they have allowed for themselves!! no one can believe that they took the portable a/c unit back especially with me having bought 2 a/c units from them and paying the yearly maintenance fees for the units. I will not buy another unit from them. I just expected better service.....and some personal concern!! I didn't expect to have my units not working twice yearly!! both of them!! and always when i have company! so people always tell me to drop them on my contract!! Not once did ANYONE SAY.... we r trying as fast as we can to get you a new coil. Instead from the service people and office, all i hear is "I dunno ! when.... I dunno!" what about acting like you are trying to make things happen! so disappointed in this company

Retired old A/C system in late 2018 and upgraded to 2-stage heat pump with variable speed air handler. The service manager Jason Bowers was top notch. Our old A/C system had some design issues and Jason worked with us after the installation to configure to take best advantage of the capabilities of the upgraded hardware and followed up with a visit later to make sure everything was working as planned. There was a problem with the fan after the initial installation but Jason took care of it promptly. Could not ask for a better service manager.

Technician was very professional. Diagnosed the problem quickly and proceeded with the repairs. Inspected the unit completely to insure that all systems were working properly. I am very satisfied with their work and I do highly recommend them.

We have used this company several times (2 AC installations in different homes) and each time been very pleased. They are thorough, professional, and we will continue to utilize them when needed. Our technician Anthony, was all of the above, does his work with care and consideration for the client. Communication with the company is great and we were kept informed throughout.

The brand new AC that Certified Climate Control installed for me three years ago (March 16, 2016) is not working!!!! From day one I had problems with this company. The first AC they installed made a lot of noise. It took a bit of arguing but I finally got them to put in another one after a manager came out and confirmed the ball bearings sounded worn. Now 3 years later the AC is not working. This is after doing everything that they have required including paying for their annual service and changing the AC filter once a month and pouring vinegar down the pipe. The first woman over the phone was very nice and tried to explain that perhaps it was just a clogged drainage line. I was a little surprised to hear because I have been paying them to come and services every year one would not expect the lines to be clogged. Not to mention they wanted to send somebody out and have me pay them $109 to come unclog the lines but they couldn’t come until Sunday. So I went ahead and hired a handyman and he has confirmed that the lines are not clogged and speculate as it is a Freon issue since the capacitor still seems to be working. Recommended that I call Certified Climate Control to follow up and assumed that they could take care of their customers. Fortunately this company is so backed up backed up with customer repairs they cannot address my issue unless I pay them an “after hours fee” and even at that I have to wait a couple few for them to come. They also said the brand new Freon pipes that they installed three years ago are not under warranty. And if the Freon pipes are leaking I would have to pay them to install new ones! This is rather surprising to hear since their sales pitch was that I should replace the pipes to ensure they couldn’t blame any future problems on old pipes. Prior to this AC I had an old Rheem air conditioner that was still working. The only reason I replaced it was to get a better electric bill with a more efficient AC. Of course this now defeats the purpose if I have to pay for AC repairs. Tell this matter is addressed I give this company and F rating and do not recommend them.

The technician came for the maintenance even though I reported that cooling was almost inexistent. The technician gave me an overall good impression. But it seems difficult to be scheduled in a decent amount of time and that is even though I have agreed to registered for the highest maintenance plan. Expect to wait one week or more for a repair. Also, I requested a list of price from the company that I still today did not receive. My worry is that labor maybe overpriced. My worries are being confirmed: the capacitor replacement was priced at $157 and that is a $25 capacitor that took me 2 minutes to replace... So I am giving it a bit of time to see if how the repair will go. I would give five stars to the technician for knowledge and being courteous. But the overall company deserve much less in the first impression. I will update up or down depending on future experience.

Spoke with three HVAC companies and went with Certified based on price and professionalism. The job was done in short order as discussed with no issues. They followed up with my tenant on use and maintenance. At no time were they pushy or unprofessional. I had many of questions and which were answered directly and accurately. They were a pleasure to deal with and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

The technician was very pleasant and made sure the drain was cleaned out well and replaced a capacitor. CCC installed our AC system several years ago and have taken good care of it since.

Technician showed up well within the window that was given. They were very professional and performed a good tune up. A couple of parts were identified that were well worn. Decided to replace one of the parts during this service. There was absolutely no pressure to replace the worn parts. So during this call to things where done: Tune up - $69.00 Replace 40 amp contactor - $105.40

CCC installed a new HVAC system for me in June of 2017. The sales professional, Jason, was awesome! He answered all my questions thoroughly and was well informed about the product I was purchasing. He was available by phone via text whenever I had a question. The installation was scheduled conveniently for me and the tech did an awesome job and answered questions I had during the installation. After the install I had an issue with someone tampering with my unit and they were available right away to help me resolve my issue. I also had CCC do my yearly maintenance in March of 2018. They were on time, courteous, and very thorough. My unit is still working fantastic and I would highly recommend Certified Climate Control in Orange City. They have knowledgeable, professional, courteous technicians and staff!

I've been using Certified Climate Control for several years. Overall, everyone from scheduling to maintenance has been professional and informative. their courtesy is genuine; calling prior to schedule time and keeping me informed when there has been a delay. Actually, I believe there has been only one delay ever. Cost for the service is competitive and to me doesn't seem overly expensive. Maintenance is roughly around $80.00. this last time I need a duel capacitor as well bring the cost to around $320.00

This group is very professional. I spent a whole week getting quotes and reading reviews and decided to go with them. Trust me when I say I’m the person who goes to the doctor just to verify my diagnosis was correct ...haha. Some of you might get what I mean. All in all, I must say they did everything with the upmost professionalism. Yes, I have used other air conditioning folks as well. CCC sets the standard!

We always check (and have come to trust) Angie’s List reviews. You don’t buy many AC units in your lifetime...so we especially focused on getting quotes from only the highest rated vendors. They were all good, but one stood out far above the rest - CCC. From start to finish they were flawless. On time, responsive, professional. They made every part of the process easy. We usually never go with the lowest quote on a bid...but they truly took the time to figure out exactly what unit fit our needs best.

Zach was very thorough in his work. Very courteous and professional, too. He answered all my questions and was up front with me about my system. But I didn’t feel any pressure to pay for anything extra. I felt that he was acting in my best interest. Planning to call CCC with all my future heating and AC needs.

Very satisfied with every step of the process from initial sales contact, sizing, duct re-design, installation, and Post Inspection. And very happy with the systems performance through hot & cold weather over the past 7 months. I consider myself a "very picky" customer (with an engineering background) and appreciated the professionalism and attention to detail of everyone involved - including the office, sales and technical staff. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend CCC and will definitely rely on them for continued maintenance of my system.

Will hire again for service, but not installation. Had five estimates, CCC best value with manufacture rebates and best warranties. Pros: Good value. User friendly staff across the board - from office personnel, sales rep, installers, and inspector, CCC pulled the permits, registered the units with manufactures, did a post installation inspection a few weeks later, and scheduled city inspection. City inspector had no issues and had good words to say about CCC when asked about their work. Air handler platform and air return modification was sealed and insulated well. Great response from mangers when installers failed to use nitrogen while brazing the outside unit - required installers to un-braze, do a chemical flush, and re-braze both inside and outside units with nitrogen. Offered coupons for two free inspections for this incident. Clean up not bad but could have been better. Cons: Installers failed to use nitrogen when brazing outside unit per industry standard! Installer some how made a hole in drywall - which they repaired without fuss. Air handler platform was rebuild well, however it was not wide enough to completely cover the chase - corrected with tape and mastic to cover opening.

Service was outstanding! From meeting with the technician and getting a quote, to the techs performing the install, everything went smoothly except for one small hiccup which was quickly resolved to our satisfaction. (Note: this service took place more than a year ago. I usually wait before posting a review to allow for a break-in period in case something goes wrong. I wasn't intending to wait this long, but I must say I have had 0 issues with the system and everything is running smoothly!)
