Truly Nolen Pest & Termite Control of North Miami, Florida

It always goes well. Bruce is in charge of my house and his route is in my area so we get to see him four times a year and he doesn't magnificent job.

Courteous and knowledgeable staff. Great follow-up and easy to make automatic appointments and/or extra appointments if need be.

We have had a contract with Truly Nolen for several years to control termites in our townhouse to prevent expensive damage repair from becoming necessary. Since we are a townhouse building of five units tenting our home is not an option. When termite activity is detected they immediately come out to eliminate it. Am grateful for this contract.

For a year Truly Nolan people came to our home and promised to get rid of rats in the attic and ants around the house. They continually trapped rats and there was no real diminution in ants and other pests in the house. They simply said that they did not know how the rats were coming in and did nothing but trap them. I finally fired them. I contacted Critter Control and their inspector came out to our home and in an hour found that the rats were coming in through a vent and gave me a plumber who was experienced in this sort of problem. I called them and they came out next day and in an hour found an open cleanout pipe in our bathroom where the rats were coming in and capped it. No rats since. Truly Nolan had screwed around for a year with this, and the problem was solved in two hours by really competent people. I will never use Truly Nolan again and would warn others to avoid them. They are simply not competent to solve pest problems other than the very simply ones.

I contacted Truly Nolen last year to do a termite extermination in my apartment. Some black guy appeared and asked me to give him $300 cash to secure future work. When I called the company a few days later to re-confirm the appointment, they told me they didn't even have my information on file. They sent someone to apartment who robbed me without thinking twice. I hope this company goes out of business for hiring such a unethical employee. Don't make the same mistake as me. Use someone else if you need to do pest control. Take care fellow customers.

They are very good. They helped me with a termite situation and were very comprehensive.

My appointment was for between 10am and noon. At 12:30pm I called them to see when to expect. They put me on hold and said they would check with the field tech to see where he was. I was advised he was finishing a customer and was on his way. At 2:00pm I again called to see where he was. Was disconnected. Called back and the young lady put me thru to the tech directly without advising me. After figuring out who we were talking to, he told me he did not have me on his list. He confirmed what I needed and said would finish up and come right over. At 3:45pm I called again and spoke to a supervisor Denise. She apologized for not keeping to the appointment time and said they would make sure the tech came by today and she stated they would "pull strings to make sure I got the inspection report today". At 4:30pm the tech called and said on his way. Finally arrived around 4:45pm and conducted the inspection. Said needed to go the office to get the report paperwork and would return. Stated clearly to me he was always good for his word. At 7:30pm I called the tech and was told he was just getting ready to call me. Said the office closed and he could not get the paperwork. Said he would make sure I got the report the next morning by 10AM the latest. I have never been so disappointed in the service of a company. This was the first time I had ever called this company and everything they told me was a lie. From "he's on his way" at 12:30pm to ""we'll pull strings to make sure you get the report you need from us" that the supervisor Denise assured me. I'm hoping to get the report tomorrow as stated. But after all the lies they have told me so far, I'm not holding my breath. A true disappointment all the way. The biggest insult is they lie to you to appease you. I can understand delays. But just be honest with me. Don't keep lying to me over and over again while telling me you hope to show me what a great company you are. Everyone I spoke with was very nice and pleasant. They just never followed thru on anything that was ever said. Not one person.

Jose and Manny from Truly Nolan are fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble and they treat you like family. We bought a house and immediately saw different bugs around. Jose came out and made us an appointment for the pest control. That was seamless and done early in the morning without interrupting work etc. They addressed a couple of spider webs we'd seen and everything they used in the house was natural and safe. We then asked Jose about the insulation they offer, and to our surprise, it turned out to be cheaper than anything we'd been quoted by insulation companies. We had our attic measured and photographed and they are coming next week to do the job. The insulation has pest control and is fire resistant, it was also such a good price we went for the better insulation we could never have afforded elsewhere. We feel like we can call them anytime with any questions we have and they will answer. The are also extremely pleasant and nice to have around. The main office is also incredible helpful and nothing is too much trouble. We're so pleased we stuck with Truly Nolan (they had been used by the previous owner). Jose is an asset to the company and we are grateful to know him.

The only person at Truly Nolen that has been really remarkable is Ozzie - a true professional (he's the guy who has crawled under the house several times, setting traps, and retrieving dead rodents). When the first "salesman" arrived at our house I gave him one of the bugs from our bathtub and I told him what it was (I had it examined by a biologist myself) He had no idea what it was and took in to his office. He called later to inform me that I was wrong and that he was going to instruct his technicians to spray for a different insect. Needless to say the problem was not solved until I insisted that they spray for sow bugs as I had originally requested. When the technician arrived (a new guy I had not seen) he took one look at all the bugs in the bathtub and said, "Those are sow bugs." How about that. If you don't stay on top of these guys you will be forgotten.

Our current service person is courteous and responsible. Interim visits, rarely needed, are made without additional charge.

They're fine. They're very professional. The man is always very neat. He's got his little computer to print out everything.

I ASKED FOR GREEN PRODUCTS WHICH THEY PROVIDED. ALL OF MY TECHS WERE POLITE AND THOROUGH, NOTHING I ASKED FOR WAS TOO MUCH. THEIR SERVICE IS GOOD AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM. MY ONLY CONCERN IS I THINK THE PRICE COULD BE LOWER.

This should last longer than a typical tenting. Time will tell.||It went as scheduled.

I've been using Truly Nolen for about 24 years, after my other pest control company sprayed smelly pesticide all over my floor in the presence of my small children, including a crawling baby. Truly Nolen uses safe and odorless pesticides and applies them in a precise and inobtrusive manner, both inside and outside. The technicians have always been courteous and friendly and respond to any of our needs. We pay for an annual contract of $395 for monthly service that includes the interior and perimeter of the house.
