My two plumbers, Eric and Doug, were very professional and did a complete job repiping the whole house, under the house and in the house. Eric also fixed the installation of my new water heater and put in a drip pan which the original water heater installers forgot to put on and he secured the electrical connection for the heater which was lose. It took them both about eight hours of constant work. After they cleaned up and did a great job. I'd give their work and professionalism FIVE STARS.

They were able to solve our problems and did great work.

Toilet now flushes without water backing up! Work was good and the plumber knew what he was doing, just thought the price was high. Forgot to ask for an Angie's List discount!

They brought the toilet. Installed new one. Hauled away old one. Somehow the plumber spilled something on my white bedroom carpet. They wanted to be paid before they left and I refused till carpet was cleaned. They sent someone they had on call to clean carpet, which he did. Called before the end of the day for payment. Since that day the carpet's spots have reemerged and multiplied. So NOT happy with the side effects.

Excellent as always. I have used Friends for years now and I always get great service, professional techs, fair prices, and most importantly, ethical recommendations. Friends plumbed in a water softener 4 years ago. Since then they've installed a whole house filter and installed a higher capacity water heater. With this latest repair, I assumed the water bead tank clogged up and since the control panel blew up from the water, I figured they would recommend a new water softener. Nope, they found the source of the water leak which was a broken plastic clip that he quickly fixed. They even tried to use a and quot;usedand quot; control panel to save me some money which i appreciated. Ends up we ordered just the circuit board which was several hundred dollars cheaper than a new softener. I had a previous repair with friends that was such a quick fix, they didn't even charge me. Friends plumbing is the only plumber I will use because I know they're an ethical group. Also, they always send plumbers with experience and know what they're doing. Great company!

I am a contract customer of this company. (I paid an initial amt several years ago and receive an annual inspection of my plumbing for $24.50 - PLUS a discount on service.) I needed a plumber to install a sink, laundry tub and faucets so called Friends to inquire about their hourly rate. I was told it was normally $141 per hour but discounted to $98.50 for me as a contract customer. Since that sounded a bit high, I called several other plumbing companies to check their hourly rates. I found these to be between $95 and $104 per hour! What kind of a "break" was I getting from Friends??? I called and cancelled my scheduled inspection, giving them the reason for doing so. Do they take all their customers for fools or was it just me?

I have used them twice. The first time for a major addition and the second time when our neighbor ran over our water main. I was happy both times. It was not a small job.

They cleaned up after themselves. They were very professional. They did their job properly and were very polite.

We have used them for several repairs and would recommend.

This was a holiday weekend, so I decided to pay for the Saturday service as it was a decent leak going into my home and Monday was still going to be higher cost service. The plumber was courteous and professional. He arrived on time to look at the problem. For context, I have an incoming and outgoing pipe that run parallel coming into my garage. One is before the water softener, and the other is after the water softener which carries the water into the house. The leak was inside the wall so, I could not tell which of the two pipes was leaking. The plumber quoted me a price to replace both pipes. No real diagnosis was really done. I had two issues with the experience. First, the repair only used basic parts (valve, copper pipe, etc...) but the plumber had to go leave to go pick up the parts. I would have guessed that stuff was in the van. This wasn't a big deal really, since he wasn't charging by the hour, but it does say list all the details. Second, and most importantly is the price. The bill for the work was approximately $500. The materials cost was about $30 of that, maybe $35 tops. The repair took the plumber about 45 minutes once he had returned with the parts. That is a pretty intense hourly rate. I understand that it was the weekend (which is a 50% increase in price for them apparently), but the and quot;Bookand quot; pricing was just a bit insane. I would have saved a lot of money just paying a plumber $200/hour, which is crazy to think about. And heck, if he would have charged me $200 an hour and $50 for parts, the company would have made off great and I'd probably be writing a better review and been happy with my experience. The work was done well and has held up, so no complaints there. I just felt the price was absurdly high for the time required.

On time, quick worker, no problems. Shower now works great with a tub plug!

We like them quite a bit. They've done a lot of things for us. They respond quickly and do what they to say. They are very nice to deal with. Their pricing was competitive.

EXCELLENT. Excellent experience when calling with a request, excellent response time, punctuality, excellent communication, reasonable prices, professional staff. We have had numerous issues over the years that they have always resolved completely for us. They will come every year to just inspect, take a look at everything to make sure all is functioning properly and efficiently, make recommendations (not just trying to sell goods and services), and very respectful of my time. They've always been very good with explaining all options, giving honest, accurate estimates, and staff that is personable, courteous, respectful, and professional.

I would definitely use them again for any plumbing needs.

We had an 11yr old 75 gal. propane water heater that was leaking. Friend's didn't do the original installation, but we've used them for several items so I called them. They were out the next day and replaced the unit + an expansion tank. A couple weeks later, the unit wouldn't stay lit, so I called Friend's again. The tech was there first thing the next morning, figured out the problem and then they sent out two more guys to fix it fast. It was a mistake from the warehouse from the get-go, but these things happen- albeit rarely. The most important things are these; Friend's is always prompt; they show up on time; they diagnose problems and repair things quickly and professionally. We're very pleased with Friend's- we'll use them again.

I had what I believed to be a leak in my house that was not visibly detectable inside or outside of the house. I knew I had a leak because my water meter was still showing usage, ie the meter was turning when there was no water usage going on in my house. I tracked this leak for over three months, doing the math, as I recorded a water loss of about one gallon per hour several months ago to 6 gallons per hour when I finally called a plumber, actually three of them. The first two plumbers could not locate the leak and thought it may be a leak in one of the water pipes running under the house below the cement slab. They recommended that I contact a company that specializes in leak dectection. I called a few of them who all agreed this was going to be an extremely costly fix, in the thousands of dollars, if the have to break the floor tiles and cement slab to find and repair the leak, which they would never have found.I called one more plumbing company, Friends in Oldsmar, to get another opininion on the leak. Friends sent a plumber, Dan W, who located the leak within five minutes. Dan W was truly amazing! He examined the water softener, as did the other two plumbers before him, but he was also listening and not just looking for leaking water. I asked him what going on, and he replied you can sometimes hear the leak. He heard something, pinched the flexible drain tube, and asked me to check the meter. Sure enough, the meter stopped running. He opened up the top on the 20 year old water softener and showed me the water flowing though the stuck valve and explained that it drained into the sewage system, thus there would be no visible evidence of it. He said all I needed was a new water softener system. He then went on to do some other plumbing work around the house, which I was very pleased w\ith.I highly recommend Dan W; besides being very competent, he was quite pleasant and very informative. But BEWARE if you call Friends Plumbing and ask specifically for Dan W to answer the service call. I recommended Dan W to two other homeowners who knew how pleased I was with Dan W's work. However, two other plumbers were sent instead. Both homeowners did not like the work they performed and felt they were overcharged for inferior work. LESSON LEARNED: if you ask for Dan W and someone else answers the call, send him back! Also, I called the owner of the company to express how pleased I was Dan W's work. I got the owner's voice mail and asked for him to call me back. He never did. That is bad business in my book!Overall, I was extremely impressed with Dan W but not with the company.

Where to begin?......Well, I called them again due to the valve they replaced 2 days ago in my shower (it was leaking after they replaced it....) -Did not pay 1 cent. for a service call!-Did not pay for a new valve. Also, before the technician from Friend's Plumbing showed up, I had another tech from a different company telling me my home water softener was shot and that I needed a new whole system....duh! I already knew that, yet he charged me $106.00 for the service call!!!!!...AND that other company wanted $1,600 for their and quot;floor modeland quot;.....NO THANKS!!! So 20min latter, FRIEND'S PLUMBING shows up, changes the valve FOR FREE and quotes me a new home water softener system; installed with labor for $1000!!! :).... Not only that, I mentioned to the technician my reverse osmosis under the sink was leaking from the faucet...within a minute; he diagnosed the problem and saved me another $500.00 for a new system since I also asked him for a quote for a dual installation... Extremely pleased with them...he did not try to sell me a product I didn't need...

Called them around 8:30am....showed up around 10:30am. I called due to low water pressure / shower and quot;stutteringand quot; on my master bath. The technician took a quick look and quickly determined the low pressure had nothing to with the water heater. It was the water softener for the house. Quickly bypassed the softener and problem solved! (more on this later once I get a company to look at it!)... Anyway, after the pressure was fixed (BTW, no charge on their part)...I showed him the stuttering shower head....He knew exactly what the problem was and before he started the work, he showed me the price for the valve and work ($221.00). We even ran into problems removing the shower handle and he asked first before drilling it out and replacing it!!! After all work was completed, he gave me some info on home water softeners and told me if the other company charged me more that $700.00 for a system, to give him a call since they can do it for cheaper.....yes, the whole system! Very pleased with them...:) He was upfront with all costs before parts / labor...no hidden fees.

They have been out 3 times. They have been so wonderful the gentlemen that came out was so sweet. This guy came out to help us with our sink that wasn't drying right. Friday afternoon quarter after PM the guy finally leaves. When he left my father said it still wasn't drying right so the guy came back and just changed out the drain with a new one. When you call they come right out. The gentlemen was so kind.

They were very good and completed the job very quickly. I would most definitely use them again.
