They've been around a long time. They have different services, but they were out yesterday to do the outside pest prevention. So they do pest prevention every quarter and then they do the lawn service every month. I don't have any bugs in here. Their price is competitive. They all have pretty much the same pricing. If I have any problems, I've had them before, because they only come out for pest prevention once a quarter. So if you get a lot of rain or something sometimes you'll get little ants coming in so sometimes between services I'll call them and they'll come right out. They don't charge anything for it because they guarantee that they won't come in even though it's not their fault. They never give me times they just tell me what day they're coming. They'll call the day before and say they're coming in for the lawn service because I have to unlock my back gate for them to get around to the back. So they show up the next day. They've never called and said they were coming out and then not shown up. I still use them.

I have had them for about 12 to 14 years, so I keep using them. I guess the price is okay, I never checked it. I have had them that long and they have never changed the price, so I figured if he hasn’t upped it, I didn’t need to check. Sometimes they show up before they are supposed to. It takes probably a half an hour, they are in and out. They don’t clean it up because they are putting the spray down and they leave it. I guess I keep going back to them because it is more of a habit. I have had them and they have been doing alright and we haven’t been having any pest. It works, don’t break it. If I broke it, don’t change it.

I cannot begin to convey how dissatisfied and unhappy we are with Massey Services Pest Control in Lakeland, FL over the past year. In chronological order: 1) We had a horrible smell in our attic, obviously something got up there and died. They sent out two different technicians three times total, each time they claimed to not find anything in the attic while the odor continued. One of the technicians also stepped off a beam in the attic and almost put their foot through the garage ceiling, leaving a large crack/hole in the ceiling. 2) After being out of town for one night, we can home to blow flies in our house. Obviously what was in our attic was still there and getting riper by the day. I called Massey again and asked that they send out a manager that knew what they were doing to remove whatever was up there. 3) A supervisor came out and found a dead possum; it was exactly in the spot we had told the previous technicians it was in. I also showed the ceiling damage to the supervisor, he said they would take care of it and send someone out. 4) I heard nothing from a Massey repairman re the garage ceiling, called the supervisor after over a month to inquire about the repair. He said that he had to take photos of the damage, came out again. If I had not called him, nothing would have been done. 5) Well over another month went by with no calls from repairmen; I called to cancel our account due to the extreme poor customer service, however, the supervisor was put on the phone and said he was trying to find someone qualified/licensed to perform the repair (it can't be that difficult, there are countless handymen in Polk co). 6) Several weeks and phone calls went by before I was finally put in touch with a handyman. We talked on the phone and exchanged messages to set up a time for him to come by the house to look at the repair. After he missed two appointments to look at the damage, I called Massey once again to inquire if we could hire our handyman for the job. They agreed. 7) Within days our handyman and the Massey supervisor met at our house to assess the damage, obtain a quote and verify the handyman's licenses. Massey supervisor ok'd the quote and work at the same meeting, handyman came out first thing next morning to perform the service and submitted invoice to Massey that day. 8) Spoke with the Massey supervisor the next day to verify that the work had been done to our satisfaction, Massey supervisor said that he had already submitted the invoice (for only $75 - it should have been paid w/in the week for such a small amount!) and it would be paid quickly. 9) I had been withholding quarterly payment to Massey until the repair was taken care of. Within one day of the repair being made I received daily harassing calls from Massey requesting payment. I submitted payment within three days and assured them over the phone they would receive the check by the next day, however, the Massey employee over the phone was extremely rude even after being told that payment had been submitted. It was due to their extremely poor customer service that payment had been withheld and I was being harassed? 10) One month later and our handyman still has not been paid the $75. I called Massey today to inquire about his payment and strongly stated that no service be performed on our house until he receives payment, that Massey would not receive payment for services performed if they were performed without my ok (our annual termite contract renews in Sept, Massey has a habit of performing services immediately prior to renewal to ensure renewal and payment for services.) Jo at Massey said she made a note of my request on the account. Overall, I am astounded by their rudeness, horrible customer service as well as despicable business practices. The location manager, Willie Davey, is conveniently out of the office during every call I have made to them over the last year - no wonder the business is run so poorly if he's never there! I would not recommend Massey Services Pest Control Lakeland location to anyone interested.

AMAZING! That hard to find these days. We were very impressed from the quote all the way through to the inspection. The price was fair, the quality of work is amazing! We literally did not have any problems at all.

It's a big corporation. My wife handles all the bills. They keep missing weeds and I have to keep calling them. I didn't have them come this year because we have a sink old house and they ripped off some of the vegetation. We are waiting to put the vegetation back in so then he can do his thing and so that it does not disturb the earth. His quality is as good as anyone else. They come automatically so I don't ask them to come. We are not here at lot of times. This house runs itself. They are quite professional, I do not doubt that. I just doubt where they put the chemicals. They miss spots. If I call them and say that they missed spots, they will come right back out again.

They do a great job. They are professional and easy to work with.

It has been an excellent experience.

They come out and put steaks in the ground instead of spraying for termites. I like that because it is not anything I have seen others use. I have been pleased overall with my experience with them.

I've used their services for the past ten years now. They have a couple of technicians that we've really gotten to used to and they service us very well. My wife is really happy with them as well.
