Our plumber Felix was excellent. Our problem was a back yard faucet that had frozen and had to be replaced. Felix did not happen to have the needed size replacement of the type we wanted, so he had to go to two local supply houses in the rain to find the right one. He was even kind to our dogs!

David (owner) came by to price the place. He was professional, and his price was very fair... More impressive than that, he brought some of the materials he was going to use, to demonstrate that he emphasized a quality job. This showed so much when we did the final walkthrough. He ran lines through an old house that had been remodeled. The attic was puny and the construction was bizarro... Yet he managed to snake every line with a minimal footprint. The drywall guy I hired to patch the modest holes he needed to make said he mends repipes all the time. He marveled at how little the intrusion was. I'd hire these guys any day.

Frank arrived on time, friendly and professional, Very good at explaining what he had to do, as the fixture that held the toilet in place was broken and needed to be replaced, before replacing new toilet. Removed garbage disposal in sink and replaced with trap. Job completed in 5 hours, Would use again...

Bad first impression so it will not go.

Fantastic. Would have gone much faster, but the permit inspections slowed things down. Very prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. New drain line below grade installed to accommodate the fast drain pump and water lines moved to opposite end of the previous tub.

They are clean, thorough and fantastic to work with. I can't recommend them high enough. I would give him the highest rating. I have used him several times and I would use him again in a heartbeat. He is an expert in his field.

An A straight down for everything. That is when he elevated the toilet. He put in the platform or the toilevator. It elevates the toilet 4 inches above the floor so that people with bad knees are able to get up and get down with a little bit of more ease. It was for my mom. She was still alive and she was almost 90.

They are clean, thorough and fantastic to work with. I can't recomend them highly enough. In fact, I found something called a toilevator because I was moving my mother in with me and she needed the toilet to be higher and we couldn't find the right height. She wanted it to be 19 inches high and we couldn't find any that are made 19 inches high anymore. So, I called this plumber that came recommended to me from a friend and told him about that. He said he didn't know anything about it but he would take a look and let me know. So, he did some research online and he got right back to me 3 days later or less and said he can do that. He can put that in. I would give him the highest rating all the way down. I have used him several times. He completely replumbed my kitchen and both of my bathrooms. He was here two years ago. That is when he did all of this major work, but I have used him several times. I would use him again in a heart beat. He has repaired clogs, he has replaced garbage disposals, he has reconfigured the plumbing in my kitchen and both of my bathrooms. He installed a toilevator on one of my toilets so the toilet was sitting on a platform. He has installed 2 toilets, 3 sinks, replaced 2 tubs with a shower. He is an expert in his field. He is thorough. I wouldn't give him anything but an A for everything.

David did a great job. He and his associate were very professional and clean. They were friendly and easy to work with. We have hired them again already for another project. Highly recommend this company!

Examine all the pipes under the sink and made sure the leak was repaired.

Great experience. Frank is an excellent plumber. He is knowledgeable and always goes the extra mile to provide excellent service. We have used this company for many years for all our plumbing needs and are always impressed by their integrity and quality work.

David is, by far, the most talented plumber I have ever had the privilege to know! He is an expert in his field, proud of his work (and with good reason) and a tribute to his field. He and his company have done innovative, wonderful things in my house in order to get me what I need for my renovations. Knowing David is like having a brother with a tremendous skill, he feels like family, and treats you the same way. I have hired him for many things in the past, and he remains my go-to person for the future.

They completed the job with no issues; however, they are EXPENSIVE!!! I had a part replaced in my shower (Moen Posi Temp Cartridge). The total cost was just for labor; the part was free since Moen provides a lifetime part replacement guarantee. They charge a $49.00 diagnostic fee that is paid regardless of whether or not you agree to have the work performed. I had a $20 coupon so the total charge was $298.00 ($49.00 diagnostic fee + $269.00 labor fee - $20.00 coupon). My advice for anyone seeking plumbing services is to shop around and describe the issue and then try to get an idea of the cost of the service. I am sure that you would be able to have the same work done for a lot less money!!!

I was really impressed that the first thing David did before he came into my house was put on footies to cover his shoes. He assessed the problem and quickly found out that it wasn't as bad as I thought. He told me the price and did the work. No fuss, no muss. I would definitely use this company again. We tried to fix it ourselves and could not so we called in the experts. Frank arrived on-time and was very professional. He explained what he was going to do and went over the pricing options. We were very happy with the result and would definitely call them again if needed. I knew there was a service charge just to come out which was fine, but I wish they would have applied it to the amount of the total repair.

David helped me choose new sinks for my kitchen ( I have two) and new faucets to upgrade the look of my kitchen. He was very helpful without being overbearing. The atmosphere was very relaxed, he provided written prices without being asked, and was very accomodating. Sinks and faucets arrived promptly and when promised. Everything was installed correctly and professionally. Would definitely use Alternate Design Plumbing again.

Punctual, polite professional with good communication skills

I would absolutely recommend them to my family and friends. They put covers on the feet when they come in the house. They were probably more expensive than the big buck stores but they gave us better quality stuff. They helped us to find the right fixtures for the sink and the right fixtures for the showers. They gave us a really good sink in the kitchen. Eventually, we were going to redo the kitchen and knowing that they figured that we do not need something that would last 30 years. So they got us a less expensive sink so that it will last us as long as we needed to last and also it was a high quality sinks. We had visitors coming so we had to get the showers done and the sinks done and everything within a certain amount of time. They worked with the guy who did the titling to make sure it was done. We wanted it to be done by Saturday and they were done by Thursday. They make an appointment and they would be here. There was one time when they called and said that their previous appointment was cancelled so they asked if they can come early. I told them I do not mind them coming.

The plumber from Alternate Design came to my home timely to give an estmate for plumbing work. He charged $49 to give an estimate. The estimate seemed high to me so I called another plumber. I saved hundreds with the second plumber even though he did more work than was first estimated, and I didn't have to pay a second fee for his estimate.

We have used this company for all our plumbing needs for the past two years. They are excellent. We highly recommend them.
