Tropicana went above and beyond to fix the sunroom panels in my house knowing we were on a deadline. They watched the radar on a rainy Saturday looking for a break in the storms to come out and fix the panels. Knowing that I needed the panels fixed that weekend, they called me at 5:00 pm when the rains stopped and got the job done. In addition, the job took less time than expected so they adjusted the price accordingly. I cannot thank them enough and recommend to anyone needing sunroom installation/repair, pool enclosures, or gutters to work with this family owned company. Thank you Tropicana Screen & Glass, Inc.

Patrick came up with a solution to my poorly installed Super Gutter. It's beautiful! My patio looks more open now (can see more sky). Screen replacers worked efficiently, as well as correctly installed Super Gutter. We're very happy with the results. This is a family business. Their pride in their work shows. I would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends.

It went pretty well. We were happy with the finished product. It took a long time to get the project started, and there were several pauses between concrete and electrical contractors. The two-man crew that built the actual sunroom were both very nice guys and did a good job considering they had virtually no experience building sunroom enclosures - I think ours was the first one for both of them. Seems like they would have had at least one man with sunroom experience on the project. Patrick, the owner, was very knowledgable and responsive to my many inquiries about work schedules and project progress. He came by the project site several times and gave guidance to the two guys doing the work. As I stated, we were pleased with the finished result and I believe the price was fair. I would consider this company for additional projects in the future.

They were on time and very outstanding service with what I expected.

Tropicana started the new Pool cage on Friday 10/30/2015 and finished the entire job and clean up on 11/3/2015. The guys were awesome!! I would recommend Tropicana Screen & Glass every time!! Very nice folks. Patrick was very responsive and advised us on options for both the color and materials. Not pushy - just ensured we were educated buyers. Installers did a great job, cleaned as they went and even re-routed a downspout within hours of me asking for it (after the installers had left).

Patrick was professional, personable, and his interpersonal skills were great. Further, you could tell he has been in the business for a while. He asked us more questions than we asked him as he wanted to make sure he understood our wants/needs.

The quality of products Tropicana produces are fantastic. Patrick, the gentleman who gave us the quote was detailed, informative, and very professional. The "C" rating I give them focusses on the labor and misunderstandings throughout the process. Price: Their price was higher than 2 other quotes and lower than 1. I chose them because of the commitment and information Patrick provided me where the others simply came by, quoted, and provided no perspective. The cost of laying the concrete was more than twice the price of competitors. I should have coordinated this on my own rather than contract it out to Tropicana. Their price minus permits was over $11/sq ft. I received quotes for other similar work from numerous people between $4.50/sq. ft. to $6/sq ft. Quality: The material quality was great. The quality of installation was fair. Work took longer than promised. Responsiveness: Patrick was quick to respond and address my concerns. Punctuality: We usually received a call the day before they were coming. They always called when they could not make it out. Professionalism: Patrick is very professional. I am not confident in their subcontract labor. I would purchase their materials again and would supervise their installation from the beginning to end. Other: Clean up after rescreening was nonexistent and we had to do it ourselves. Clean up after the expansion was fair. There were still many chards, screws, and screening materials throughout the yard. Some 'texturing" material for the concrete was sprayed on fencing and not cleaned up even after they promised to do so. I had to hire and pay for additional work I expected to be included since it was discussed during the original quote: The concrete needed "texture" to match the other concrete on the pool patio. I am not sure why this wasn't included since Patrick told me he would make sure his concrete guy did texturing during the quoting process. That is why I agreed to such a high concrete laying price. But Patrick told me after the fact that they don't quote on texturing. This makes no sense since the appearance on non textured concrete next to textured would look horrible. I ultimately had to pay the installer extra to do the texturing. I also had to hire and obtain permits for electricity to run ceiling fans. This was a challenge since I had to coordinate having the electrician there at the right time when the installation timing was constantly changing. To make matters worse, we were traveling while trying to coordinate this. I get frustrated with ratings for companies giving them "A's." An "A" to me means they exceeded my expectations and were virtually flawless in their work. A "B" to me means they did what the promised - good work. I recommend obtaining materials from Tropicana but contracting the labor and other services yourself. Or, be there to supervise their labor throughout the process to assure things are done as promised. Think of every detail and be sure it is included in their quote.

We were very pleased with the company, they went above and beyond for the service. I would highly recommend them they do great work for a great price. They also found things that we didn't even know needed repaired and it was still a great price, we were very lucky to have them!

There was no problem scheduling. They gave me a quote for $8,000. I found another company that was half the price. They salesperson was nice, but the price wasn’t nice at all.

They designed the new room configuration base on my request. They removed the existing screens and structure. They put in base wall panels and supports. Put in sliding insulated windows. They added a big glass door entrance. They calked and sealed everything and that was it. Everything went smoothly.

Tropicana was fantastic, from proposal to job completion. Patrick spent a good amount of time going over the options we had and gave cost estimates for a screen room up to a full room addition. I felt we had ample information to make an informed decision and choose the option that best fit our needs. Once we decided, it was only a week or two before work started. We work during the day and never even saw the crew. It was a new surprise every day when we came home. The only thing I'll say is that I wish they had cleaned a little better. Not a big deal though, just needed some extra sweeping. All in all, great company to work with and I'm glad we chose them.

The initial estimate/appointment was one of the most thorough we have had. They covered all the details and made sure we understood what we were getting. The installers were very professional and as nice as could be. The finished product is outstanding and very happy.

I've worked with many builders, remodelers and contractors. My experience with Tropicana surpasses them all. They helped refine our vision, worked with me as I reviewed and tweaked every detail, and ultimately delivered a superior sunroom that we enjoy to this day. It continues to impress our friends and family. Our sunroom was built over 2 years ago, and Tropicana continues to provide superior service as needs arise, even to this day (I contacted them recently to put-in a wall A/C unit). The management of the company is doing something right, and you get a sense of that no matter who you speak to- from receptionist to the owner, to the installers.

My experience with them was good. It was a bit overpriced but it was an emergency. They returned my calls most of the times. One time they told me that they would call me but they didn’t call me.

I had 5 companies give me an estimate. Patrick was the only one with the idea to reframe the sun porch and increase window size to really open the entire room.. He was thorough and detailed in his estimate and follow up was outstanding. Once we decided what we wanted his father was the one who did the work . It's a family run business. Showed up on time when they said they would and when they were there they worked until day ended. Nice doing business with an old fashioned company like this. My wife and I couldn't be more proud of our porch and having worked with many contractors on other parts of the house, this was by far our best experience.

They keep telling me I am on the schedule to have them come out and fix the leaks. They have been telling me this for at least 8 months now. Everything else has been fine, but they have just not came back out and fix the leaks.

They are very reputable and a very good company. They are coming back next month to do more work on my patio. They did a great job. It was great! The price was very good.

The owner, Steve Howe was involved every step of the way -- as problems were encountered they were quickly resolved. His crew was fabulous -- punctual, polite, professional, cleaned up after themselves and were mindful of every detail. We were so very pleased with every aspect of the work that was done. The new enclosure is beautiful and well done -- the process was amazingly easy and minimally disruptive. Will recommend Steve and his crew to anyone.
