Description of Work: Thoroughly cleaned AC checked the gas .installed 4 pounds of Freon .Went underneath the trailer mending my ductwork .Did a lot of work for the money I was very pleased. This was my first time using Angie's list and it was a good experience except I didn't know I had to purchase a coupon first to get the discount. I was very pleased with the technician Dan he worked very hard.

Description of Work: Started with the 49.00 a/c checkup deal, knowing the unit was not cooling. The repairman came out, went over the unit, found the problem (which I had already suspected) and quoted a price. The unit had to be ordered, it came on time, the installer was there on time as promised. I was very pleased with the repairman/installer (same man). He took the time to explain and show me the issues. I would use this company again.

Description of Work: A/C tune up, just bought this house the guy who came out checked everything, added freon, fixed a few problems all for the ac tune up charge. no high pressure sales pitch, no extended warranty pitch just good work. will use this this company again for sure, their number is on my fridge.

Description of Work: Took advantage of a Big Deal tuneup on 7/10/12. At that time Replaced dual cap, cleaned drain line, reset dip switches for air flow test blower and voltage. UV light was burned out and broken and nothing was done to replace it. Advised not to replace because not necessary. Upon returning from vacation, slightly more than a month later, the unit was not working. On 9/6/12 The owner came back and said the problem was a short from the broken UV light. He replaced a fuse and transformer and charged an additional $89. If tThe technicial would have removed the bulb in the first place, there never would have been a short.

Description of Work: CCC Came to service a set of older A/C - Heat Pump units. Timely, very courteous, clearly understood his business. The problem we were having with one system was a dual capaciter failure. The stated discount for angies list customers is 15% in addition to the service discount we already realized....the capaciter sold at the angies list rate was at a 19% discount. My wife will be very happy. I would highly recommend them for your heat pump or AC needs.

Description of Work: Company tuned up my two A/C units. Company did exactly what they promised. They were on time and I was pleased with the work and the individual performing the services.

Description of Work: purchased the a/c tune up deal. work was performed professionally. My only "concern" was that on the phone the lady that scheduled the work said the tune-up came with 1 free pound of freon. I told her I had not had any freon added to my a/c unit since its' installation 8 years ago. She replied that I may need more than 1 pound and there would be an extra charge for that. Unfortunately, I was called away and my husband dealt with the technician whom performed the work and was unaware of the conversation I had with the lady on the phone. The technician told my husband we didn't need ANY freon and my husband didn't question it. I was very surprised that they did not put ANY freon into an 8 year old system.

Description of Work: Graham was excellent - informative, thorough. He performed maintenance on the HVAC system and explained the workings as he went. Advised my husband on regular maintenance techniques and fixed a tiny leak in the drain pan. On time, pleasant, expert - could not ask for more. We will be using them for our annual service.

Description of Work: He evaluated and performed the A/C tune up as expected. They also gave us an estimate on an additional cleaning that was recommend. Overall good service.

Description of Work: David came soon after I called. He took his time and checked the unit and even cleaned mold that had formed in and around the unit. We had one part that was failing. He did not push us to replace it, offering to come back when it died. I was very pleased with his professionalism. Will use him forever!

Description of Work: They replaced the copper line in from the outside unit to the inside unit. All their work was done professionally. They were prompt, pleasant and efficient. The first technician did the estimate and then his supervisor and another tech did the work. We were very pleased with this company. Their work and parts are warranted for a year. We couldn't believe how quickly they responded to our call and how knowledgeable they were.

Description of Work: Our home air conditioner was down and needed to be serviced. The tech (Ed), called ahead with a lead of 10 minutes to confirm he was on his way. He was properly groomed and polite and professional. He went straight to his work. He cleaned and serviced the A/C quickly. We liked the quality of his work so much, we signed an annual service plan. I would definately recommend Certified Climate Control. They are a 24 hour 7 day a week company. Thank you Certified Climate Control for a job well done.

Description of Work: On Saturday the air conditioning stops working and as I am fairly new to the area and a widow, I am reticent to call anyone for fear of being taken to the cleaners, so to speak. I kept hoping the air would magically come on, of course to no avail. I had never before used Angies list, though I had joined 6 months ago, and as I looked at the list of who to call and read the reports, something told me to call Certified Climate, so sweated until first thing Monday, and called and a very understanding, kind woman answered the phone,I really did not have much hope that they could squeeze me in on such short notice and I could tell they were up to their ears with work, but this terrific gal squeezed me in for that same day. The owner, David came out and worked hard to find the problem, going up into the attic numerous times, and trying to find a perplexing problem in the heat, this by the way, was at 6:00 p.m., and as the owner had started his day at 5:30 a.m. He could not have been nicer or more personable, or more hard working to get my air on. Everything on my airconditioning seemed to check out o.k., and he kept me informed every step of the way. It ended up being a loose relay switch, but checked out the system to make sure everything was operating as it should. He had every opportunity to sell me a bill of goods, but was extremely honest , and even when I asked if I should have more done, he said no, everything is fine. I think we all have become jaded by big and small businesses who make it their business to rip people off, and it is so refreshing to see a young man, in the business for 19 years, who does the right thing, has pulled himself up and started his own business and done it ethically and fairly. In America we need more of this. By the way, he served his country in the military, and now his son is serving too. It is wonderful to see such a work ethic, and to know we do not have to be in the clutches of corporations who really do not have our interests at heart. I definitely recommend Certified Climate Control.
