Description of Work: When I first phoned them for the inspection it had turned into a big repair job ($900.00) and all was well until 2 wks later the whole system broke. They came out and this time the charge was going to be about $600. Since the system was a few years old we asked that Certified Climate Control give us a figure for a new one instead of fixing this one a little at a time. They gave us some credit for the past charge plus senior citizen and Angie's List discount and we agreed to purchase a new one. During the meantime while being without an air conditioner CCC brought a room air conditioner for us to use. That helped a lot since the temp in our house was in the 90's! After that they were able to rig up our a/c for two days til we had the new one installed. Thru all this CCC were very concerned for us and we sppreciated that. ALL the people we came in contact with from CCC were very friendly, courteous, experienced and wanted to help us. We will definitely keep using this company for our a/c needs.

Description of Work: We purchased a $49 AC checkup from Certified Climate for each of our two AC units. We could not have been more pleased with everything! Our technician, Billy Schafer, was professional, polite, extremely thorough and informative. He spent over 3 hours working on our systems and found several things that needed attention. The units are now operating much more efficiently and we expect to see a significant drop in our electric bill. I can strongly endorse and highly recommend Certified Climate Control.

Description of Work: We needed to have three AC units checked ($49/unit). The technician arrived promptly and did a thorough check on all of our units and gave me a scorecard for each unit so I could see what needed to be done to them (if anything).

They recommended the installation a float shut-off switch to prevent a recurrence of the problem--I had it installed. At my request, they replaced my malfunctioning thermostat. In addition, they performed a comprehensive check of my whole heat pump systen and provided me with a written report. | |The young man who did the work was well-mannered, competent and helpful. At no time did he try to sell me a service I didn't need. The office staff who answere my call and scheduled the appointment was very pleasant and well-spoken. | |The first appointment they had was 5 days after I called, but it was well worth the wait in a hot house. I highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: Tech arrived right on time and immediately diagnosed the problem .... he informed me that the fix was a $375 part, but, he also said that he could try and oil and lube the existing part to see if that would fix it .... it did, and he said it may work for a day or for the next 3 years, but, if it stopped again, to call and they'd replace the part for the $375 with no additional fees .... it did stop the next day, i called, they came back out and replaced the part and got the ac back up and running a day later ... great work!

Description of Work: They fixed my A/C unit, there was a problem with the wirering (normal) wear and tear over the years had caused it to malfunction. The tech located the problem and expediently and efficiently solved the issue. He was quite professional and knowledgeable. I would recommend this service to friends and family alike.

Description of Work: They actually came to my house twice. I bought the a/c tune up for $39 because I had a feeling my a/c was having some problems. I was pretty sure the tune-up would not resolve my problem but it was far cheaper than a $79 diagnosis others were asking. They arrived on time and the technician said I needed a new blower (Exactly as I had thought).I requested an estimate and they said about $680. They did not have one in stock so they placed the order and returned on monday. After the repairs were done he performed the tune-up on the system (I didn't expect that) and that included 1 free pound of freon. I needed two and that was $44 extra so I added that to my service. He performed a complete inspection and waited to the system got cold to make sure it worked properly, and it did. I expected my bill to be closer to $800, but with the Angies list discounts it came up to only $608. FANTASTIC! Absolutely everything went as I had expected and was a great bargain. I would definately use their service again.
