OVERALL: Horrible company, the installers were wonderful though, but the office, well Joanne, not willing to help a customer.
Description of Work: My A/C in NOT cooling down, and Joanne from Master Mechanical Services, Inc told me "find another company to service your A/C".You installed my a/c, you fix it. It's only been 13 months and you already came out and changed the thermostat 3 times, and fixed some cable that was installed wrong, and the drainage is in the way of the filter so you cant change it without bending the filter. Now its not cooling down, and i have to be with all my shutters and curtains closed because of the heat and you're going to tell me "find someone else"???And they wanted a survey to say they were wonderful. Sure the unit worked perfect in the 1st couple of months. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! AC Unit type: TRANE XR15 TON SYSTEM

In response to the negative review that has been posted by Member on June 15, 2012; we feel that we at Master Mechanical stand behind our workmanship, and lament that she feels this way about our company. We installed the unit for the customer on April 29, 2011 at a much discounted price for a subcontractor acquaintance. The initial service call fees were waived after the decision to replace the unit. The cost of replacing the thermostat was not included in the replacement cost of the unit, at the request of the customer to keep the cost down. However, with the new system, it needed to be changed out, and we did, free of charge. We received a call from the customer on June 15, 2012 (14 months after the replacement of the unit) demanding a free service call. Upon her complaint, we informed the customer that if it was a warranty part, then the parts would be covered by the manufacturer, however she would be financially responsible for the labor since it’s been over 1 year. Unfortunately, the customer was unhappy to hear there may be a cost, regrettably air conditioning units have part failures and/or maintenance issues.
