A BIG SHOUT OUT TO GENERX FOR THEIR RESPONSE TO US DURING HURRICANE IRMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...They responded to our questions immediately and the technician assured us he would be on call any time we needed him. Thanks to their expert service over the years, our 9 year old generator powered our whole house for SEVEN DAYS!

Thursday night we were testing the new generator. Never had a moment of doubt nor worry.

Called them up that morning and they were out within hours. Turned out I had run out of propane and they couldn't test it till I had some. Stupid on my part for not checking the tanks. They ended up waiving the $128 service fee. Thanks to everyone at Generx. You have s customer for life and I will tell all my friends.

Generx is a very, very incompetent generator. It rusted out and the main generator producing part of the whole mechanism failed. They wouldn't cover it under warranty. After I got it fixed, I sold it. I was real disappointed with it. The quality is extremely poor. They came out and repaired it. Generx would not warranty the system. I don't know why it failed. The company that came out kept telling me they would come out on Friday. They were very poor service-wise. They would say they would be there on Friday and they wouldn't show up. The people who installed it were extremely incompetent and not truthful. It's extremely poor quality and the one I've got now, from another company, is much better.

Stephen was fantastic; able to diagnose as well as resolve the issue with transfer of power from the generator to the home. Also serviced the unit as well; was extremely informative and kept up updated throughout the process. A+

I would give them a 5 star or a 10 if you have it. They are excellent. They also do a tank of water heater. They were excellent.We have a service contract with them and it is all included. A are for everything they are amazing. They do everything they pull the permits for you and install the tank, they do everything.

What a great experience working with all all Generex employees. They are a self contained company with no subs Initial service estimate by "KJ" was clear,concise, and responsive. Generex takes care of the entire process from permitting to coordination with TECO. The installation was on-time, with a knowledgeable and professional crew who specialized in their various tasks. The entire installation which required placing the generator, digging the trench for the electrical distribution line, running the cable through the crawl space, rewiring of the main electrical panel and installing the controller was accomplished in a single day. They did all they could do before disconnecting power to rewire the panel. They had all parts and equipment required for the job which indicates excellent planning. An appointment was made for a tech to come by and explain all of the process of power failure, start up of generator, and activation of unit. Rob was friendly, clear, and used explanations that I could understand! If you are thinking home generator think Generex of Oldsmar.

I was amazed at the smooth coordination between crews for all aspects of the installation, mechanical, electrical and LP tank. They also applied for permits and arranged the inspectors visits. There were two items I appreciated especially. First the advice of field engineer KJ Autullo who answered all my questions promptly, patiently and competently. Second, the communication with the office and Cole in particular. Someone picked up the phone each time I called, no dialing 1-to umpteen from an automated menu. Then, all matters were addressed immediately and glitches remedied. The clear user explanation after the installation by Rob was also much appreciated. I am so glad I went with this company, the generator installation went flawlessly!

Matt from Generx was very polite and very professional. I have never dealt with a generator (40kw), so i was very impressed with how Matt and Generx walked me through how the generator works and how it functions. They tested the generator and it worked wonderfully. The reason I am writing my review today is that we lost power last night (6:00pm). Our generator started as expected and has been running without any problems since. With the flooding that we received from Hurrican Hermine, having the generator in working condition was a top priority (several sump pumps on property). I am very glad that I had Generx Generators service my unit to ensure my family is safe and comfortable during this storm.

This company is professional, accommodating, and service oriented. I own a business, and my expectations are high when it comes to service. They were able to do my install in one day, which was necessary for me. They checked everything thoroughly, and went over all with me after the install. You can not go wrong by choosing this company to do business with!

Service call and labor excessive. ..10 minute job. We were promised an estimate we never received for replacing a rusty base for the generator. Will use them next time because they seemed to know what they were doing and we have a Generx generator.

The staff of Generx Generators, Inc. were amazing to work with. Every single person was professional, courteous, and helpful. This includes the young men who came and set the generator all the way through to the person who provided the final instructions on how to use the system. They did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it, and did it all with a smile. It is obvious that they all enjoy what they do and whom they work for. The work performed was beautiful and they never cut any corners. The electricians took the extra time to route everything so that there was no unsightly conduit anywhere. They took the time to do the job right, even though it meant more work for them, in a hot attic, I might add. We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Generx Generators, Inc. Generx Generators is an AWESOME company to do business with. We were looking for a whole-house stand-by generator and were fortunate to locate this company on the web. They are located in our home city of Oldsmar, FL and are centrally located in the Tampa Bay area. Mark Costis, owner/operator of Generx and Suzanne Majka Ferro, field engineer were our first contacts. They were very prompt in coming to our home and educating us on the Generac generators. They answered all our questions on the different modes and prices available clearly. We were presented a contract the same day. Dale Jarosz and his crew installed the concrete pads, generator. He arranged for the electrical work to be done and the propane setup. They installed the propane tanks and had them filled. He obtained all the permits and inspections required as well. This crew did an EXTREMELY clean and neat installation for us. Rob Schwehbert, Director of operations, was very patient and accommodating in arranging an appointment for him to fire up and text the system and educate us on how it works. We have rarely had the pleasure of doing business with such a professional, congenial and competent company! We would HIGHLY recommend Generx Generators to anyone interested in investing in a residential or small business generator.

it went great!! he was surprisingly a little early and very professional. he answered all our questions and was very patient with us if we needed to understand something...with hurricane season started we wanted to know that our generator was working perfectly just in case we do get a storm this year. we feel comfortable now. we also appreciated that he offered to come out on a Saturday so as to accommodate our time limitations. we will use this company again and tell our friends about it.....
