Larin and his partner were punctual, efficient and professional. I had removed all breakables as requested, as well as all pictures and paintings. They carefully moved the furniture, covered it in plastic and used canvas dropcloths on the floors. There was no mess at all. They repaired all problems with the walls and retextured those areas. I am very pleased with their work and highly recommend them.

I didn't want to mess around with a subcontractor after a poor experience at a prior house. I wanted to deal with one person. I called for a quote and Larin called me back, Larin came to give the quote and Larin painted. Very personable, professional and clean. I would certainly recommend and use again. The house looks great and feels so much warmer after getting the standard new home eggshell color off the walls that most builders use.

Our home was a bit more difficult than most given the height and the amount of wood damage that needed to be repaired. I had to have Larin stop for about a month while we tried to find a carpenter to repair the damaged pieces of the home. He was willing to work with me on that problem and then complete the work.

Larin is an excellent old school painter he uses a roller and a brush and is very careful and thorough. He also did some stucco patching and outdoor porch drywall ceiling patching and although not flawless we were quite satisfied with the overall job. The painting itself was excellent. When I asked him to do substantial additional work beyond the original estimate he did it without hesitation and charged me a reasonable price for the extra work. He is punctual and reliable and although not inexpensive I don't think any good painters are these days. I had to wait 9 weeks to get him as he is in demand and rightly so. He works alone so you know what you are getting and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. He also uses only top of the line porter "permanizer" paint which is included in his estimate.

Mr. Ezra was prompt, courteous and a great communicator from beginning to end. The work was of the highest quality and done exactly how we wanted. I would have him repaint my entire house when we are ready. He is outstanding.

It was a good professional job

I was very pleased with Larin's work. He is an old school painter, paints only with brushes and rollers, and has an incredibly steady hand. This guy does not NEED to use tape! He is detailed, as a result, he paints more slowly than most, but I found it worth the wait. He is also a very pleasant guy to have around. He began with the exterior of my home. He was very flexible when I did not like the first color we tried and helped me select another color, he has a good eye for colors. His prep was not as thorough as some I have seen, but his experienced approach resulted in a good end result for my home. There were a couple of occasions during my project where he got sick, or had a family emergency and did not come as expected, but he did call each time, and my project was completed pretty close to on schedule. Inside I had him do some repair and texturing of a couple of walls, they turned out OK, but a couple were not as pristine as I had hoped. In addition, upon close examination, the ceiling paint in a couple of my rooms has some thin areas. To his credit, anytime I pointed out something he missed, he was extremely amenable to correcting it. There aren't many painters like Larin out there anymore.

Got the estimate in September 2013, and I accepted the estimate in October. He explained that he was a single person operation and it would be at least January 2014, before he could get to my job. He was good for his word and he started painting in late January and early February. Except for some rain delays, the job was finished on time. The house looks great. Larin Ezra is a very pleasant person and the quality of the work is good.

He did a great job. He did what he said he would do. He did not try to upcharge us.

He works alone and from start to finish his work is "excellent". Larin painted the entire exterior of our house from top to bottom without a problem. He was punctual, professional and affordable. I count myself extremely fortunate to have contracted him and highly recommed him to anyone looking for a painting contractor! It is extremely rare in today's society to find a contractor like Larin Ezra that takes great pride in his work.

Larin Ezra is our "go to" guy for interior and exterior painting. He's dependable, reasonably priced and does HIGH QUALITY work. We've partnered with him for several years and will not use anyone else (unless he retires!).

Outstanding job, there is such a dramatic difference that you would have to see a picture to fully comprehend the difference. He came highly recommended from a decorator; If you have older kitchen or bathroom cabinets I would highly recommend his services. He is very professional and goes above and beyond the call of duty. I would highly, highly recommend him.

We were so fortunate that Larin was available to begin painting our home prior to our move-in date on Dec. 18. At first we thought he would only be able to finish a few rooms due to his busy schedule, but thanks to to a cancellation he was able to complete the interior over the last week of December, with only a few days off for the holiday. As always, Larin was completely professional, quick, immaculately clean and precise. He was so very helpful to me in selecting colors and choosing the right contrasting effects. This is second time in three years that we have hired Larin to paint the interior of one of our homes. He is absolutely terrific!

Great experience. All work was peformed by Larin, owner, and was completed in a very professional manner. He is quite a meticulous craftman. He provided advise about areas that needed correction due to way house was contructed - on angles. He keep appointments promptly. I highly recommend Larin.

Larin first came out to give the estimate. After we accepted the estimate, we called Larin and scheduled the job. We even called him to get his opinion on some colors. I didn't have to do anything to prepare. He moved things out of the way when needed. When he was done, he moved everything back where it was. You couldn't tell that he had moved things. He showed up every day for the job. He is meticulous in his work. In a nut shell: 1. Would I use him again? Absolutely2. Would I recommend him? Without hesitation

The work was superb!!! Not only did he come out and do the work but he worked with me giving me options and showing me the different techniques he could use, letting me decide on which one I preferred. I had decided I wanted Gold ceilings and although he had not worked much with the metalic paint, he became an artist as soon as he started. Not only did he paint the ceilings but the molding that went around it and had to be taped which caused some to chip off. He made a special trip to get the matching paint (moldings had been painted over 20 years ago) and was back within an hour. The whole process took from 8am to 2pm and then he cleaned up completely...What a joy it was to have him in our home. We can't wait until he returns to do the other "artistic" painting we need to do in the dining room, lani and exterior of our home. Wouldn't trust this to anyone else.

He even came back on a Saturday morning to paint the trim and ensure the job was complete. We interviewed several painters before hiring Larin, and would use him again without hesitation.

This gentleman took his time and did an absolute professional job. He was open to any suggestions that I had, which were few, and I will definitely have him back when the need arises. Very easy to talk to. Advice was freely givien on the care of the finishes.
