On January 4, 2011 Friend's Plumbing came by to investigate a water heater leak. I contacted Friend's Plumbing because they installed a new AO water heater in November 2005. When the service guy came, he verified the water heater leak in the top and bottom of the heater. He noticed the installation date I wrote on the label and called his supervisor. He then informed me that the manufacturer's warranty on the water heater expired on November 2011, two months too late. I questioned the quality of the water heater lasting only six years when the previous one lasted 30 years. I asked for a quote and was given one of $800. I was appauled and asked him to leave without paying the $45 trip fee. I then went to Lowe's and purchased a larger (38-gallon) water heater for $258. What a rip off for a customer who maintains a maintenance contract and provider of all plumbing needs. I will not use this company again.

The service people are very good and prompt at getting out. They came within an hour after I called on a previous problem. They are the only plumber I will use so will use them again in the future.

Discovered leak under kitchen sink and I was unable to fix it myself due to tight space. Plumber came and with a little strugle was able to replace and tighten the compression ring. Great service, friendly plumber and worked quickly.

I have used Friend's for the past 8 years or so for various plumbing projects (inside and outside the house) without any problems. I definitely recommend them to others.

We were very pleased with our work. I would highly recommend them. First off, they are timely to respond. Their employees are very professional and competent. They are very friendly and kept us informed every step of the way in terms of what's going on and what they are going to do.

We would like our $44 dollars back. Otherwise, Friend's Plumbing is just another example of a company that advertises one thing then delivers something else. We don't understand why it took multiple calls to get an estimate. This compounded the amount of frustration that we felt given the "free estimate" came with a $44 charge. When one's house is all dusty and you don't have use of your bathroom, it is aggravating enough. Getting the run around from a company like Friend's Plumbing just makes things worse.

I heard water leaking under the floor. They were surprisingly accurate in locating the leak. They jack-hammered the floor, repaired the leak, and patched the floor to original condition.

I think the quality of the plumber was excellent. He was very experienced.

Overall rating is excellent, and I intend to use this company for any further plumbing problems.

I will NEVER use Friend's again. Had them out to install two kitchen faucets that we previously bought from Home Depot. Guy showed up on time and seemed to do a good job. 6 hours after he left the drop sink in the counter island that he was working on started to separated from the counter. At first about a 1/4", now 1/2". After reading all the glowing reviews, I figure for sure they'd be eager to correct what ever happened. To my shock they said they had nothing to do with the sink. They do not do that kind of work. All they can do is take off the faucets and once the sink is fixed they can come back and re install again. They said that there would be no way that it was something on their end. This attitude stinks and I will NEVER use Friend's Plumbing again! The guy must have accidentally done something and I fully expected them to make us happy after paying a premium price. Stay away, these guys are NOT friends!

They were wonderful! Paul had the patients of a Saint! I told him what needed to be done and he did exactly what needed to be done! He helped me adjust the water temperature on the hot water heater too. He was just so patient and nice when dealing with my elderly father. I liked that he gave us alternative options and took time to educate us on those different options. He made a very strong point to tell us that if we need ANYTHING, not to hesitate to call him!

They were wonderful. It was a weekend job because they came on a Saturday. It was an emergency visit. I got quotes from other people to just come out before any work was done. Friend's Plumbing Inc. came out, did the work and charged me $259 just for the work they did. They didn’t charge me for a service call. The other people I called had a weekend rate. They had a minimum of two hours with a call rate. We felt like we got a Christmas present from Friend's Plumbing Inc. for the amount of time and what they had to do. The price was cheap and was very reasonable. George was the guy I dealt with and he was extremely professional. He cleaned up after himself. I am sure he could have repaired the wall too. We were thrilled that he came out on a weekend. I would highly recommend him. I can’t say enough nice things about him. What had happened was that the handle behind the toilet caused a crack in the wall and the water was entering the wall. So, he repaired it. The work done by him was excellent. All the other companies told me that it would be $168 minimum and that was per hour. Friend's Plumbing said that the price would be depending on the job. I didn’t have to pay a set rate. If I had to pay $160 per hour, then it would have been $320 for a minimum of two hours. However, $259 charged by Friend's Plumbing was for the equipment, work and the worker. We looked online and called three plumbers, but Friend's Plumbing called us back within 5 to 7 minutes. The other plumbers that we contacted called us back in 30 minutes and another one was several hours later. All the plumbing places were closed on the weekend. I think if I had to have the work done in the middle of the week, it would have been the same price as what I had to pay for the weekend. They charge you by the job that is done. They don’t tell you that you have a minimum number of hours of work. The other people were telling that it would be $160 for the call and something else per hour for the workmen. Their price and quality were both excellent. He did a minimum amount of cut away on the wall to do the job. He was here in my house in about 30 to 40 minutes. I had to turn the water off the street so that I wouldn’t have any more damage on the walls. He had all the parts on his van and that means a lot. You can have people come out to fix something and then they have to leave in order to get the parts and come back. His punctuality was excellent. He was young too. He was a real master plumber. The motto is to get a price from Friend's Plumbing first. They were prompt. He was dressed in a uniform even on the weekend. He was at another job and he did call to say that he was at another job. He asked me if I had the water turned off. He then told me that he would be here in 30 minutes and he was here. He would have told me how to turn the water off if I didn’t know how to turn it off. If need be, then I would definitely use their services in the future too.

Estimate was provided before work was begun. They arrived on time as scheduled and installed the sink bases and countertops and put in the new plumbing for the remodeled bathrooms. We had not anticipated that the plumbing for one sink would need to be moved as the sink base we selected had drawers on one side. We felt it was a bit expensive. One of the drains is not closing properly already, but I believe we can fix this ourselves.

They came out within 45 minutes. They are quick in coming out any time of the day and fixing problems. They do a good job overall, but are a little bit expensive.

i called Friends based on the reviews on Angie's List. I was not disappointed. They were prompt and fixed the problem quickly. They needed a part which someone brought out to them. They work by the job, not by the hour which is a plus.

The inspection and repairs went well. The technician provided education regarding the aging water heater and slow draining pipes. I called the company 4/28/10 and the technician promptly returned to adjust the new flappers on all 3 toilets and adjusted the master bath faucet to my satisfaction. I was very impressed that Friends Plumbing would be so understanding about coming back to make the adjustments. The phone and technical personnel were extremely courteous and professional. I received much value from the maintenance contract and would highly recommend this company.

We originally had picked a lower priced tub which was defective when delivered. When this happened we realized we didn't like the quality of the tub and upgraded to a heavier steel tub at an additional cost. They went to the distributor to pick up the new tub and it was installed that same day. When they opened the box to install the tub fixtures, they discovered the wrong shower fixture had been sent and it was reordered. We were having out of town guests arriving that weekend and were very conserned that the guest bathroom wouldn't be ready but they reassured us they would have the work done. The fixture arrived in their office the next day at 5pm and they called to say they were sending their man out after-hours to install it. The kitchen work was completed within 2 hrs and the bathtub replacement was completed within 3 days. Considering the circumstances and problems we encountered, we're very pleased with the service we received. They went above and beyond to meet our needs. We recommend this company.

We’ve used them a few times and they are great. They have been punctual and their prices are reasonable.

They were very professional. They came wehn I called them and they did a good job. I would highly recommend them.

They were referred to us by someone else and we love them. I manage properties also and they have done a lot of work at my properties. They are out there right away. They are very good. Basically, you can call them in the middle of the night and they'll be out there. They were out there in couple of our properties within and hour and took care of the problem quickly. They follow up so it's like they call to make sure everything is done so they are thorough. Their prices are basically average I would say. I would continue to use them in future.

I noticed water standing in front of and to the side of my dryer leading into the back bathroom. I blamed our innocent cats of peeing there instead of using their kitty boxes inside the back bathroom. When the problem persisted, I thought there might be a leak from a water pipe leading to the clothes washer so I called Friend's Plumbing. Paul arrived promptly and was extremely courteous, helpful, and professional. After throughly checking everything, he determined the water heater was leaking from the bottom. It was nine and 1/2 years old and was no longer under warranty. He replaced it with an identical Rheem heater and voila no more leaks! In addition to Angie's List, they were also recommended to me by a dear friend from church. They are the only plumbing firm I will be using from now on and would recommend them to everyone!

They are very knowledgeable and told me the pros and cons about a new water heater. They have a book with the prices, so you the information you need. They use booties to cover their shoes and blankets to cover the floor. Their honesty and integrity are why I would recommend them. They are good people and their service is great.
