Our sales rep was helpful, professional, knowledgeable and attentive. The prices were the best we found anywhere in the area. Their service was on time, they communicated well in advance, and even followed up to be sure everything went well. I could not have been more pleased with the entire transaction.

We went to severl high-end appliance stores where we were offered cookies and bottled water but the sales people at those stores did not LISTEN. We had 3 criteria: No microwave (don't sell me one. I won't use it), dishwasher must have a built-in food disposer/grinder, built in refrigerator. The first store we went to tried selling us a package that included a microwave and the dishwasher did not have the grinder. That salesperson told us we were "wrong" to not want a microwave and that the grinder really doesn't matter. We had 3 other similar experiences where the salespeople were clearly trying to sell us what created the maximum commission. We went with FT because they listened to us and immediately put together the package that fit us. They answered all of our questions. They provided spec sheets on everything so we could have out contractor build the kitchen so everything would fit perfectly. Delivery and everything was perfectly smooth.

They were good. The person who dealt with was honest. Their price is lower than other places. If you find a cheaper price within 60 days anywhere else they will match that. They are very competitive. They had another person install it for us.

UPDATED REVIEW: I take back every negative thing I said about this provider in my first review! When Jason responded to my review two years ago, he meant what he said. When I contacted Famous Tate again this time (online), I was provided an immediate response. Not only were they responsive to my needs (we had to replace our two year old Samsung refrigerator. It turned out to be a lemon), they did it quickly, efficiently and in the most customer friendly way possible. I am so impressed and have told everyone I know about our experience. I am thankful we can trust a local provider. ORIGINAL REVIEW: We are remodeling our home and I was looking for an appliance package (refrigerator, dishwasher, range, microwave etc). I checked Angie's List and found that this provider had an excellent rating. I spent a considerable amount of time on the website looking at the various appliances, and when I knew exactly what I needed I contacted them through the email link on their site. I chose this method as calling would be difficult to follow with all the model numbers. I thought it much easier to list the exact appliances I wanted and was hoping for a reply email with a package price. Frankly, I don't even remember the exact date (or month) I sent the email. It was months ago. Unfortunately for me, I did not keep a copy of the details. It was lengthy. I never received a reply from this company. One of my biggest gripes with companies that have websites is many don't reply to the method of communication they list on their sites. If you are not going to follow up by email, don't include an email link. Simple as that. I have had many owners say "Oh, we prefer that you call. We don't check email regularly". Really? Then why do you have the link on your site. Very poor business practice. So, I have no idea what their service is like in person, but it certainly is poor if you try to contact them through their website.

My interaction there with salesman went very well. He was very good and very knowledgeable and very professional. I spent about $500 for the dishwasher and the washer and dryer was maybe $2000.

Everyone was knowledgeable and courteous. We shopped around and the prices here could not be beat.

In talking to the kitchen designers we received bids from, all recommended Famous Tate. We had looked at Viking, Decor and Wolf and were leaning towards Monogram. Our salesman, Bob, spent the time with us to explain the nuances of each product line, he was very knowledgeable and patient. Bob also was able to get us a great deal on a range hood that had been returned, providing us a significant savings. Since the range hood was a returned item, there were some pieces missing which were ordered and delivered promptly. Famous Tate defies the stereotype of a big box appliance store, they are wonderful.

When I bought the stove, Gary Brown, the salesperson, was in Tampa but now he has moved to their Oldsmar store. He made me a fantastic deal on the stove - he helped me pick up stuff that was worth it. He did a very good job. They blew everyone else in terms of pricing. They were at the house when they said they would be, hooked everything up and called back to make sure that everything was fine. My experience with them was definitely good, and I couldn’t have been happier. I still keep in touch with Gary. If I needed something from him today, I would call him right now.

Comparison shopping visit to Oldsmar store. Salesman greeted us. Listened to our needs. Showed us several options. Did not try and sell us more than we needed but made sure we did not 'downgrade'. Knowledgeable of the products (and there are a lot of them). Very non-pressure approach. Pointed out the pros and cons of various products. Closed the deal and arranged the setup and delivery right there. Every thing came off exactly as described. We departed and the appliances were delivered as promised.

Rudy was fantastic. Very informative and helpful, He was never high pressure, which is usually a turnoff for us. Although we had picked out a range somewhere else,he was able to find a similar one at a better price for us. We really felt we got our monies worth, he did not nickel & dime us. I have since passed on his name to another friend who is in the market for a fridge.

They are not high pressure in their sales. They were polite, courteous and exact in their product features for their warranties. They also called to make sure that the date of the delivery was okay too. Their prices were very reasonable in comparison to others. About eight months after I purchased the product I heard a buzzing noise and I contacted them about the problem. They came out and found an item stuck in the drain and didn't charge a thing since it was still under warranty.

The salesman seemed honest and reliable. The delivery service was very good and they also helped me with other work such as balancing my refrigerator door. The prices were competitive and fair.
