We are selling our home and our realtor recommended that we redo the ceiling in one of the rooms. We contacted Textures By Blue Sky frantic because the house was listed and we wanted to ensure that we didn't have a room "under construction" during the showings. After explaining our dilemma, Diane got us scheduled quickly and the job was done in no time! The workers were professional and completed the work as scheduled. The ceiling looks great and we are 100% satisfied! Will definitely recommend to others.

Everyone connected with Blue Sky did an exemplary job. Diane and Jacqui in the office were most accommodating to my concerns and general nervousness about having this done. They were particularly sensitive to the fact that I had to prepare the area myself without any other help. Prior to having the job done, I studied the information and videos on their website, called and had my questions answered, so when the removal crew arrived, the rooms to be done were prepared and all went smoothly. Both the removal team and the painting team were extremely polite, considerate and professional. They made sure I was completely satisfied prior to my paying for the jobs. There was no damage to any walls, carpet, etc. When finances permit, I will have the remaining rooms of the house done. Thanks again to everyone at Blue Sky.

Really good. Roberto is amazing. The team did such a great job. With popcorn removal I expected a mess. When I walked in after the job it was as though no one had been here. The ceiling looks wonderful and I am very pleased with the job. They are a top notch provider. They respond well, answer questions immediately, do a great job setting expectations and the crew did a few things for me that were above and beyond the job requirements. High recommend!

From the first contact with Textures by Blue Sky everything was very professional. On the initial contact I had to leave a voicemail which was responed to in a short time. I provided the location, floor of the condo and area to have the popcorn ceiling removed and to have the knockdown ceiling put up and painted. They gave me a quote over the phone at that time which was right on. The crew that did the work with Roberto was very professional and did a good job on the cleanup. When the workers came they called about twent minutes in advance of arriving both times. I can see why their reviews have all been excellent.

From the time Blue Sky received my request for a quote to the completion of our project, employees of Blue Sky were shining examples of how customer service and work product is supposed to be. The turnaround for the quote was less than 24 hours. The price quoted was very competitive and their timing was accommodating to our needs. The crew arrived on Day 1 within the agreed window of time and went right to work. Jose did a walk-through with me to ensure the place was ready for them to begin and to answer any questions I had. I got to leave and Jose and Roberto protected everything in our condo by taping off walls, floors, furniture, etc....before beginning the messy job of scraping off the old popcorn ceiling. They then applied knockdown to the ceiling. Jose called me a few hours later to advise they were finishing up. When I arrived, the condo was as clean as when they began!! Jose and Roberto were a mess (popcorn and knockdown droppings) but you would never have known they were in the condo....except of course that the hideous popcorn was gone forever! All the tarp and plastic coverings were picked up and they had swept the floor. We let the knockdown dry for days 2 and 3. On Day 4, Jose and Roberto came back on time and painted the ceiling. Again, everything was covered first, painting, then clean-up. The place looks brand new. I will always recommend Textures by Blue Sky and use them again if I have another place that requires popcorn removal. Thank you Jose, Roberto, Dianne, Jackie, Clay. Great team. No popcorn!!!!

The team arrived on time, were very polite, and did the job quickly. They were done hours before we thought they would finish. They also cleaned up wonderfully. We thought we would have a big mess to clean and that was the opposite of what we found. We are very happy with the service we reviewed and we will recommend this company to anyone looking for popcorn ceiling removal around Tampa Bay. I have to add that I requested over six quotes over the phone and online and they were the first to respond and the nicest to speak/deal with.

Crew arrived on time both days, Roberto was easy to work with and show areas that may need special attention. Work was performed quickly and cleaned up very good (considering the mess that was made)

These guys were a pleasure to deal with. They might not be the cheapest around but the professionalism of their organization and employees make up for it, not to mention the end result. They were here when they said they would be here, quickly did exactly what they said they would do, and left with barely a trace of their presence. Highly recommended.

I was getting a closet system installed in an old office. When I removed the 3 layers of wallpaper the drywall was badly damaged. So I had to scramble to try and locate a company to refinish the walls. Blue Sky was my 2nd call - they were able to give me a price over the phone and schedule me quickly. Their workers arrived as promised and quickly completed the work. Great cleanup and they were gone. The finish on the walls looks fantastic - I highly recommend this company!!!!!

These guys showed up a few minutes early, and the team got right to work. I was told it would take about a four hours, in reality they showed up with a team of 5-6 people who all seemed to know exactly what they were supposed to do and it took a little over an hour. The final / finished product came out great. Would recommend again in a heartbeat.

They did an excellent job. They used plastic to protect our walls, floors & furniture. When they were finished, you wouldn't have known any work was done, except for the beautiful ceilings. The crew was very friendly but hardworking; they went right to work and worked steadily until the job was done. We are so pleased that we are looking forward to having more popcorn taken down. We had been considering a wooden ceiling in our family room, but this looks so good that we'll have it resurfaced as well as our 3 bedrooms. But we have to get through a kitchen remodel first!

Everyone I dealt with was wonderful. I always received prompt replies by phone or email. Pedro was great. He was so nice and he arrived early and finished sooner than anticipated!

I can't say enough good about this Company and my Crew. They were prompt every morning and finished at the estimated time. They walked me through the process as I've never had this service done before and answered all of my questions thoroughly. Their work was beautifully done and the end product was a beautiful ceiling sans that nasty popcorn. I have already recommended them to all my neighbors! And their shirts said it all..........I Hate Popcorn!

Pedro and his team arrived on time on the day agreed upon and assisted with moving the last of the items that I had yet to move out of their way. The popcorn removal and new knockdown ceilings were completed in one day. Pedro and his whole team were polite, respectful, professional and a joy to have working in the house. They thoroughly cleaned up after themselves. They arrived back a few days later to paint the ceilings and were once again on time and thoroughly cleaned before they left. Having the ceilings refinished in an occupied home isn't easy, but Textures by Blue Sky made it almost painless. I wrote checks for exactly the amount quoted and would have this team back in my home to work anytime.

When I called they were responsive and able to accommodate our tight time frame. They provided a price over the phone for the work they performed which was accurate. The problem was they said it would be $6 per foot to paint it vs $0.60 per sf. We asked our painter to paint the ceiling because we felt the painting price was excessive. Had I known the true price I would have had them paint it. They covered every inch of the house in order to not get over spray and drywall mud everywhere. It took them a long time to prep which was well worth it. The result was amazing! It made such a difference on the house.They cleaned everything up and were gone by end of day. They were very professional, had everything they needed and were efficient.

Love it when a company states what they are going to do, how they are going to perform the task, how much it's going to cost AND lives up to it. The old popcorn ceilings were removed and re-textured in about six hours time. The team showed up on time in clearly marked business vehicles, taped plastic down on the driveway, thru the garage, then draped the entire interior of the house in plastic to prevent any surface damage. Scraped the ceiling of the old texture, patched where necessary, and applied knock down texture. Cleaned it all up and drove away. Excellent job. We were so impressed, we had Them come back two days later to caulk and paint the ceiling. Spectacular job. This company defines delighting the customer. Would hire them again and again.

They were supposed to email the estimate with the cost enclosed. They never did. Also, the day they came by for the estimate, they were supposed to call to verify a time. I really didn't think they were coming by because I was told I would receive a call from the estimator to confirm the time for the estimate.

Fantastic!!! Contacts at the company were very professional and helpful in explaining their services. The crew was also very professional. They were at the house on time and actually completed the job ahead of schedule. One room of the house had already been re-textured prior to us purchasing the home. The crew pointed out that the new texture may not match this room and explained why. We asked them to add this room which they did for a minimal additional cost. We initially planned to paint the ceiling ourselves but the price they offered was very reasonable and coupled with some time constraints on our part, we asked them to come back and paint. The painting crew again arrived on time and completed the job ahead of schedule. The crew offered suggestions and tips for when we go back and re-paint all of our walls. I would absolutely recommend!!!!!

I met Jacquie Gilgallon of Textures by Blue Sky, Inc. at a Home and Garden Show in Tampa. I am new to the area and planned some remodeling. I like to choose a company that has a specialty and popcorn removal is theirs. I was quoted on the service and we made an appointment for the team to come out. I received information via email with good advanced notice of what would be the owner's responsibility before and after the process. Everyone has told me that this is a messy job and so I wanted the pros to handle it. Two employees showed up on time and were easy to work with. They are long time employees of the company. They taped up my kitchen and took the wallpaper off and cleaned the area and patched places where the wallpaper had damaged the drywall. They also patched holes in the ceiling where we had lights removed and/or moved. They cleaned up behind on day one and then came back day two for the popcorn removal. They did a super job of removing the popcorn and applying an orange peel texture. I expected to have to clean more of a mess after they left but we only had to sweep and mop and dust away all small dust. The guys did a super job of getting the mess out of here. There is quite a bit of owner prep: removing switch plate covers, removing blinds, curtains, etc so they can spray the inside of the windows so if you take on a project like this, be prepared to know what you must do in advance. We had an electrician come and remove lights and fans in advance as a part of our remodeling. I would have liked to use them to completion with painting but I went with a vendor who was going to do more work - beyond what would have come with phase 2 with Textures by Blue Sky. I hope that goes well. I generally prefer to stay with one company all the way through. I did not remove all the popcorn in the house, just two large rooms and two halls plus all wallpaper in the kitchen. If I get around to the other rooms I would hire them again.

Pedro & Timothy took all the popcorn down and applied all the knockdown in seven hours in one day. Based on documents I was provided before work started, I expected a lot of dust afterward, but we only spent about half an hour cleaning up bits of overspray on the walls. You could barely tell they'd been there. They came back a few days later and painted the entire place in five hours. Again, very minor cleanup from the painting. All the ceiling fixtures they had taken down were back in place. You could barely tell they'd been there, except that now my ceilings are awesome! We were floored at the difference an updated ceiling makes. We're so glad we decided to do this before having crown molding installed in the house. One bit of advice: if you're painting your walls *and* having your ceilings done, do the ceilings first. Then you won't have any wall cleanup at all. We will happily recommend you guys to anyone that needs ceiling or wall work done.
